Bighit is really smart in trying to give TXT a unique concept amidst all of the boy groups this days, doing the cliche dark, sexy, cool concepts. One of the worst feelings is when you see everyone else talking to each other and you start talking with them and then everyone chooses to ignore you. They know you’re their but they decide to pretend you’re not. I go through that all the time and it’s hurtful. So this video really relates to me.

Telescope may have some meaning as it shows up frequently. Yeonjun has the telescope first. Soobin is always trying to grab the attention of the other members. Soobin ends up with the telescope that Yeonjun had before. There are four dots of light around Soobin at 2:14 (maybe they represent the other members?) First Morse Code plays, then the second Morse Code. Cat eyes at 3:01. Could Soobin be trying to save the members from the thing at 3:01? Soobin is cautious so maybe he doesn't want to scare the members from 3:17 ? Glass box?? After 3 years, I still don't know Korean. Now there are two lights left at 4:27. MOA, this is not a drill. The camera goes around the table showing each the members talking to each other till Soobin is ignored and then is at the far end of the table. When he tries to got to his members he gets trapped in a glass box. He starts trying to get out until he gives up and just stares outwards. It could mean being alone in a difficult situation and feeling trapped in your head not being able to share with anyone, so he breaks down. In the end it say "save me", maybe like save him from the pain of keep everything in (or the glass box is promoting quarantine and the table is promoting self distancing) The Morse code is: "Save me" and "SOS"

It seems like they're stuck in space or Neverland forever. Neverland: Everyone seems so abnormally happy like their having fun, but only soobin notices. No one ages, regardless of the title "Eternal", eternal happiness and life, just like the lost boys. As Soobin starts to investigate, he gets trapped for his actions. Like how Peter used to kill the children who tried to runaway. It seems like Neverland to me, the past videos seem to hint to it also, even the songs TXT debuted with. The main songs TXT debuted with are happy, but as you can see, only in the beginning. TXT start to question their surroundings and the whole theme changes..... Plus, in Run Away, they are wearing their school uniforms, signifying youth.

my theory: what if the others didn’t survive magic island and soobin is the only one left imagining the others because he can not accept the truth that they are dead (the 4 lights) basically meaning the others are ghosts or something else and he starts to realize that. that’s why he was in that glass box and thats why it’s eternity (endless, timeless) because to him it seems like there’s no end. he’s trying to find a way out but so far there’s not a way. i have no clue what the cat eyes mean tho.

I skipped on watching the comeback trailers until the release of the album so that I would be completely surprised. I woke up at 4am and stayed up replaying Eternally until I had to take my AP exam. This album was the best motivation I could have asked for. 💜💜💜
I already mentioned this earlier in a comment to someone else, but I figure more people can see it if it’s a separate comment. The op said that the table looked like a solar system and I agree it does remind me of the orbits as well. Then I thought abt if the members were all different planets and I immediately associated Soobin with Pluto. When Pluto was first discovered, humans weren’t as familiar with space as we are now. Humans didn’t realize that there were tons of dwarf planets, so at the beginning they called Pluto a planet. Then as the human grasp of space expands (like the table) humans realize that space is big, and the dwarf planets rly aren’t that significant. If Soobin is like Pluto then as the table and their dreams expand Soobin might not be seen as significant. Not significant as in txt member, because he is very significant, but I mean significant as in friend. As their responsibilities grow (with the table and dreams and concept of space) Soobin becomes a less significant friend, until he is basically left out and ignored (just like Pluto when humans revoked its title of planet)

*This trailer is really hitting home run for me.* During my school days I made some of the greatest friends, including my best friend. I was so happy to finally have found real friends, and someone who I can talk to about anything! One day I fell really ill, I got diagnosed with multiple disabilities and illnesses. Going to school became a chore, I couldn’t go out anymore, I couldn’t even leave my house. I stayed in touch with my friends but it always felt like I just wasn’t there, a sort of isolation. Now they are all in college, the same college too. They see each other everyday and are constantly talking on campus. And I’m still here, locked up in my house and just slowly feeling like I’m losing touch, I love them all so much but it seems like their so far from reach. I have so many things to work through and I make obstacles for myself. And seeing Soobin try to cross that table dividing him from the rest of the members only to get stuck in a glass box, that metaphor really feels like what I’m going through...

