Sky Gamestar. Every 90's kid in the UK had at LEAST heard of this treasure. Beehive Bedlam. The only truly free game on there. Back then as a kid, unless your parents were loaded, you had to either be a rebel and pay £1 without them knowing (until the next bill came out) or do all your chores just to end up dying on the first level anyway. But this is as nostalgic as it gets for UK kids who were born in the 90's. Good God. This brought back some memories.
The memories this brings back. My late nan was massively addicted to this. I often use to turn on the TV in the mornings to find this left on at the main menu. Makes me sad in a way because she's no longer here, but have those memories of playing this along with her at time.
@@miniongamer7736 I also remember the games based on Cartoon network & Boomerang shows: Fosters home for Imaginary friends, Loony tunes, Courage the cowardly dog. And who could forget Super breakout or Word Crunch?
I used to wake up early on a Saturday morning, run down to turn the tele on, go to sky gamestar, and play this before watching Ed Edd n Eddy on Cartoon Network with a bowl of coco-pops. The early 2000s was the best era.
Makes you feel old if you remember playing this 20 odd years ago! Kids today have it easy with all their choice of games they have on their tablets and smart phones!
OH MY GOD MY CHILDHOOD 😍 Me and my family would gather around the telly in the living room playing this for hours I would play this and the Tomb Raider games religiously I miss Sky games so much 💗💗💗
was just thinking about this game as i played it on sky years ago and thought i would see if there were any gameplay vids, never expected id find the vid from you ha ha :)
It's too bad we don't get to play the rest of the great well remembered Sky Games anymore such as Fathom, Big Top Drop, Battleship, Marvin Mole, Bumble Tumble, King Tutti and Corporal Cluck. Miss playing those games, if they were to ever come back to Sky Games in the future (even though that will never happen) I'd be buzzing.
Initial Dale I had totally forgotten about all of these games until today. Now I can remember most of their names but other than Beehive Bedlam there seems to be no trace whatsoever of the others apart from a couple of tiny screenshots of king tutti. I would pay just to see a screenshot of Fathom again.
Initial Dale I miss King Tutti the most. I've sent the devs and Sky emails asking to port them to IOS or just bring them back. Everyone should if you miss them.
Betwazzled The reason why they are no longer available to play is most likely Sky had to pay licenses, royalties in order for us to play the games, the sad news is if sky has more than 2 million customers why are they not bringing these games back, only as they are interested in money, and the rubbish programming they represent...
Initial Dale I remember corporal cluck!!!!! My lil sister used to play that and I always wound her up by saying bomb whenever she landed on one of the squares and it usually always was a bomb that she’d land on and I would piss myself laughing while she’d be raging!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 aah those were good times!!!! Why did sky get rid of gamestar???? Does anyone know???? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My mum played this and I caught sight. I then tried it out myself and I was hooked. Nothing is more satisfying than using a Honey Bomb to ricochet off walls and into a big bunch of flowers.
There are 3 Sky games I've not yet seen footage on UA-cam of: - Bumble Tumble (you're a nanny bee that transports babies around the hive) - Battleships - That game where you play as an alien in a spaceship and zap animals in pairs, basically the gameplay of candy crush
The music was absolutely amazing and relaxing while I played this over my nans I always wait til all the flowers disappear and then once you get the next item and the line starts going up it always ends up with a bomb last
The time this was uploaded was exactly when i used to play it and i played it on sky games only the music gives me intensive levels of nostalgia you dont even know
This is still on SKY TV regularly. It is also available on the internet version of SKY Games as one of the only games left on there after the site moving and that one is in full HD go play it.
No one's talking about King Tutti much. That was the shit (as far as games go, silly little games). Never had Sky TV, played these games with an old friend. King Tutti and Fathom were the ones.
It’s 2002, I’m at senior school, didn’t have a mobile phone then, playing this whilst waiting for the time to get on my bike and go meet my mates in the park. Life was simple and a lot more enjoyable for that reason. P.S Poor Rishi, he doesn’t know what he’s missed out on with this.
This game is on the app store now! Damn I miss skygamestar and playjam :( if only they'd make wee wee kitty, caterpillar crunch and kurakku into an app
I remember this game fondly and see a lot of videos for it, but another game I remember well from Sky that I can't seem to find any videos for is Bumble Tumble. It was a game where you controlled a bee and had to pick up the baby bees and take them to their beds without getting caught by the guard bees. Does anyone else remember that game?
What a great game it was! If there was nothing good to watch on Sky, I would play this to pass the time. Shame that Sky Games got removed 2 years ago, but it forced people to pay to continue the games and barely anyone used it.
anyone remember the tomb raider spin-offs they had on here too :( they were the only tomb raider games i played when i was young i wish i had the chance to play them again
Sky Gamestar.

