Not sure if you've been told or not, but Legio Ignatum (The Fire Wasps) are a Titan Legion in Warhammer 40k. The most decorated and prestigious of the Titan legions too iirc
I have to say, i didn't expect that such kind words from a person i don't know, but whom i share an interest/passion like 40k would give me such good mood. I try to do my best to help the AI in making what i imagine (sometimes works, sometimes less). Thx a lot, i very appreciate.
I'm happy if it gave you a good mood, AI or not, these songs have been a great vibe for me until now. I never even heard of the Firstborn before since I'm relatively new, but I loved all your Warhammer tracks so far. As we say in German: "Ehre wem Ehre gebührt"

Good point, but the positive thing about AI-generated songs is that, otherwise, there wouldn’t be songs dedicated to niche topics or themes (i've never heard a song about the Ignatum until now, but i may be mistaken) or songs that i wouldn't be able to make in other ways right now. I wrote this song because someone requested it in a comment, and I’m happy to know that now anyone looking for a song about the Legio Ignatum will find one. Is it perfect? No. Could it have been better? Certainly. But at least it exists now, and if someone wants to take inspiration from it to create a new one, they’re more than welcome to do so. As I see it, in the absence of anything else, even an "AI slop" made with care is better than nothing. In the end, i liked it enought to share it and i'm glad others liked it too. By the way, thx for writing your opinion. You surely had listened to the song for writing it and is more than others do before critiquing AI songs.
@@rolelifeproject In your defense, I do appreciate that you at least wrote the lyrics yourself (and they do feel more authentic as a result). There are some other 40k songs out there where you can tell the AI (Suno probably?) has written the lyrics as well because they just don't fit the setting/have those telltale "quirks." My problem with AI by-and-large is that it's just flooding this platform with low-effort content. I appreciate referring to your song as "slop" was a bit overboard, though, sorry about that. Perhaps I'm just salty that because I like those Helldiver AI songs UA-cam is just pushing me AI music all the time now!
@Henners1991 I completely understand you: I’ve noticed this trend as well, and I constantly get recommended similar songs. I listen to some, but I close many after just a few seconds (as you can imagine, I can now almost immediately recognize songs that were generated without much care-made on the first try and then uploaded without much thought or even an attempt to improve them). To me, those are an "abuse" of the productivity freedom that AI allows. However, as far as I’m concerned, as long as I’m able to, I’m determined to deliver something worthwhile-if only out of respect for the people who are passionate about a subject. (I, for one, can’t stand when someone approaches a topic and doesn’t even try to understand it or why it’s appreciated.) The songs I get and write have a purpose: to bring satisfaction to myself and to those who listen, and maybe even serve as a way to immerse oneself in a desired mood (for gaming, writing, daydreaming, or creating). If I can achieve that for even a handful of listeners, I’m more than happy. And I want to thank you: you’ve been very fair and kind in your response. At the end of the day, we can and should have different points of view. What matters is having a respectful dialogue with meaningful exchanges. No one likes gratuitous criticism or insults (even if is used an AI to get something done), I think.
