If I were a film-maker, I would first think of Royksopp for my soundscapes and soundtracks. These masterly sounds and rhythms fit perfectly with the visual art on display. I'm 41, very fond of aviation, and before 2023 never jumped into a plane in my life. This year I met a wonderful soul in a remote destination, and decided to go meet her. No doubt my in-flight adventures were genuinely better while listening Speed King in ALL my flights, NON-STOP. Believe it or not, turned out to be the best "flight-experience" song, and it even coincides on its lyrics a bit at times, to scary levels of profoundness. Not pun intended. Thank you Royksopp, for creating about 30 of mankind's best sound coreographies ever, including the best ever, Speed King

'Tell Him' is simply breathtaking! The kind of song you wish had been on ABBA's last album. Heart wrenching and heart filling in equal measures. Pure aural beauty.

Wow ! What an incredible last few months of waking up every day almost to yet another Royksopp track released 😍. Having been a fan from melody a.m days to the understanding, Royksopp's night out, Back to mine, Royksopp through to junior with the outstanding Happy up here, girl and the robot it doesnt feel like around the millennium but it was , so 20 plus years a huge fan. Senior next an instrumental album man haha there are not many bands around who can produce an instrumental album and make a huge success of it, brilliant once more, a complete change of pace. Running to the sea one side and something In my heart on the other, and late night tales. What came next was awesome, back with an almighty bang , Do it again with Robyn ( great choices for collaberations) and monument showed just how much there still was to come from royksopp . So upon hearing the inevitable end would be the last album though would still release music had me feeling wounded that it was the inevitable end and the realisation that there might be life without new royksopp music In it was pretty sobering bordering on traumatic tbh, but bounty hunter and especially the never ever track once again with super vocalist susanne sundfor really gave me faith this wasnt the end. Then came the lost tapes ( not lost to me personally many) but did make me rediscover superb tracks and hear them in a different light given the time that had elapsed. I think I began to believe again that Royksopp had not reached the end but an inevitable re-imagining when royksopp released the shakedown remix of Eple 👌 asking the teaser question " what comes next?" At the end of the shakedown. Now I'm so happy , with so many different tracks covering many genres that I can just immerse myself in. Profound mysteries with tracks like the ladder, impossible with goldfrapp ( another ace collaboration like with so many before), I had no idea there would be a profound mysteries II and hearing jamie irresistible again with royksopp and karen Harding and these tracks appearing daily was like finding pure magic dust. To top all of this Profound mysteries 1 and 2 now I know theres going to be a 3rd profound mysteries in around 3 months time I'm positively salivating ( if there is such a thing) in anticipation, I wait for the build up and then " let's do it again ". Some of the recent profound stuff is right up there with some of the best of royksopp music I've ever heard. I cant wait for profound mysteries III because long story short puff ball shrooms is , Royksopp? What Else Is There?
Even lying in hospital and rehabilitation with a traumatic brain injury this music pierces through and aids so much to my healing process.....at times it reminds me of the things we can just about reach for and how they just feel out of our grip.......love, dreams, youth never regained, adventures that will never be replicated even though we want them too ......dreams within dreams .....just sheer poetry .....and the visuals to go with the music proves their mastery in shining a torch within ourselves ......geniuses and thank you for using your god given talents to help and feel all emotions g x

The vocal performances are pretty great, but the instrumental ones are by far my favorite. Listening to those late at night with headphones on, alone..Somehow there's nobody out there that can accomplish the same as this duo for me.

I am in the perfect generation. Where I get to experience creative masterminds create incredible works of art. I found these from Little Big Planet 2 instrumental of Vision One, and I cannot stop agreeing to myself that they are the best. I just can't believe I would be in a world without them ever since. It's just soooooo damn good. One day I was playing music in the car for my 50 year old dad. I was listening to the Lost Tapes for the first alongside him and when Alpha Male (Live) it was incredibly majestic. Thank You so much Röyksopp, you deserve so much more in my eyes and ears.
