Darn right hankaboy. Rhonda came on to the scene at the same time as myself. I loved her music and sweet/authentic country voice ever since. Look it up on the Gavin Report, I believe it was back in 1988 or around there. I'm Marcus Dean.
I have said it a million times there is no one that can sing as great as this Lady...Take an old Jones song and sing it just about as good as he use to....Great job Rhonda
Wow! There just aren't words to describe just how fantastic this pairing of Rhonda Vincent and Mike Johnson sounds! Also, an outstanding job on the harmony and backup band.
First time I watched this performance it brought tears to my eyes. Rhonda's voice gives me the impression that she has torn her heart out for this performance and she is backed up in both harmony and music by an incredible line up. Everything about this performance by everyone involved, including the sound engineer, and whoever shot the video footage, is outstanding. Rhonda's microphone technique is also outstanding here as she gauges her distance from it perfectly to balance her vocals for consistency. The sign of a professional. This performance alone prompted me to be an instant fan.
There’s just simply no one better than Mike Johnson sitting at a pedal steel guitar ever… Paul Franklin’s a razor sharply close second, but no one else comes close…
God Rhonda Vincent is one beautiful sexy lady. And she has a voice to for. I love to watch her perform and listen to her sang. Wow she takes my breath away. 😘😘😘😎😎😎😇😇😇
Hey ronda.we never worked together, but I'm from the Hebron CT area I've worked with conny smith, Jan howard, Wilma and stoney cooper I remember thier little daughter carlol Lee back in wheeling . However that that isn't why I'm writing. I know you enjoy the sometimes bazaar stories that make up our music this is long, but don't know how to find out something, ok? Many years ago, ( and this was long after I moved my family to the Hebron area .. Bear with me, you need this part to have one of your songs mean more... I had an uncle come down from vt to visit now uncle was kind of an outgoing guy. Fire chief in Stowe vt. For years .. When he got s to CT he stopped and asked me to come and meet him because he didn't know the area. When I asked him where he was... He said I'm standing on the corner of walk, and don't,,,. And hung the phone up. I had never heard that expression before ( about the time of being between a rock, and a hard place. Ok. Everyone got a laugh.. I'm going to say this was way back in maybe 1964... Now the rest of the story,. Don't give up on me Sometime in I'm gonna say. Maybe 2003 or so, I had an internet radio station, much like utube is now . I had a bunch of indie artists I represented at the time. Some guy contacted me about working with his wife, or girlfriend on one her songs... I told him to send it to my studio ( again right close to podunk) Lol. When I got the scratch tune dam if it wasn't. Standing at the corner, and don't walk . Well needless to say it got my attention His wife was not a good singer, so , some way or other I never did anything with it, or them . When I happens to be enjoying your music recently, dammed if you didn't do a real bang _up job on it. I almost had a heart attack Ronda if you would, would you fill in some of the blanks for this very old musician? And get back. . Also. Keep pushing and doing things you do, to help the younger people learned what w e know about our music. Your in charge now, and if you don't,how will they really know. +scales57 The Nashville Palace was taken over by Roberts Western World in July 2013, almost a year before this great show. They have a lot of great shows every day now!
+scales57 *** Hi Scales57. Ms Rhonda did an awesome job as usual.. I'm glad you posted this comment. I visited Nashville a long time ago and a guy was playing there by the name of Randy Ray. He let me get up and do a few song with his band and said nice job man. About a year later he changed his name to Randy Travis and became famous. I'm glad to hear The Nashville Palace is open again and may take a trip out just for the fun of it. Riley
Hi romnda I believe we met when we shared this song together. I am happy to say prince William has passed away as of 2024 , yes my father. This song we made with Tania tepania also known as Mercedes. My mother I Samantha Hayze. This is my friends page just passing you a the message about my daddy Maori prince. Today is Thursday 7th November.
I learned today that Tammy Wynette wrote this song.I had only heard George Jones sing it.Someone was commenting that Elvis could have sang it better than George,I disagree,I think Rhonda sings it better than anybody, alive or dead.I think George was ten times the country singer Elvis ever was.
And just think it's 2015.......... I just wish I could here this on main stream country radio. Maybe then Rhonda and Mike would make it to Idaho for a tour. Instead I'm stuck with Luke Bryon yeeeeeech!!
Perfect female country music, steel & fiddle. Not many singers in country music today can touch Rhonda or even come near... She is simply the best!
Don't forget the piano
hankaboy you got that right friend she's old school and now Daryle is gone what a tragic loss to Country music !!!!!!
Darn right hankaboy. Rhonda came on to the scene at the same time as myself. I loved her music and sweet/authentic country voice ever since. Look it up on the Gavin Report, I believe it was back in 1988 or around there. I'm Marcus Dean.
You can tell she sings for the love of music and not just the money. She really sings with passion.

I believe this performance marked the reopening of the Palace last year?
+scales57 The Nashville Palace was taken over by Roberts Western World in July 2013, almost a year before this great show. They have a lot of great shows every day now!
+Jørgen Petersen Thanx! Yeah, I knew Roberts Western World ownership, just didnt remember the time frame.....great to have it back up in gear!

She sings this song better than George Jones did🤙
Appearance the full
Leona Williams had a great cut of this song but this is other worldly as only Rhonda Vincent could perform it.
Rhonda is great, maybe greater than anyone on Radio. If George can out run the music idiots, may Rhoda will too.
Sounds like something Buck Owens would have played back in the 1960's.
It was a hit for George Jones. Early 70's I think!
And just think it's 2015.......... I just wish I could here this on main stream country radio. Maybe then Rhonda and Mike would make it to Idaho for a tour. Instead I'm stuck with Luke Bryon yeeeeeech!!

Gary Herron * that is a beautiful song ant it ?
