I am going to Verandah as part of a group of 13 to celebrate a friends 50th bday in January (we are all also from ct!). My first time to Antigua or an all inclusive so finding this series of videos was really helpful!!! A few questions if you don't mind 1. the property seemed pretty quiet most of the time? Was this because of the time of year you were there? Will they be equipped to handle a larger group? For example it seemed like there was one person at the pizza place...if the 13 of us swarm there at same time for lunch will we overwhelm them? 2. We will be there during the NFL playoffs for several of us (myself included) it will be pretty important to watch some of the games. Since it is called a "sports bar" I am assuming there are TV's there that will have sports on? 3. do the bars/property have any specialty/must try cocktails? 3. Obviously for a group of our size to eat dinner anywhere other than buffet we will want a reservation, but any other suggestions/tips for a large group? Thank you in advance
Hi Charles, your group will be treated just fine! Typically most resorts do not allow large groups to sit all together at dinner because a large table is loud and can cause a disturbance to other guests, so you will have to see at check in what they say about you dining together. 4-6 people is normally the max, but I can’t speak to what they do here because I didn’t ask and I didn’t see any larger tables. The sports bar and the coffee shop will show sports. Have fun!
