I'm on the look out for a replacement due to the recent demise of my Hanger9 60 sized Thunderbolt. It flew great on an RCV 91 CD and has a similar spec to this Seagull model. Your engine really rips for a four stroke..!

I have one of these with electric setup, and yes they do fly great for a warbird, going on 3 year's and still a favorite!!
Pro tip: you can watch series at kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

I have this model but had a prop explosion (electric 4 blade) so I had to rebuild the front end and one of the wings. Now I have installed DLE20RA and I am getting it ready for remaiden.
Can you please tell me where did you get the TopFlite cockpit and the pilot (EU?)? It realy looks great.
Thanks a lot - the pilot is from Warbirdpilots (www.warbirdpilots.com/product_p/usaaf-1-8-rc-pilot-figure.htm) and the cockpit kit is sold out everywhere and can not be found at TopFlite. I searched the web for a long time until I found one more at a dealer (article number is TOPQ8405)

Was this the Seagull Master Scale Edition kit that you build the traditional way, or an ARF? I am considering the kit. I've been trying to get ANY warbird ARF to suit a small radial but during COVID, nothing available

I think so, my P47 is a bit heavier because of the cockpit expansion, sliding hood and pilots ... if you leave that off, the 15ccm are the same as my 20ccm

@@kowinator1 ist nix großartig dabei, anlassen und Spaß haben. Den Motor musst nicht wirklich einstellen und warten, absolut pflegeleicht. Warbird muss knattern 🤗👍

It should have a four blade propeller as real P-47 Thunderbolt had.
yes, but that does not work on the engine ... the more blades the worse the efficiency, and the diameter would be much smaller than now. So everything is not on RC models ;-)

yes, it works with the electric motor - but then i missing the beautiful sound of a 4-stroke engine ;-)
