I’m not lying when I say this is one of the best K-dramas ever made. The plot, the characters, the scenery. Everything about this is realistic and extremely well-made. Props to everyone involved 👏🏼
The script, the pacing, the music, the emotions left me breathless. Just unforgettably meaningful, warm writing and payoff for all the painful buildup. I understand Woong's anger now that the person he thought he could fall back on nearly abandoned him in the same way as the past, but their reconciliation now is so satisfying, fulfilling and beautiful 😭❤️🥺
i love how he said”please keep loving me” instead of please love me. he’s confident in his own and yeonsu’s feelings, and i think realizing one’s own feelings and being aware of others is a sign of maturity that i do not yet have. when he looked at the jujube, he immediately knew that it was yeonsu’s way of caring for him. he didn’t think for a second that it wasn’t for him and coming up with a dozen other reasons why she should have jujube in her house, which is something i see in a lot of other kdramas and even in my own life. he knows his worth and he knows the person that he loves, and i think that in and of itself is so beautiful. there are so many other things about this drama that touches my heart. all the characters are so dynamic and well-rounded that you can relate to all of them. i wish them all happiness, but since this is such a realistic drama, i wouldn’t be disappointed if not all the characters had a happy ending because that is how it is in life.
I don’t think really knew his worth. He had some serious abandonment issues having been deserted by his father in a public place at 4. This comes out later in the series. It made me understand how it impacted him so much when she left. He was yet again thrown away by someone he loved. It’s so obvious he loves he but he had never actually said the words when they were a couple in high school and Uni.

The situation where they express their feelings is very beautiful. For people who are in a relationship would want that situation. It's so beautiful when we can love and be loved by that special person.
No gonna lie this is my No.1 kdrama and I've been a kdrama fan for 10yrs... I've never seen a kdrama with such perfect casts, storyline, OST, cinematography, chemistry... Everything is SOOO PERFECT and the most important of all, the acting skills of Wooshik & Dami is just so incredible
Same here. I've been a fan of K-dramas for a long long time. And this drama made me feel so many emotions! Certainly the best drama for me! It's perfect. The acting especially, they are amazing actors.
Yes same for me, I watch drama since 2011. There were a lot of good dramas but sometimes the acting skill of the lead I liked was not that good. They have the visual but some popular actor/ actress, or idol turned actor, lack skill. But the plot of this drama is not only amazing, but the actors are so amazing too. The ost are amazing like u said. So I think for me, its the best drama I ever seen.
@@Carelele64 I started watching K-dramas in 2004. And the number of times I have watched Episode 12 seems obsessive to me. I've never been this obsessed over a K-drama before, which tells me that I absolutely love this drama! 🥰🥰🥰
They have different Love languages, Choi Ung was more on the "act of service" and Yeonsu was "word of affirmations", but in this episode they seem to have exchange those love languages. Notice how in the first part of the episode, Yeonsu was trying to make jujubee tea for Choi Ung because of his insomia, showing that she cares about him and in this part Choi Ung voiced out what he feels about Yeonsu which he doesn't often do when they are still together back then. I just love this whole episode and the plot twist at the end too🥺
All the nuances are fcking on point. From DaMi's tears from the right eye to WooShik's tsk. No other pair of actors couldve done this scene justice expect for these 2. Absolutely perfect
The way Choi Ung trying not to cry and keep his emotions while uttering those words makes it more realistic and how Yeonsu cries while hearing the words she really wants to hear from the person she thought gave up on her... and the "Please" though! I'm crying and silently crying (because everybody in the house is sleeping) the hell out of me!
In real life, people like Yeonsoo would always be given up on. No cap. It's because it is so frustrating to have a partner who bottles up everything and treats you like a convenience. Yes, she did love him, but she never opened up to him fully about her struggles. She never fully owed up to her past mistake and didn't even apologize for the hurt she caused him. Yes, we saw that she suffered but would that be enough to forgive. Maybe if Ung knew, but no, even after they got back together he was still piecing together what happened. Point is, if Ung didn't see those jujubes and her hidden acts of love, then he wouldn't even be able to go back into loving her. In this moment, he chose to be vulnerable and once again take a leap of faith to love someone like her.
