Mastering the Art of Birch Water Collection: A Step-by-Step Guide to Tapping Your Birch Tree

  • In this video, I head out to the forest to show you how to tap a birch tree.
    The Birch Tree you want to tap should be at least 25cm in diameter and once done, pay careful attention to plug the hole as not doing so will bleed the tree to death.

    Never done it this way before, handy because i always have silicone tube when out.

      Thank you Charlotte! Yeah it's a relatively easy process, get it dripping, go have a wander, cook up some hot chocolate on that twig stove you made, return in a few hours and you've got juice! Hope you and yours are all doing well!

      I made bacon rolls first on the twig burner,and got a dinky kettle (just because lol) .they were delish.
