fun Ramp Buggy fact: both models have the same hitbox. You would think this means the spoiler has no hitbox since the spoiler variant is used exactly once, but nope! They both have a spoiler hitbox to be pedantic, the Brawler _does_ have ABS, it just has abs_alt, which is ABS that dramatically decreases your braking performance if it kicks in. Not having ABS is actually better for your braking performance than this type of ABS fun Kamacho fact: the reason it's so fast is because it has a ridiculous engine upgrade modifier. The same one as the Pariah, actually, and like the Pariah it was probably a copy-pasting mistake
I've still got a Duneloader tucked away in one of my garages. Needless to say it doesn't get out much these days. I always hoped that Rockstar would release a clean version with a bit more power and actual AWD.
@disband_thebbc5933 I have one myself. I get my Duneloader action from the bunker, so mine is also tucked away. 😅 But the Halftrack duneloader was a blast to drive. Shame it is nonraceable.
I mostly agree with the idea that the order would be roughly the same in a road track vs an off-road track with a few caveats. But first: not trying to discredit anything you said at all with this comment, just trying to add a few thoughts as an avid off-roader. There are other factors beyond offroad traction loss to consider in offroad racing, though I am uncertain how these are expressed in handling data. Vehicles in the offroad class (and all other classes) vary greatly in their ability to maintain their composure across the rougher offroad terrain, which will impact how quickly they can be driven in an offroad race. Some absorb bumps and jumps without any issue while others that may be quicker in on-road lap times will struggle with those bumps and jumps causing them to be slower overall as you have to adjust how quickly you are driving to avoid a crash from poor offroad handling. I've found many offroad vehicles (and other classes) that get higher lap times in your testing will often outperform those with better lap times when in an offroad situation and that almost always comes down to how they can handle the rougher terrain at speed.
I mean that's true of every class, given the different track and race types (eg. a car will perfom differently relative to others on a hill track vs a high top speed blaine county track vs a city track). It's just that there are more variables to off-road races and the vehicles in this class themselves lean into that more (which is something I actually say in the video too).
I had a feeling the one Thursday where I had to work was the day this video would come out. Still, I'm happy it's finally out and we get to finally see where the Terminus lies (which is way better than I thought). I completely understand that it took a while since there are so many non-raceable vehicles but I actually wasn't expecting the Nightshark and Zhaba to be raceable now, that must have just changed within the last year and if I'm correct, I think this class also has the most classes with vehicles that are also raceable in Offroad races despite not being in the Offroads class.
I knew the HSW Monstrociti will be on the top, but it’s still nice to see the Canis off roads are still able to keep up depending on the circumstances. As always your commitment to testing these vehicles will not go unnoticed.
Kamacho, trophy truck, desert raid, terminus, and drauger are definitely my top 5 favorite off-roaders because of their ability to climb mount chilliad and mount Josiahs steepest points that are not rock walls. But that is me and my favorite thing to do to relax and waste time online 😂
I've found that traction loss and top speed don't tell the entire story offroad. The ability to handle bumps and stability (track width vs overall height) also play a major role that a street circuit cannot provide. With GTA's wonky physics, some things just love to grip-roll inexplicably while others slide predictably.
Fun Fact: If you purchase the RC car before you initiate the arena introduction, you will be locked out of using the RC car. Not sure if it is fixable after the fact, but I can only hope because it happened to me >:(
The Draugur is my go-to for off-road racing. A long wheelbase and high clearance tend to keep vehicles controllable off-road. The Bifta, Vagrant, and Montrociti will roll and spin nonstop if you push them too hard. Bikes can be quicker and more controllable but you run the risk of getting knocked off
the dune can be stored in the garage with some shenanigans and it can hold upgrades but the one from your garage can't be selected in races, so technically and strictly speaking, the dune is not fully upgraded in this testing 😶🌫️
I did a few races with a friend trying to figure out if the Terminus was faster than the Kamacho since you hadn't released the video yet. Needless to say I knew I wasn't trippin 😂 One thing that I would like to add though is that the Terminus, alongside the Vagrant and MonstroCiti, are prone to rollover easier than the Kamacho and Drauger which makes for some interesting off road races if the terrain is rough 🤔
i'm curious how the sasquatch became slower compared to previous testing whereas almost every other vehicle has stayed roughly the same or lapped slightly faster. your previous tests had it with a 1:04.071 laptime with 121.25mph top speed compared to the 1:05.366 laptime now with 116.5mph. Did something happen to it that i never heard about? very curious if you have the answer to this
Most of the arena vehicles got slower on the new testing, likely due to various advanced handling flag changes which also slowed down some other cars (or led to them not improving) and potential nitrous boost length differences from previous hacky PC testing. This is much more accurate now.
The weaponized Ignus is the same as some of those off road vehicle because it's got a gun ontop you cant use it. They should disable it like you've said for the offroad vehicle's at the start of the video. Sick of using the bike for HSW be fun to use the Ignus.
3:41 Well that answered my burning question of if this version of the Ramp Buggy would be quicker than the ownable one whether they're upgraded or not. PS: It's actually used in two missions; the other is in the Escort ULP heist setup. I would've expected the Walton L35 to be in Tier H as I find it more slugglish around the corners & on acceleration than the rest in the group.
I know you talked about why we can’t use other weaponized cars. I feel like this because of GTA races. In GTA races you can use the machine guns of the nightshark or the ardent, but they are useless. This is however not the case for cars like the stromberg whose missiles will absolutely destroy any GTA race. I believe that is the reason R* is careful with adding more weaponized cars to be usable in racing.
The main difference between the ratel and trophytruck/buggyraid is that the ratel is also a RWD off-road and it change the handling. Pretty surprised to the ratel in 7th place I’ve been able to be very competitive against some draugur or vagrant.
Pffft, should have tested them on 'At The Races' GTA mode with some French, Dutch or Spanish kid bailing after the first checkpoint to shoot Broughy every time he goes past.
I wonder, if anyone could think like R*, is there any reason why they dont make all cars raceable? I can only think of good reasons to do it. More cars means more fun and more people would play the game and some of these will be shark cards which means more money for R* or am I wrong?
I do think you should get a off road course, there's some cars that drive well in road but are a nightmare offroad, like the Bifta. He jumps like a mountain goat and spin pretty easily, that can cut a lot of his time because you gonna have a lot more work to keep it steady..
Can't imagne how much time and work goes into thi so thank you. But for the life of me i don't understand why you wouldn't test offroad cars on,....well an offroad track...
Disagree... Vehicles lap times wouldn't be on the same order on and off road because suspension behavior, ride height and the ratio between grip x acceleration would all work differently

