I am so pleased at the way you are patient with Genny. Obviously her early life was traumatic. Instead of maturing into a normal horse she is still a child. I love you Genny. Millie Ann your love for Genny is so perfect.
So nice seeing you support her safe a slow exploration of the barn - - obviously she NEEDS your friendly coaxing and company to take her next steps and to chip away at her fear of new things due to her bad treatment earlier in life. She Will Get There - - and You are A Blessed Person for Opening THAT CARING SHARING PATIENT DOOR for Her. Much Love and Appreciation for ALL YOU DO. Take Good Care. XO
Well nice to see I’m not the only one who can’t convince a horse to do everything we ask & get them to stop stealing hay-treats. Ours are good at that .. 😂🙏🏼 have a blessed and wonderful day ! ❤ 2 Genny
Oh she looks so relaxed and had time to figure out that there is a 🚜 so why horse had to work so hard. There is also a car...and yummy hay. How interesting place..not so bad at all. It was so lovely to see that exploring session..no hurry anymore, because she trusts you now. 🎉for both of you❤
Sounds like she has a little pony friend who is calling out to her as she comes outside? Thanks for doing things at her speed and with encouragement and praise.❤
@ I have seen the same behavior (on youtube clips) from other former Amish horses. What happened to them in the barn that they don’t wanna go back inside them even once they leave that environment? It’s so sad. 🥴 it’s like they don’t wanna go in any other barn again because of what happened to them where they used to live and I just wanna know what it was.🥴
I love how patient you are with this beautiful girl. You are building a lifelong bond. All those little steps are huge ones. It's good that you are letting her go at her own pace and rewarding her so frequently. Just what she needs. She really loves you and trusts you. ❤❤❤
Dear Millie Ann....another beautiful video with a life lesson showing your love and patience with Genny and the analogy that we need to trust in God's gentle leading in our lives. and yes!! sometimes we need to accept the 'harness of His Love' to gently move us forward. God Bless your kindness and life lessons that you are sharing with Genny!
I love how you relate her life experiences to the love letter from Father. I subscribed because of that. Another wonderful man of God that deals with horses is Todd Pierce with Riding High Ministries. I don’t even own a horse nor did I ever ride but there is such a truth about how horses behave and how humans behave. Thank you sister, God bless you and Ginny.🙋♀️🙏❤️. PS, those hay flakes look scrumptious to her
@@millieannthesassycowgirl I not sure either re setting it up perhaps if you UA-cam it it will direct you I know its a way people can donate to your chanel
What a beauty! Yes, she's very brave being curious about everything and you're allowing her the time she needs. I love the belgians and so does a good friend of mine who also got one from a rescue before she was going to slaughter. Another one from the Amish who basically used them up early on and then throw them away because they can't do business like that. Hers had to be sedated to even touch her feet for a very long time and eventually overcame the fear Of having her feet done. It looks like you're doing a wonderful job and you've got a diamond in the rough. Look a forward to following you😊
Thank you!! Yes, it is taking some time with her hooves. I wish ppl were more understanding of what it’s like working with a horse that’s been abused. Genny, was also used up. It’s heartbreaking that they just become discardable. I’m so happy you are her!
I am happy she is with you. I am in Tasmania Australia and there is one Amish family in this island in the country. I do not know if they have horses. Sounds tragic what happens to ex Amish horses and Amish horses.
I love the way you allow her to overcome her fears at her own pace.
🥰❤️

I love these big kids too often they are treated horrible
Yes they are.
Tough stuff pulling them thru.
Lots of time and patience.
I think Genny is smart
Very smart.
But mom why can’t I have that hay?
❤️you have the very same hay in the rack. This is for later. 😂
She said hay tons and tons of hay all for me.
😂
💕

Yes! It is tragic.
Thinking she is more scared of the camera person then of the barn. And not used to tge gentle approach she has to learn that too
She is not afraid of the camera or the person
I watch Ryan Rose horse trainer on youtube. Have you seen him?❤
Yes I have seen a few of his videos.
Horses know they are prey. Not raised with love, care & and confidence, their survival is top reasoning. With you she fears nothing, just curious.
🥳❤️
Theses horses have large feet
Yes they do.
Horse are amazing creatures
Yes they are!