This honestly was so painful to watch. There is many ways to interrupt this video... But, for me... This really made me want to cry. I felt this deeply. I grew up an outcast. I spent lunch periods mostly watching people talk and play games and I always tried to get involved. Talk to someone or even play a game with someone but, the harder I tried. The more people seemed to be further away. It felt like I was truly trapped in a box. A tight space and it was suffocating and there was no one to help to ease the pain for many years. People came and go in my life and while it gave me the inside look on things they were mostly people that just increased my suffocation. And as a person born with a learning disability it didn't help my chances of friend making.... Or the fact that I was in lesser classes... And to me I rather be an outcast but, be on a career path. It felt suffocating because I didn't want to be like everyone else. So the lyric "Determined by fate to play the role of the everyman." I never just wanted to be the everyman. Nor do I want the fate determined me to be that. I think this will be one of my favorite comebacks. And I have been here since the very beginning and they have all been my favorite. But, this darker concept I feel like will help put these things I felt were lesser of me way behind me. Thank you TXT for showing me happiness and helping me through so many things that always lay uneasy in me.

So here's my theory: the table they were sitting at reminds me of a universe. It was once small so they were able to talk and play with each other easily. However, over time their "universe" grew bigger and they grew further apart and Soobin got left alone. When he looks at the boys, we see the blue and green-eyed calico cat in the background whose intentions aren't clear. The cat could be trying to hurt them or punish them as it did in the Magic Island mv. Maybe Soobin wants to save them so he tries to cross the "universe" but that isn't allowed, so to speak. As a result, Soobin seems to get trapped in the middle of what could be time and space. Edit: After looking at some other theories, I feel like this could also be a broader representation of adolescent relationships and friendships. Over time, people drift apart and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it, like Soobin when he's trapped in the box. If the MAGIC concept trailer is often termed innovative for TXT because of the projection use, then the ETERNITY concept trailer has to be the most emotive for TXT because of the sheer heaviness of the theme.
THE FACT THAT SOOBIN CAN JUST COME AND MAKE ME CRY WITH HIS ACTING I´M- Seeing soobin cry made me realise that this boys are literaly some of the most important people in my life, as soon as I saw Soobin´s desperate face and teary eyes my eyes went teary too
notice how when soobin gets on the table he finds him self blocked by a glass box? at first it seems like he is fully trapped/enclosed and cant escape so he keeps banging and screaming for help, however a few shots later we see that hes not enclosed. theres only 3 sides to the box ,we see that he takes a slight step back and this kinda suggests that no one is trapping him , no one from the group is pushing him away , hes the one thats blindly refusing to step out and go around the box , its like hes protecting himself from their rejection by acting like he cant get out, because he may be at fault.The box almost looks like its shielding him away from the outside world.

What I've observed: The way the table is set up at 0:27 looks like our solar system (they're building the TXT Universe). Telescope may have some meaning as it shows up frequently. Yeonjun has the telescope first. Soobin is always trying to grab the attention of the other members. Soobin ends up with the telescope that Yeonjun had before. There are four dots of light around Soobin at 2:14 (maybe they represent the other members?) First Morse Code plays, then the second Morse Code. Cat eyes at 3:01. Could Soobin be trying to save the members from the thing at 3:01? Soobin is cautious so maybe he doesn't want to scare the members from 3:17 ? Glass box?? After 3 years, I still don't know Korean. Now there are two lights left at 4:27.

The camera goes around the table showing each the members talking to each other till Soobin is ignored and then is at the far end of the table. When he tries to got to his members he gets trapped in a glass box. He starts trying to get out until he gives up and just stares outwards.
It could mean being alone in a difficult situation and feeling trapped in your head not being able to share with anyone, so he breaks down. In the end it say "save me", maybe like save him from the pain of keep everything in

No one ages, regardless of the title "Eternal", eternal happiness and life, just like the lost boys. As Soobin starts to investigate, he gets trapped for his actions. Like how Peter used to kill the children who tried to runaway. It seems like Neverland to me, the past videos seem to hint to it also, even the songs TXT debuted with. The main songs TXT debuted with are happy, but as you can see, only in the beginning. TXT start to question their surroundings and the whole theme changes..... Plus, in Run Away, they are wearing their school uniforms, signifying youth.

In this trailer there are more theories than anything in here:
- Soobin's "SAVE ME" Maybe this can refer on how he is left behind by the others members?
- Those "eyes" on the background. Those eyes could be of the cat on Nap of a star and also the lights of the train in Magic Island
- Soobin has a lock collar around his neck. Is he already trap before he was inside the glass container?
- Soobin is trap by the glass wall while the others are enjoying their company.
- While the trailer was showing how the members were together, Soobin started to separate from the others, and also the table was starting to get bigger and bigger, to the point of separating Soobin and the members.
- The lyrics of the song could indicate the story of the comeback.

