- Friends, today I’m sharing with you this performance of Raga Madhuvanti that was recorded for the Nadachakra Digital Dhrupad Festival which was taking place beginning of this year.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in India where the 2nd wave of the pandemic is raging in an shattering scale. Wherever you are in this world please take care to not get infected or spread the infection. Do whatever you can to support those who need help. Together we will go through this. 🙏🙏🙏

After listening around UA-cam for a long while, I can say that your veena is by far the most responsive, with the most sustain I've heard on the platform. Not to mention it's beautiful construction would make any museum's instrument curator go into a fit a obsession trying to get one. Talk about attention to detail! 😍
Thanks for noticing those details. Even this recording was not the best in terms of sound recording, being done under lockdown conditions at home. Hope for some better samples of what these instruments can deliver in the coming days.
But yes, when you work more than 10 years on not a small serial of not even 10 instruments you want to get out something (special). Overton rich sound with a long sustain and full bass has been one of the aims, beside easy playability and an equally refined finishing. Yes, these instruments would be a great catch for any instrument museum, though I want to make sure they all end up in capable hands who will of course play them.

@@RudraVeenaappreciate your work on bass, as i also look for the real rudra veena sound which plays like anhad sound you are making it best but yet more to come.. I think bass with thunder effect.. Which signifies the sound of rudra.. Really i mean you can make the real raaudra effect on rudra veena which i haven't found yet
@@amardeepdixit1 sure always working on bringing the sound of the Veena better across. Regarding the capturing of the bass the last recording was definitely a stepping up. But we will improve it even more, hopefully in the next recording...
