How To Export Minecraft Bedrock Skins!

Yes, you can export skins out of Minecraft Bedrock! Copying, editing, and saving skins with Bedrock is normally quite tricky. After much trial and error however, there is indeed a super simple way to export your Bedrock skins! This method can be done in just a couple of minutes and will work with any Bedrock platform as long as you are able to connect to custom servers. This is also a great way to get the Bedrock and Java versions of your character to have the same skin!
The test server we used is test.geysermc.org.

Thanks a lot!! at first it gave me the error, "Unable to find user in our cache. Please try specifying their Floodgate UUID instead". But I just needed to wait around 5-10 mins inside the server then tried again and this time it worked!

if a player were to purchase one of the skin packs in the Bedrock store- because that texture already exists in the store and doesn't have to be on the player, is there a way to pull the texture ID from the store instead?
That may seem like a weird question, but I'm trying to get a copy of a friend's skin they got from the bedrock marketplace and they aren't a fan of connecting to a random test server, even though I showed them it should be safe. My only other thought is buy the skin myself, but I'm hoping there is another way around that first?

I got a bit of a problem with mt fiancé's skin, it doesn't show the arms and legs. We would like to be using the same skin in Minecraft and he's edit his hair again using short hair once I've been able to get the skin somehow. When I try to go to the server, it says : "This server does not support Java Edition 1.20.5, which is required for Geyser to connect. The server needs to update or have the ViaVersion plugin installed. Original disconnect message : Outdated server! I'm still on 1.19.4" Note : I'm on Minecarft Bedrock 1.20.81. Thanks for the tutorial. Unfortunately it does not work with higher resolution skins (I got blurry image). This got me wondering how my current skin looks for Java clients and... I don't know if it was randomly chosen - but it is completely different skin from I get from Geyser API. It is also different frow what it is in Bedrock client.
