James Low talks about his latest book "This is it - Revealing the Great Completion".
James Low is a disciple and teacher in the Byangter and Khordong lineages of the late Chhimed Rigdzin Lama. He began studying and practising Tibetan Buddhism in India in the 1960’s and received teachings from Kalu Rinpoche, Chatral Rinpoche, Kanjur Rinpoche and Dudjom Rinpoche. Having met his root teacher, Chhimed Rigdzin Lama (also known as C R Lama), he lived in his home in West Bengal, India for many years, serving him as required and being taught many aspects of the tradition. During this period in India James did several retreats and pilgrimages in the Himalayas. In the 1970’s and 1980’s, on his return to Europe, he also had teachings and guidance from Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche.
The texts in this volume were all translated while James was living with his teacher CR Lama in Santiniketan, West Bengal. It has taken over forty years for many of them to see the light of day.
During that time they have been revised and refined and now is the time to make them available. The arrangement of the texts is designed to promote a direct encounter with the development of the depth and focus of Buddhist teaching.

After a spontaneous kundalini awakening, a myriad of mystical experiences have occurred culminating in a spontaneous revelation of the true nature of mind as can only be described by the definition of Rigpa.
I know nothing other than a general knowledge of Buddhism and Non-Duality as these events happened most unexpectedly 3 years ago.
So all I do is sit quietly and watch for about an hour daily. Although I’m not interested in experiences they happen. I feel I’ve reached the “end game” so to speak. Is this a correct assumption or is Rigpa a sort of initiation so to speak?

...and so what? To achieve anything you need not only a teacher but also initiations, which most people have not received and will not receive, for ordinary people there are only prayers and promises of paradise, just like in the religions of the desert