I was born in 2000 played it until sky shut it down
Hassan Hussain so u played it till you were 15 😂
was born in 2005 and damn still have some good memories about this
I was born in 2001.
1993 in the Republic of Ireland, but same.
The memories this brings back. My late nan was massively addicted to this. I often use to turn on the TV in the mornings to find this left on at the main menu. Makes me sad in a way because she's no longer here, but have those memories of playing this along with her at time.
I love the music, so much nostalgia haha
Agree
Only the OGs know this legend
I remember that sun in the top left corner when i was a baby this makes me feel so happy😥
Wod wod wod wod
I used to play this when I was little
That music. Nostalgia'd all over my keyboard.
They had these type of jokes 9 years ago damn😭🙏🏾
I feel like I’m off school ill again
To me this is coming home from school to my mum playing it. She was obsessed 😂
I miss sky games :(
Yeah
i miss sky gamestar lol
There was the ben ten game called swampfired up and the football game and tom and jerry 😭😭😭😭
Bumble Tumble and King Tutti were dope
@@miniongamer7736

Fosters home for Imaginary friends, Loony tunes, Courage the cowardly dog.
And who could forget Super breakout or Word Crunch?
This is the most 2000s thing ever. I can’t believe they had games on Sky. Feeling so nostalgic right now. Also This is basically Puzzle Bobble.
I remember the very first time me and my two sisters played these games back in 2001 I think. I still have a faint memory of it for some reason
I used to wake up early on a Saturday morning, run down to turn the tele on, go to sky gamestar, and play this before watching Ed Edd n Eddy on Cartoon Network with a bowl of coco-pops. The early 2000s was the best era.
As soon as I heard this music I wept 😢 never forget
Played this when I was lonely and unemployed back in 2000, happy times it brought me rare joy
Makes you feel old if you remember playing this 20 odd years ago! Kids today have it easy with all their choice of games they have on their tablets and smart phones!
Gone but not forgotten.
The memories just start flowing from watching this. It is probably why I can handle most games that use a gameplay style similar to this.
I was in my mid teens when I used play this game and now I'm in my late 30s. Kinda of crazy how time flys by when you think about it.
OH MY GOD MY CHILDHOOD 😍 Me and my family would gather around the telly in the living room playing this for hours I would play this and the Tomb Raider games religiously I miss Sky games so much 💗💗💗
Man I wish it was 2005 again 😢
Every couple of years I come back to listen to this to remember my youngest years, the nostalgia is something else
When there was nothing on Sky, I used to play this. I miss Sky Games
Either play this, watch Disney channel or go on personal planner and listen to the music. Oh sweet nostalgia
was just thinking about this game as i played it on sky years ago and thought i would see if there were any gameplay vids, never expected id find the vid from you ha ha :)
Loved this game played it loads
Loved the original Beehive Bedlam and always played it after school. I found it so relaxing and liked it when the seasons changed too.
Yeah it was good even if it was just a Bust a Move rip off
I miss these games :(
I used to play them when I was younger since sky first came out, I remember! Brings back memories
I used to wake up early as hell to play this game, it was so addictive. It’s gotta be 20 years later and these songs still plays in my head
Anyone remember the other games like the loony tunes ones
Bachiltons Battlegrounds yhhh and the Tom
And Jerry one
Corporal cluck
Omg yeah!! Forgot about thag
Yeah man and the rugrats
Also billy and mandy
The sun used to scare me when i was a kid lol
😂
Beehive Bedlam just reappeared on sky q, I’m happy
We got a new Sky box fitted with an updated version of this. No music, but the nostalgia hit was still there. Even mum joined in.
I remember playing that as a child.was my fav game lol 😂😂

Even porting them to XBLA and PSN would be excellent.

