I had a feeling that Yeonsu would be first person Ung would ever draw. The only constant he wanted in his life. That's such a romantic gesture. Ung's love language exceeds everything. I'm crying 💛💙
Always felt throughout the series that the moment Ung draws YS, it would be a powerful moment, glad we got it!

Yeonsu is the first and last person Ung ever gonna draw.
The human Ung views as a constant in his life just like how buildings don't change, Yeonsu is and will always be there all the same. You deserve all the happiness and more, Ung and Yeonsu!
I can't even tell how beautiful this scene is. This is probably my fav scene of whole drama. It stole my heart completely. As we know he drew building cause people are temporary in life but he drew yeon su cause he knew she was the permanent one in his life. This scene is just uhhhh i can't even tell in words. The moment I yeon su snached the book and saw her sketch in the book i was swooned at that right moment. Gonna miss this drama. No doubt one of the best drama have watched till now. This drama made me a fan of Choi woo shik.
Some of the very few actors who has been able to grace us as Leads with their charisma first is witch and now this, Woo shik looks like a cute wet puppy that when he looks into your eyes, you just melt, and Dami as usual is Gangsta, LOL. Love her and him.

For a moment I expected a wedding ring in the book but no, it was something even better and much more surprising!🥺❤️ For me it’s the sweetest proposal in a kdrama yet (especially as an artist😭❤️)
Can we talk about their journey? They had to overcome so much, growing up, breaking up, overcoming their biggest fears, finding themselves and their worth, long distance, and finally finding their way back to eachother in the end. But what’s so sweet is that it was always them in the end, they only had eyes and their heart for eachother. Deep inside they still hoped for one another. “I’m the only one for you” 😭❤️
Will miss these two, but I’ll stay in this year with them as well, because I won’t get tired of rewatching this beautiful story. (We need that married life documentary pls!) 🥰

This dramaa , these casts , main leads, story lines, romances, the proposal, the ending and my taetae's deep voice in the background are just too perfect def one of the best drama I've seen so far gonna miss them and hoping for their more dramas together in future and I'm in love with wooshik I never thought I needed him as the main lead and I wanna see him in more dramas as the main lead best wishes for him
We knew we would die when Woong draws his first human figure , ie Yeonsoo , and they sure saved it for the best part.

Someone cast them as a married couple next as they wish haha but in an action genre like Dami as an assassin or spy or a detective with her husband Wooshik as an FBI agent
I want eight more episodes of this. The first four detailing the first year of marriage and Yeon-soo's pregnancy, resulting in a son.
The last four will have a series of time-jumps with the last fifteen minutes having Yeon-soo and Ung as grandparents surrounded by their several grandkids, between them, will be THAT PICTURE (which I called, by the way).

This drama was so beautifully heartwarming and so realistic. The way they have grown in those 10 years, came so far, doing what they’ve wanted to do with their lives was so delightful to watch. And the ending was absolutely perfect. My heart felt so full after watching it :’)

To be honest, Our Beloved Summer is the best drama that I’ve watched so far. It’s not purely, RomCom. But, touches almost all the aspects of life. I also love the fact that they did not leave us hanging like, the “I love you” that we never heard up until the last episode. Choi Ung finally draw a person. The color of their shoes during their first kiss. (If you know what I mean)… I mean all of the scenes become so memorable because the pacing of the story is good and every question in this drama was slowly and beautifully answered. Anyways, the point is this is not your typical drama , plus it’s in touch with reality.

But our year hasn't ended yet." - 2:26 a subtle way to express the literal little of Our Beloved Summer "That year, we." which summarize that their story hasn't ended but just started. This drama is just beautifully written. Lee Naeun nim is genius. There is something about when a female writer create a male lead character.

Yeonsu was Ung's first muse - both literally and figuratively.
Among what appeared to be "dull" and "lifeless" drawings of buildings is a sole portrait of Yeonsu, whom Ung has cherished for the longest time. His drawing of when he first saw Yeonsu tells us how even the most seemingly insignificant encounters could make a lasting impression on another person.
They were each other's first and last love, and they stayed strong throughout the seasons. Although life wasn't kind to them in the 10 summers they were apart, the universe redeemed itself a thousand-fold with a lifetime of beloved summers together.

You can tell from her reaction to his drawing that she understood perfectly what his drawing of her meant, what it meant for how he expressed his love for her. Wow the layers in the writing, the acting, this was a spectacular story even if the premise seems simple. How beautifully made. Real love is like this.
His love at first sight moment is so in character because instead of the usual she’s so beautiful or I have a crush on her, his was he noticed her because she was like entering a battlefield! Just how many comic books did Ung read for him to have such wild and unique thoughts 😂

The perfect way to end a perfect shot 😭❤️ I'm really going to miss my comfort couple. From a man who didn't want to draw people because he wanted to share solitude with things that didn't change to drawing what he treasures most. And Yeonsoo finally opening up and accepting the love of those around her. So smooth again with the dialogue and drawing in the same book they borrowed when they were young. Makes all the growth before it even more satisfying and I'm still having withdrawals knowing that I won't be able so see any more moments like this. Their wave at the end to us was like loving parents encouraging us to go out in the world and find something else to like. I know it'll happen eventually but for now I'll continue missing them 🥺
The writers are so confident in their story and characters that they don't even need to show the actual proposal -- the visuals right before, and the words are enough.

Great drama! Refreshing! There was no overdramatic conflicts and antagonists, just a bunch of people overcoming challenges in life and depending on one another for strength and growth. Plus, V's ost was so good!