Absolutely blown away by his performance. He’s like a cute little puppy you want to hug but the next minute he’s grabbing her to kiss her and you just swoon. Their chemistry is amazing on the screen❤️
I love how Woo Shik doesn’t overdo the crying. Sometimes in kdramas (Startup) the male lead goes a little overboard with that. He shows restraint but still so much emotion in his eyes and the moment created is so real. I’d love to kno his techniques because my son is an aspiring actor. I’d love to see him do other roles. And KDM..she’s a dam about to burst..and when her tears spill over it’s such a relief! ❤️❤️❤️

Usually there's a hint of overdramatic flair and unrealistic circumstances that are typical of kdramas (that are still lovely to watch nonetheless), but the realism and chemistry with this drama, the script and especially the actors are absolutely breathtaking. I can't get enough of Wooshik's eyes, it's like the camera caught him in a real breakup scene.
Don't know if anyone else noticed that Choi Woong's confession sounded like Meredith Grey's famous line, "pick me, choose me, love me." However, the scene was done in classic kdrama style- with the beautiful pacing, atmosphere and ost. I love the use of silence in the beginning of the scene. Breaking through the silence, he chose to honestly confess his feelings and his longing for Yeon Su's care and love.

In twitter this drama is trending even before its aired, and the clip always dominating Naver top 100. Many knetz comment that they prefer see it on netflix since there’s no commercial break.. or mon-Tuesday is hectic day so they prefer stream it online later
Woah i'm impressed by wooshik's acting, he just hold his tears to finish his word toward yeonsu, staring his love without hesitation, and i'm here crying like a dolphin
The acting are top notch for both of them, i just kept crying after this scene. Choi woo shik and kim dami deserve best actor and actress award seriously👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is probably the most simple , heartbreaking yet the most beautiful confession i have seen in a while. No over the top gestures or million camera angles or ending in a kiss with soundtrack blaring from all sides ( I am not saying I don't like those, they have their place as well). But this is so intimate & beautiful. It's them especially the guy baring his soul and the girl knowing what exactly he meant.
This by far my most favorite scene I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how many times I watched this scene back to back just to appreciate the acting, the directing, the script. It’s like every little things here are calculated but delivered naturally. I will remember this scene, choi woosik, kim dami, writer lee naeun, and director kim yunjin in my mind for this remarkable work..
yeonsu& choi ung were traumatized with different reasons. he was scared to be abandoned&she was scared to hold on to someone for too long that she would forget reality. both of them suffered&all they needed is each other. genius writing
i love how the few seconds silence in between lines plays a big role to make this scene more emotional. the emotions of both actors made me believed that this scene could happen to anyone
They set a new bar for outstanding natural acting… You both rock, Choi Woo Shik & Kim Da Mi!!! As the drama goes and nearing the end, we’re getting deeply attached to you guys, 웅연수,… You win our hearts… Wishing you both the best.. 💙
That's some brilliant acting! I was immersed in their emotions with them and forgetting this is actually fiction. Dami and Wooshik are absolute geniuses! But the cinematography and the writing(!!!!) is equally beautiful. I just love everything about this body of work. I think this drama will ruin my future experiences of watching other dramas, I can't settle for mediocre acting and writing anymore 😅
Ok, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I just love how so far, they are correcting wrongs mentioned in the show or past plot points. Like how Ung is asking Yeon-so to stay so that she'll never let him go, like she told him to do on their day trip in the past; he finally admits he loves her first without her fishing for it, and he confesses after Yeon-so makes him her priority, because now Ung is her reality and there isn't conflict between her two realities like during college. 😭😭😭 I love them so much!!!
This scene prove that good actor not only just screaming or other. Just say all emotions trough good intonation and eyes. That's what i love from ex JYP actors. A lot of jyp actors speaks through their eyes..
