Nicks recollection of paintball matches & points from years ago is impressive. We are lucky to have so many long tenured “face of the game” athletes that stick around in this sport like these three & many more.
Jason needs to go onto a live show I know he doesn’t want to but he’s in charge of field layout and rules so he should. I’ve heard him talk on older derder series and he seems to be well spoken
26:00 this could have been a sponsored Hormesis 1v1 & gear demo area. 1:11:44 cast iron over a gas stove. You can test the meat by touch. He likes medium steak. wtf man that's overcooked. Mlkings must have spent all the good at practice bc they got taken to Brokeback Mountain by Blast Camp.
Yo, I heard yall mention breaking down this layout for the nxl coming up. Did yall post it somewhere? Would love to hear yalls thoughts on this layout for Atlantic City!
We should have the head referee announce the penalties after a point on a microphone. ESPN viewers are going to be confused. Even players want to know why a penalty happened. It should be announced like in the NFL. Second part: If there was one minute left in the match, how would you handle major penalties in the two point format? It would be a swing point and only award the team 1 point. Teams could get robbed of potential sub-minute 2 point wins because their opponent drew a major on purpose. For example if it’s 1 vs 5, go get a major and you only concede 1 swing point and 2 bodies versus 2. Maybe make major penalty swing points award 2 points instead of just 1.
This may be unpopular, i think the goal of TV is out dated. I asked everyone in my company if they had cable, 4 did and they were older folks. The vast majority of people stream hulu, netflix etc, some DO have ESPN but are not watching live unless its something they are already invested in. Going after TV made sense when people turned it on and it stayed on til the channel was changed. The hope has been that NEW people would catch it and stay and watch. This simply is not the way modern life is. The people who would stream it on ESPN would already watch GoSports or youtube. That said i will seek out the ocho show to support the cause ….but network TV is not the way to go. And , if we want to showcase OUR sport changing the format to benefit casual viewers is just ridiculous. TV will not grow the sport as much as putting money into local fields.we hear on PTG all the time that its booming and bigger than ever…. Got here without TV .Texas finals start today as i am posting, good luck in AC guys!