I already mentioned this earlier in a comment to someone else, but I figure more people can see it if it’s a separate comment. The op said that the table looked like a solar system and I agree it does remind me of the orbits as well. Then I thought abt if the members were all different planets and I immediately associated Soobin with Pluto. When Pluto was first discovered, humans weren’t as familiar with space as we are now. Humans didn’t realize that there were tons of dwarf planets, so at the beginning they called Pluto a planet. Then as the human grasp of space expands (like the table) humans realize that space is big, and the dwarf planets rly aren’t that significant. If Soobin is like Pluto then as the table and their dreams expand Soobin might not be seen as significant. Not significant as in txt member, because he is very significant, but I mean significant as in friend. As their responsibilities grow (with the table and dreams and concept of space) Soobin becomes a less significant friend, until he is basically left out and ignored (just like Pluto when humans revoked its title of planet)

During my school days I made some of the greatest friends, including my best friend. I was so happy to finally have found real friends, and someone who I can talk to about anything! One day I fell really ill, I got diagnosed with multiple disabilities and illnesses. Going to school became a chore, I couldn’t go out anymore, I couldn’t even leave my house. I stayed in touch with my friends but it always felt like I just wasn’t there, a sort of isolation. Now they are all in college, the same college too. They see each other everyday and are constantly talking on campus. And I’m still here, locked up in my house and just slowly feeling like I’m losing touch, I love them all so much but it seems like their so far from reach. I have so many things to work through and I make obstacles for myself. And seeing Soobin try to cross that table dividing him from the rest of the members only to get stuck in a glass box, that metaphor really feels like what I’m going through...

Here I'm as a new MOA of 2021,trying to connect the redline of all concept of each era. It gives me chill, how all the story are really related.
This honestly was so painful to watch. There is many ways to interrupt this video... But, for me... This really made me want to cry. I felt this deeply. I grew up an outcast. I spent lunch periods mostly watching people talk and play games and I always tried to get involved. Talk to someone or even play a game with someone but, the harder I tried. The more people seemed to be further away. It felt like I was truly trapped in a box. A tight space and it was suffocating and there was no one to help to ease the pain for many years. People came and go in my life and while it gave me the inside look on things they were mostly people that just increased my suffocation.
And as a person born with a learning disability it didn't help my chances of friend making.... Or the fact that I was in lesser classes... And to me I rather be an outcast but, be on a career path. It felt suffocating because I didn't want to be like everyone else. So the lyric "Determined by fate to play the role of the everyman." I never just wanted to be the everyman. Nor do I want the fate determined me to be that.
I think this will be one of my favorite comebacks. And I have been here since the very beginning and they have all been my favorite. But, this darker concept I feel like will help put these things I felt were lesser of me way behind me.
Thank you TXT for showing me happiness and helping me through so many things that always lay uneasy in me.

So here's my theory: the table they were sitting at reminds me of a universe. It was once small so they were able to talk and play with each other easily. However, over time their "universe" grew bigger and they grew further apart and Soobin got left alone. When he looks at the boys, we see the blue and green-eyed calico cat in the background whose intentions aren't clear. The cat could be trying to hurt them or punish them as it did in the Magic Island mv. Maybe Soobin wants to save them so he tries to cross the "universe" but that isn't allowed, so to speak. As a result, Soobin seems to get trapped in the middle of what could be time and space.
Edit: After looking at some other theories, I feel like this could also be a broader representation of adolescent relationships and friendships. Over time, people drift apart and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it, like Soobin when he's trapped in the box. When he begins crying and asking for help, it also shows how we tend to suffer alone and in silence.

Seeing soobin cry made me realise that this boys are literaly some of the most important people in my life, as soon as I saw Soobin´s desperate face and teary eyes my eyes went teary too

notice how when soobin gets on the table he finds him self blocked by a glass box? at first it seems like he is fully trapped/enclosed and cant escape so he keeps banging and screaming for help, however a few shots later we see that hes not enclosed. theres only 3 sides to the box ,we see that he takes a slight step back and this kinda suggests that no one is trapping him , no one from the group is pushing him away , hes the one thats blindly refusing to step out and go around the box , its like hes protecting himself from their rejection by acting like he cant get out, because he may be at fault.The box almost looks like its shielding him away from the outside world.