0:34 The way she breathes... damn it sounds so so real and I really can feel it!! It shows her hesitation and her pride still keep her from saying her true feelings, Dami turned those things out so good!! I'm very impressed
After watched Our Beloved Summer suddenly my standard for a drama is really change, i'm start wached k drama since full house era, but never found drama like OBS even for once, the script is really beautiful, the chemistry between ung and yoensu, they are talented actually. Never get bored watching obs again and again..plus the cinematography is beyound imagine
One of the best reconciliation I've ever watched. 🥺 The vibe, soundtrack, beautiful scripts and emotions were everywhere. I got goosebumps watching this kdrama. Such a wonderful piece. 🥺🥺 Hands down to Dami and Wooshik such a great actors. I would love to see them in big screen as a couple.💕
I cried in happiness in this scene with a goosebumps. WooSik and Dami's acting is moving, the BGM is perfect and the script.., omg everything is perfect! At first, I thought He YeonSu would express her feelings by talking to Woong. But when Woong said those words, I realize that oh just like Jjong Jjong, he chose to face up with the problems and start doing sth instead of turning a blind eye on those matters. This is the turning point not only for Woong but also for his relationship w YeonSu. I truly wish all the best for them from now on 🥺❤️
Choi Woo Sik's acting was exactly how they looked.. Kim Da-Mi's blank stare with tears welling was exactly how I did except I wasn't looking directly at them. This opened up memories. They're briIIiant actors and the team behind this are art makers. It takes much skill to create a very realistic scene.
I cried like crazy watching this scene. Ung has been quiet for a long time about his feelings since he met Yeonsu again. Still we got to see more and more of the loneliness he feels all along. It got built up slowly and when he finally says what he feels in this scene, begging her to keep loving him, I can't hold it anymore like I can really feel his pain even though I cannot relate to such sitation at all. The whole thing is so powerful. Both Wooshik and Dami are amazing. Everyone behind this drama is amazing. This drama is a real masterpiece.
This scene I tell u chokes me literally tears just fall naturally everytime I see this scene....the acting, the emotions on both of their faces is just amazing....this scene is just so beautiful and pains my heart at the same time....
This series is giving me same feelings when I watched Cloy......such perfect acting that you doubt whether things are actually real..... perfect people to bring this scene to life! Great writing and execution👏👏👏
This scene really made me cry! I'm so happy that KIM dami and woshik worked again in this drama. Such a brilliant actors who can portray emotions so naturally. This OBS is so good especially the Cinematography. Keep on supporting and watching this drama.
Gosh this scene😭😍. By far the best confession/bare my heart out scene I have ever seen. The music, cinematography, the acting, argh. Chef kiss. We all need a Choi Ung.
can't help falling in love with these teary eyes from ung and yeon soo, it makes me feel more sympathetic with Ung after he bared all things to Soo, they are so amazing and both are very talented, they pass all the emotional scene to us and make my time more memorable with Our Beloved Summer
Great acting chemistry, simple story but so masterfully done. Every episode is like a roller coaster ride. Hope to see Wooshik and Dami again in another project. 👏👏 To PDnims, writers, cast, crew and OST song writers and singers congratulations.
Pay attention to every detail of their acting. They are sitting still yet their face, glances, eyes, VOICE, delivery, timing, not to mention when to cry silently. With the popularity that OBS has been getting, i’d still say this show deserves so much more. They are still very underrated. I have been watching this show countless times and yet I still discover amazing details that the actors and every creators of the show injected which made so much sense. It’s a masterpiece! Love to see more amazing projects between Dami & Wooshik, and the creators of OBS. I don’t think they know how to settle for an average performance.
The fact that I can feel every bit of this scene is just so perfect. The lines, eyes contact & tears, the way both Dami and Wooshik deliver the whole scene, wow! it got me paused watching just to catch my breath since I'm crying (, sobbing, bawling) unstoppably. They understood the assignment. Great actors, indeed! 🙇🏻♀️✨
I was bawling early in the morning before work. I just burst. I felt both of them. Every pain and love for each other. They're two terrific, brilliant young actors who do their craft in perfection. Bravo 👏 👏 👏
i swear this was a beautifully heartbreaking scene :(( wooshik and dami did a really great job portraying the emotions of ex-lovers trying to get back together 🥺
Wooshik and Dami made me cry with them in this scene And can we appreciate the BGM here it just goes so well with this scene. It melted my heart how warm and peaceful it is to be back together with the one whom you've loved all your life even after breaking up. This scene shows and proves that love can be reunited only if you put efforts and talk it out with your partner ❤️
OMG this scene... it's so deep...it feels so real... the emotions reached my heart...the bgm, the dialogues, their acting...everything about this scene is just so perfect...congratulation to the whole team of beloved summer and thank you for giving us such a wonderful drama!
