You’re wrong. Pretty sure if you did a live stream of AEnima you get a killer turn out. I’d be there. You would get a lot out of it too. We would fill in the blanks. OK man love your channel.
Was about to say the same thing... Lateralus is probably the best for this, however Aenima would be my second choice since you have reacted to less from that album. I think you would be surprised how many views you would get.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would totally watch you do a whole album reaction. Especially if it's an album you've already heard a lot of tracks from. So awesome watching the look on people's faces when they hear another new tool song and realize it another piece of perfection. The satisfaction and pure amazement on their face gets me every time.
I watch many (way too many) reaction channels. But damn Jim, your reactions and insight are light years better than the rest. Thanks for being "you." Cheers!
I can see your brain trying to make out the time signatures in the instrumental break :) How you can stop yourself from diving into an entire discography once getting a taste of Tool is beyond me, but I thank you for having such self-control. Made my day. Thanks, Jim.
I’ve been waiting for this!!! Edit (now that I’ve watched it): 1) as a 40 year old woman, I hereby give you permission to say “mankind” without having to justify it. It’s fine. Not sexist to say it. 2) I love the look of joy and contentment on your face as you listen. It perfectly represents how I feel when I listen. 3) I’d watch your whole album review! When my grandfather passed, there was so much fighting over whom got his property. In the end; the property was divided in two and given half to myself and half to my brother. Even with the death of family; we 'Silly Monkeys' fought instead of mourned.
Solid break down! "Right in two," as a concept, is also a reference to our self-defeating attachment to binaries. Rather than seeing the whole of something, we start picking it apart into categories. There's a usefulness in naming, but look what we've done with it (especially in terms of us v them, me v you, mine v yours, right v wrong, man v woman, black v white, etc). But life (and the universe) is ever moving, ever evolving, animate and conscious and made up of multiplicities across overlapping lifetimes. Our effort to create clear delineations causes us to obsess over fears of loss--loss of a preferred "piece," or whatever it is we most identify with. (And splitting the atom for massive destructive power, when we never needed to split it in the first place.)

Abiogenesis (Vizualize)
