-People can get really up in arms whenever their choice doesn't win out.
-Facebook moms have no idea how AI chatbots work, and would rather take the easy way out just to scaremonger to their kids.
-Nintendo has just as big of a stick up their ass about copyright as Disney.(Seriously, is their legal department ran by the Blue Haired Lawyer from the Simpsons?)
-And Epic Games measures to protect children from innaproriate content only ended up angering eveyone.
I'm pretty sure that Nintendo and Disney would both kill people IRL to enforce their copyrights. Given their wealth and influence, how hard could it be for them to also legally bribe (which is, to say, lobby) lawmakers to make a law so that, when they murdered someone for copyright infringement, they'd get all of the victim's property?
Given that both Disney and Nintendo also ignore the bootlegs that are the ones actually defacing their IPs, I feel that calling that stupid isn't insulting enough and/or doesn't really capture it and using the R-word against them would be more justified.

My favorite thing about the cosmetic restriction in Fortnite is that for the Invincible skins, they dont allow you to wear the Burger Mart backbling in certain creator maps (because it has brains on it) but are completely fine with you wearing The Immortals decapitated head as a backbling

Quick note, Mojang on multiple occasions has said that the biomes and mobs who lose the vote don't actually get banished to the shadow realm they'll just get added later on. The only example of this happening is the Mangrove forest addition and the frogs

It's absolutely insane that the Rise of Kong devs had 1 year to make a game from scratch.
You’d be surprised that a lot of these companies force theses people to pump out games in unrealistic times. I feel bad for the devs that get screwed from day one
And then there is Like a dragon Gaiden that only had 6 months development time so skill issue.
@@key099ablein Gaiden's case RGG had plenty of assets to reuse. Still a great game, but they did have plenty of leeway since they reused Sotenbori and Yokohama for maps. I feel bad for the Kong devs since they had to build a complete game from almost nothing

I feel like some braindead higherups at these companies look back at the NES era when games regularly came out from like 6 month development cycles and expect modern companies to be able to do the same, completely forgetting that the NES only had 54 colors available and couldn't even use all of them at once, so maybe there's a reason games didn't take so long to make back then.

As someone who is being held at gunpoint by Nintendo for playing Mario on my computer, I think Nintendo did nothing wrong
The one thing that was secretly inappropriate about talking Angela that was confirmed to be real is that by saying a specific phrase that I can’t remember you can actually get Angela to swear at you which was likely the result of a bug in the AI that breaks the filter. Oddheader mentioned it in a video with footage I believe.

From what i understand about the voice chat thing for fortnite is that it will only record the last 5 minutes of voice chat and only on your system and not on the server, and you have to send it to report players or else it just gets deleted after the 5 minutes. Also if you do send it, they will evaluate it for 14 days to see if the report is fair and then they'll delete it or keep it incase of legal issues.
so many reports are gonna happen the amount of elementary school children I found in the main mode not even BR that would curse at other children over items I drop for them is a real number

The fortnite age thing is dumb. In order to be marked as E or 10+ u just gotta add a gun. If the game has guns it has teen. All the creator has to do is add a target practice room with some bots and a few guns. Maybe make a zone where they can fight. Simple and ez and that will mark you as teen. Then anyone can wear whatever skin. Super ez to avoid and not very useful

the funnier part 2 to the mob vote controversy is that a lot of people found decent evidence that the mod vote was rigged by people who were abusing the API capabilities when you voted in the minecraft world/on the launcher.
So in other words, there's a chance the armadillo didn't even win fairly.
I find it extremely dumb that Fortnite is blocking skins if they have a gun on them when Fortnite itself is mainly a shooter game. They're also apparently concerned with scary items in the game but don't mind showing zombies, people literally melting, giants eating worlds, and countless other examples in the events everyone seems to enjoy.

How about, as a solution to the mob vote, you add all three mobs. But the thing you vote on is which ability each mob gets. Maybe each mob has a set of three abilities to vote on. I think that would make it more interesting.

Second, there was the spectacular idiocy of a Facebook Mom that sparked a million and one idiots getting an app altered because they were stupid enough not to understand how technology worked.

Ok, as a fortnite player, something to address: those official response tweets you showcased were posted in reverse order. They initially said ‘we’re going to fix this over the next year,’ and then a few days later they said ‘okay, actually we’re just gonna abandon this whole thing when chapter 5 launches in a week.’ They still want to keep a system like this, but they’re going to be reworking it completely after this season is over.

For a slightly smaller controversy, in sim racing there is this company called Motorsport Games which bought the rights multiple racing series including Nascar, IndyCar, Formula E, British Touring Cars and the World Endurance Championships.
Over the past year they have lost 3 of the licences, lost millions, sacked basically all their staff, had source code threatened to be released if wages werent paid, and are one of the most hated companies in sim racing currently.
They have released 3 games (with another being released in early 2024 which is just a reskin of a game as it is the exact same physics engine), with them being not too well received.
One of the biggest sim racing games (Iracing) has bought back the Nascar licence which they had before and are going to be releasing a console game.
And then this doesnt even mention the shit shows that were the 4 Le Mans Virtuals in 2020-23 where they couldnt keep the servers up for 24 hours and had a DDOS attack part way through after someone leaked the IP address (I am not sure if it was an employee or someone participating though)

For me personally, I care about Nintendo's developers and employees, but disrespect their DMCA legal team in Japan. But the one problem I have with the community is if you blame Nintendo as a whole, You're dragging in its developers and employees with it considering the fact they have absolutely nothing to do with those decisions.

We shouldn't be harassing or attacking anyone for saying something positive about Nintendo or enjoying their games while they criticize them accurately.
The Nintendo negativity hate rain has already created a bunch of toxic controversy across the internet, The only UA-camrs I can rely on and actually know how to look at accurate information correctly without jumping straight to conclusions like the popular UA-camrs are Moon channel, SupermarioT, Synergy96, Freezing Climber and BoTalksGames.
Unlike the popular UA-camrs, some of them actually know the truth and one of them is actually a really good lawyer and knows how reality stuff works.
The respectful casual Nintendo fans need an honest UA-camr that can show them the truth, I'm basically the only one who can do it, No one else will.
This year Nintendo also released their new guidelines to the Smash community. Those guidelines will basically cill Melee and make professional Smash players lose their income

Regarding Fortnite, I find it hilarious that they prevented certain skins with weapons holsters on them from creative maps… in a game that heavily relies on guns and weaponry. Obviously not every creative map relies on the combat features but the base game of Fortnite has tons of guns, many of which resemble real world weapons.