Will I ever find another drama as beautifully written as this one ? I don't know but I'm sure OUR BELOVED SUMMER will remain my favorite Kdrama ever ♥️
This is so epic that I think those lines of Ung have already been imprinted in my mind! Good actors, awesome script writing and lovely OST made this scene exceptionally memorable!
Rewatched this for the nth time in Netflix and yet I still feel the same feels. Ugly sobbing coz 4 episodes left 🥺 They say the Director and the Writer were both rookies, they don't seem like it with this superb production.
Another Best Actor and Actress awards for their excellent performance👏👏.. Both acting prowess are superb and exceptional when it comes to their craft🙌🙌.. I'm in love with them since Witch1 💘💕💞❤️
This drama was so well casted, so well made and very well written. Their dialogue felt so real. The scene of ung just laying on the ground was just so real. And yeonsu… I’m tryna be like you, ma boi!
I love how the words were conveyed. The script is just ahhh so put together. If this were your generic drama, this scene will probably include an "I still love you" from Woong, but here, it was expressed in such a realistic manner. Instead of "I still love you", we felt the longing from Woong's "I miss you, don't let go this time, let's keep loving each other from now." It hits the nail on the head.
When Choi Wooshik said on In The Soop that he’d rather come across as cool than cute, I immediately thought of this scene. He had so many moments where he bypassed cute and felt more leading man than rom-com. Especially when he’s focused on making his artwork. Women do love artists. But, please don’t lose the cute, we love that about you!!!!
very impressive confession scene. I think viewers who have followed it since the first episode will also feel the emotional outburst that each character has been harboring for so long
I love how they made Ung choose love over hate. He even begged for her love despite the hurt he felt and still feels when she left him. Still one of the best scenes ever. ❤
It’s the pairing that I least expect to love… though I’ve seen ‘em both in different dramas they haven’t really left me that impression to follow them… until now ….wow just wow… episode after episode their performances blown me away! Fantastic chemistry!! And will I say anything anymore about the OST? It’s such beautiful 🎶 … can’t get enough of it! #OurBelovedSummer
It is honestly well done how this scene made. The emotion is sooo relaistic and yes especially with tears. What a story to share with 4 seasons and scenery. The way they express their heart towards one another is amazing and beautiful. Never thought this romance k-drama is something different. The plot, the characters, the scenery. Everything about this strikes so much with the word reality and extremely well develop.
I mean, the lines of this kdrama...they just go straight to the heart. So relatable. I thought this is just another romantic-teen, good-vibes kdrama..but this is deep. I'm grateful I watched this. And I am grateful to its creators.

Homcha is weekend drama, 15 top the most high drama ratings are weekend drama. OBS is mon-Tuesday drama. In twitter this drama is trending even before its aired, and the clip always dominating Naver top 100. Many knetz comment that they prefer see it on netflix since there’s no commercial break.. or mon-Tuesday is hectic day so they prefer stream it online later
HCCC was amazing too, just for different reasons! I see more buzz coming up for this, it took a bit of time for HCCC to get some real love too!
Exactly!!!!! This is one of the best dramas ever for me ! The plot is so relatable and unpredictable too!
Woah i'm impressed by wooshik's acting, he just hold his tears to finish his word toward yeonsu, staring his love without hesitation, and i'm here crying like a dolphin
The acting are top notch for both of them, i just kept crying after this scene. Choi woo shik and kim dami deserve best actor and actress award seriously👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
the most beautiful confession scene in kdrama world❤️
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that they are literally closer to perfection! The chemistry and acting prowess of these two is on another level.
Omg I thought I was going to lose it….I wasn’t expecting that confession but it was so freaking amazing ♥️♥️♥️💕
This script is a legend... “Please love me”
THIS IS SCENE IS A MASTERPIECE😫
the long silence before this really makes scenes like this more suffocating ang engaging. I love directions like this!!
