- Just something I have run into and a simple trick to keep from ruining your peice and have to start over.
Its pretty simple but since I was doing it and had the camera there I thought I would post it.
I tried to edit it down so its not too long but Im still learning to simplify the videos to be shorter but I have this problem that I over explain stuff (lol) and dont take the time to plan out what I want to say in the video and basiclly do it on the fly so I have to cut the clip a bit to get rid of all my rambling.. Bear with me Ill get better with time haha
Im in class learning the trigonometry of how to get the length to come out exact on multiple bends. At work, i kinda dont care, you know. I can just choke it up in the bender and cut off the excess, but at home... you and I both know what a stick of .120 wall DOM cost. Every inch counts. and the math is way easier then I though it was going to be. Anything I can learn to make me a better craftsman is a good thing!
dude, I love your videos..please keep them coming...I'm a machinist and want to build my own custom hard tail frame, would like to see a video on the machining of the rear axle plates. and how would I know what size they should be..also some tips on building a jig to build my frame..thanks brother
Ah I see what you were saying, yes you are correct in both post as it would be easier to choke up on it in almost all cases but yeah in this case this just helps simplify it doing a bit of metal rigging
Nice tip bro.
ah never mind. I understand now. its a compound bend on a set length of tube. awesome man. I wish we could do tha ton conduit.
Great videos I love learning and seeing how it's made keep it up more and more people will come
Clamping the tube to the die works, too. Just be sure to spray a little wd40 on the follower to ease all the drag.
Which metal tubing is used to build chopper motorcycles
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
Love this clever stuff.
hey man, Im curious. I's am apprentice electrician and I get to screw up a lot of conduit learning how to bend tube (which is awesome because I love to build bikes at home. ) why wouldnt you just push the pipe into the die so it doesnt come out, then just bandsaw the end off instead of the work to machine the stainless, and weld then bend, cut, etc... thanks!
Yo Bro, keep at it love the vids. Have you thought about doing a complete frame fabrication series, step by step. Maybe both hard tail and soft. That would be great!
What manufacture of bender is that?
I dont know if you still receive alerts for messages but i am wondering what type of tube bender this is and where you got it?
martinezbrotherslost its a eneco bender. Purchased from trick tools. I think it’s tricktools.com
@@MetalShopVlogs thank uou
ineco is the maker of the bender
@Todd04041951 Interesting, you should send me one of your books to do a review on
Dude you have to make more videos