I've just got reminded of this game and the music is gonna make me cry so I'll not watch the whole thing lol. Wow. This takes me back to my teens.
I’m getting emotional too lmao
This takes me back to when I'd sit in my great grans living room playing this whenever i visited as a wee guy. RIP Peggy!
My mum used to play this all the time
My mum played this and I caught sight. I then tried it out myself and I was hooked. Nothing is more satisfying than using a Honey Bomb to ricochet off walls and into a big bunch of flowers.
Damn I remember this. Drained so many batteries playing this.
Was one of few games that were free to play. What a memory, the nostalgia brings mixed feelings 😢
There are 3 Sky games I've not yet seen footage on UA-cam of:
- Bumble Tumble (you're a nanny bee that transports babies around the hive)
- Battleships
- That game where you play as an alien in a spaceship and zap animals in pairs, basically the gameplay of candy crush
That battleship game was actually really fun.
Same, Bumble Tumble was my favourite and there's no gameplay or any screenshots of it anywhere!
One word
N O S T A L G I A, just pure nostalgia!
I remember getting all the way to like level 9, RIP Childhood.
Lvl 18
Lvl 21
The music was absolutely amazing and relaxing while I played this over my nans I always wait til all the flowers disappear and then once you get the next item and the line starts going up it always ends up with a bomb last
I just came for the music, just gives me back memories where my older brother would play and i'd have to watch and never got to play 😂
my gran passed away not that long ago and she use to love this game, brings back so many memories
Every 2000-2005 kids remember this 🔥
i loved this game as a kid....
I love this game wish they put it on App Store & Play store ☺️
One time they actually did release it there but for some reason you can't find it anymore
It is type in beehive bedlam on google and click install
U predicted the Future it’s out now
I used to love it at Xmas when the beehive was snowy. Great days trying to get a high score.
These games brings back childhood
Dammit I already knew how the song went years before returning
The nostalgia right now. One of the only sky games you could genuinely reply and not get bored. 😂
The time this was uploaded was exactly when i used to play it and i played it on sky games only the music gives me intensive levels of nostalgia you dont even know
Just the background music alone makes me feel the craziest Nostalgia.
Omg, my childhood.
I remember spending so much time on this when it first came out, really addictive.
This bring back happy memories. Also makes you miss your childhood so much 😅😪
This is still on SKY TV regularly. It is also available on the internet version of SKY Games as one of the only games left on there after the site moving and that one is in full HD go play it.
You can get it as an app. I’ve been playing this for days!
No one's talking about King Tutti much. That was the shit (as far as games go, silly little games). Never had Sky TV, played these games with an old friend. King Tutti and Fathom were the ones.
And RT Racer
I would very much like sky games to come as I am house bound and loved these games thank you
You have a nice second name
I miss the 21s card game :( had an awesome background music to that game fml
Why did they shut down sky games

Someone, somewhere, has managed to crack all these iconic sky games for the PC.

This music brings me back

Nah fuck the Xbox and Wii this was the og game I remember 2013 playing this on mornings before school and on sundays damn I want to be younger

Anyone here because of Rishi Sunak?
lol yeah I am. Sunak was missing out on this banger of a game.
What did he say?
I could listen to this music all day long. Someone make a 24 hour virsion!
I remember getting to like level 90 I miss this soo much

Ah the memories of 2002-03, back when I was 5!
You can still play this game today on Sky Q, but there won’t be any music or sounds anymore.
You can play it while watching TV too.
Great memories playing this and king tutti. I always went round to my freinds uncles house and we all played it
Sky need to bring this game back. Please sky. Bring this classic game back
Damn, it’s been soo long.

Yes you found my childhood it's sad is not there anymore
The music!!! Nostalgic asf
True ogs from the 90s know. When you fake being ill so you can grind Beehive Bedlam only to die when you get to the level 50s.
Oh my! I forgot this even existed! It's good to see someone documenting it.