After that scene when he cried talking about being abandoned rlly hit me hard. His acting was amazing and i could rlly feel his emotions
yeonsu& choi ung were traumatized with different reasons. he was scared to be abandoned&she was scared to hold on to someone for too long that she would forget reality.
both of them suffered&all they needed is each other. genius writing
i love how the few seconds silence in between lines plays a big role to make this scene more emotional. the emotions of both actors made me believed that this scene could happen to anyone
They set a new bar for outstanding natural acting… You both rock, Choi Woo Shik & Kim Da Mi!!! As the drama goes and nearing the end, we’re getting deeply attached to you guys, 웅연수,… You win our hearts… Wishing you both the best.. 💙
The storyline of this series is so simple yet well written and well executed. That's what makes it feel genuine and relatable.
I know right? If this drama will end, I keep thinking what's next to watch? Will it be worth it?
This entire confession makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it. It's just so sad yet beautiful!
What do you think about When Camellia Blooms?
Dami's teary eyes always gets me. Damn, both of them are really good. Happy ending please.
One of the best reconciliation I've ever watched. 🥺
The vibe, soundtrack, beautiful scripts and emotions were everywhere. I got goosebumps watching this kdrama. Such a wonderful piece. 🥺🥺
Hands down to Dami and Wooshik such a great actors.
Chungmuro actors are scary, the emotions and expressions feels so real.
This scene made me cry and is the reason why i decided to watch this series. Best kdrama for me
can't help falling in love with these teary eyes from ung and yeon soo, it makes me feel more sympathetic with Ung after he bared all things to Soo, they are so amazing and both are very talented, they pass all the emotional scene to us and make my time more memorable with Our Beloved Summer
I’m so happy this drama is on Netflix. I can rewatch it anytime ❤️
Great acting chemistry, simple story but so masterfully done. Every episode is like a roller coaster ride. Hope to see Wooshik and Dami again in another project. 👏👏 To PDnims, writers, cast, crew and OST song writers and singers congratulations.
We really were not able to manage when they are serious like this! 🥺 such a heartwarming heart to heart talk ♥️
Had me crying while smiling as Yeon su nodded to ung 🥺🥺❤️❤️
Raise your hand if u cried harder than them
I was bawling early in the morning before work.
Wooshik and Dami made me cry with them in this scene
And can we appreciate the BGM here it just goes so well with this scene. It melted my heart how warm and peaceful it is to be back together with the one whom you've loved all your life even after breaking up. This scene shows and proves that love can be reunited only if you put efforts and talk it out with your partner ❤️
This the mosy realistic k drama i have ever seen. I swear. This is just best❤
When both actors are the best. You just feel d different emotions❤.
Bottles of tears, don't even know how many times I watched it.....GOD
This is so epic that I think those lines of Ung have already been imprinted in my mind! Good actors, awesome script writing and lovely OST made this scene exceptionally memorable!
THIS SCENE was in another level💜💙💜💙💜💙🥺🥺🥺
Rewatched this for the nth time in Netflix and yet I still feel the same feels. Ugly sobbing coz 4 episodes left 🥺
They say the Director and the Writer were both rookies, they don't seem like it with this superb production.
Another Best Actor and Actress awards for their excellent performance👏👏.. Both acting prowess are superb and exceptional when it comes to their craft🙌🙌.. I'm in love with them since Witch1 💘💕💞❤️
Dami just sitting there but her eyes expressed all the emotions🥲
crying ugly over these beautiful scene, they really did a great job 😭 when i tell you best kdrama ever, i really mean it 😩💙💛
こんな素敵なドラマこれしかないと思ってる
This was so beautifully vulnerable and honest, what marvelous acting.
Legitimately the best on screen chemistry I’ve seen in years.
very impressive confession scene.
I think viewers who have followed it since the first episode will also feel the emotional outburst that each character has been harboring for so long
i still cry everytime i watch this kdrama bec of how well written it is
not even lying but this is one of the best kdramas! worth every minute
Just give them Oscar please...
Ung's confession.... Aaahhh, my heart cant help it 😭
I dont know how many times I've rewatched this scene. Everything about it was a masterpiece..
They are great actors!
Dami and Wooshik played their role so well. 👏
What an execution!!! Best chemistry and best actor and actress. I ugly crying watching this scene😭😭😭 this drama is perfecttttt!!!! My lifetime drama
I mean, the lines of this kdrama...they just go straight to the heart. So relatable. I thought this is just another romantic-teen, good-vibes kdrama..but this is deep. I'm grateful I watched this. And I am grateful to its creators.
