Tesla Model 3 - EVbase Aerodisc Wheel Covers

Today I will be unboxing and installing the latest version of EVbase wheel covers - Aerodisc for my 2018 Tesla Model 3. Versions are also available for Model 3 Highland, and for Model Y 19" and 20" wheels.

I usually don’t mind some of the covers out there (i.e. UberTurbines, Orbitals: etc.), but these are pretty bad and make the car look really cheap.

I would want them with no sticker on them. I didn't see an option to order these without a sticker in a plain color. So I messaged them to see if that is a possibility. For those interested in efficiency these might be the ticket even though they don't look great. Is there adequate room to be able to check the air pressure and add air as needed? That seemed a little questionable.

They used to have the option for plain covers. The stickers are vinyl and you can peel it off if you prefer. The tabs can be removed to access the inflation valve. I prefer just to remove the cover to get to it though. Not a big deal.

Totally polarizing. I kinda like them. Would def give your car a diff look than all the others.

Do these have a noticeable efficiency gain? I dont see justifying $239 for them

I wouldn't buy any covers for specific efficiency promises. I haven't tested these, but I would expect them to be better than the OEM cover since they are flatter and very little openings to disrupt airflow. Most people buy covers to make the wheels different.
