Fantastic performance! We had the pleasure of featuring Nick with this routing as the main act at the grand finale of Miss Russian California and he totally stole the show! Although I do have to agree with Gee's comment below, Nick was such a BIG hit among the ladies that I was afraid the contestants would slip taking the stage after his act.
Oh my goodness, that bit of holding the wheel in the air and then flipping through it. Definitely some non-standard acrobatics in the midst on the waltzes!
You are an absolutely incredible, talented human being. God, some people are capable of unbelievably amazing things. (and then I'm over here unable to walk up the stairs without falling on my face)
The tricks are masterful and lovely, but i find it difficult to unify them into the single artistic whole i'm longing for. Should i see the wheel as something that confines and oppresses the performer? Something that liberates and lifts him up? A friend? A part of his body as he struggles with something else? What feelings should i feel while watching this, beyond "oh wow, i couldn't do that"? The cyr wheel has the potential to go beyond acrobatics into dance when approached more emotionally; i don't see performers go there often, but when they do, it takes the art from impressive to breathtaking.
Love this i want to learn this but i can see it requires strength and flexibility. And time ability to not be dizy respest for you this should be recognise
