Any chance you have any shots of a guy kneeboarding or bodysurfing in that area (Hammerland/Breakwall/$hitpipe particularly)? If so...Chances are good that it's me. I'd be stoked to see any of my waves, that are in your "trim" pile...
@@BradJacobson - oh well - It was worth a try. I tend to do Breakwall on low tides and bigger days - Westerly angles preferred. But I travel a bit, too - N.County LA and Ventura have some spotz that also fire on those conditions, as well. And this year (el nino) I spent a month or more in Santa Cruz and chasing Mavericks (Bodysurfed the left - at "real" size twice), so I can understand why we didn't cross paths. If by Hermosa you mean Breakwall - then it's a near certainty it's me - otherwise, about 0% probability. Hammerland is a lot of work - and crowded when good... So I tend to dodge the times when people are filming out there. Thanks for the response... I'll make an effort to 'get the shot' in future... imgflip.com/i/1j6c0g imgflip.com/i/23svlk imgflip.com/i/1dbj58 imgflip.com/i/2g7jcm
More specifically the southern portion of the Santa Monica Bay, Los Angeles. I think most non-locals automatically think Bay Area when South Bay, CA is referenced.
We wish we could use more "popular" music but it's very expensive and they hold copyright regulations to use them. It use to be easier to use any music you'd like.
@@BradJacobson This wasn't so much a complaint against this video. As most of the surf videos today. There is a lot of great music out there on soundcloud etc. Old surf vids didn't have "popular" music. But maybe I'm just getting old.
@@BradJacobson Glad you understand. I do get it in viddies with one's friends and all ...but that's for "home movie" formats. Also helps impart mood of course, but to often the art is better left to artists ; -)
Awesome video! You managed to make a short (but rad) surf movie all based in the South Bay! Nicely done.
Thanks
this is one of the better surf videos ive seen in a minute
Really enjoyed this - thanks for posting.
Great job as usual Brad. Loved your movie. You are very talented!!!
Thanks Marci!

South Bay, California? Doesn't say where.
Yes, South Bay California.

Wtf... why do 90% of all new surf videos have crappy music? It used to be zero.

@@F0rtysxity Totally understand.
Why do you show people on the beach and all that non-wave crap. Nobody wants to see that junk. But the waves are great.
Hahahaha, love the feedback!

43 minutes of slow motion? Pass.