Hey broughy uh how does the maibatsu manchez scout c compare to the bf400?
your commitment and organization are unmatched!
Thank you for the kind words!

I love fun facts.
Your extensive documentation of the cars in GTA is absolutely insane. Unmatched levels of dedication. Goat in the community for real
I remember when I won offroad races with randoms with a Duneloader 😆 The speed has increased so much the last 11 years
I've still got a Duneloader tucked away in one of my garages. Needless to say it doesn't get out much these days. I always hoped that Rockstar would release a clean version with a bit more power and actual AWD.

BRB putting "off-road traction loss" on my gravestone.

Why do I love this much that the Injection and the Insurgent were two of the three vehicles in Tier I?
I knew the HSW Monstrociti will be on the top, but it’s still nice to see the Canis off roads are still able to keep up depending on the circumstances. As always your commitment to testing these vehicles will not go unnoticed.

About time you got this done 🤣Well done 👍
The Trophy Truck is downright iconic. Edit: I wrote this before you called them both iconic lol.
8:10 The solution is to test all the classes offroad 💀💀💀
Luv the vids keep it up
Fun Fact: If you purchase the RC car before you initiate the arena introduction, you will be locked out of using the RC car. Not sure if it is fixable after the fact, but I can only hope because it happened to me >:(
that’s so sad
I like my cars grippy bruh
i think you made a mistake labeling the bifta’s top speed in the muscle class
Identity Crisis 2.0 the class
nice job!

In transform races you get your personnal dune

@@broughy1322 that would make the most sense, yeah. thanks for clearing my curiousity
If it hasn’t been done then this list would be a fun class random select. On a really good off-road track with some jumps and a lot of gravel
We did this not too long ago which was quite fun: ua-cam.com/video/DAD3t3PIE8A/v-deo.html
About time 💯
The Drauger should get hsw
Hoooly, i genuinely thought you just forgot that offroad existed 😂
8:45 He said the thing again !
18:00 but how fast will it go if it wheelie?
Over 9000
13:03
I don't know if this was on purpose or accidental, but with the BF Bifta, you said "7th in Muscle (class)" in Top Speed.
Yeah it should be 10th in Off-Road
The weaponized Ignus is the same as some of those off road vehicle because it's got a gun ontop you cant use it. They should disable it like you've said for the offroad vehicle's at the start of the video. Sick of using the bike for HSW be fun to use the Ignus.

Thats probably more you being a better driver than those in the Vagrant/Draugur :D
Nice to see the Canis Terminus In the (A Rank) Section Although i do wish rockstar would fix the window bug
Thought he forgot about this series for a while there
emergency class had the most new editions over the last few patches, should do that class first
Pffft, should have tested them on 'At The Races' GTA mode with some French, Dutch or Spanish kid bailing after the first checkpoint to shoot Broughy every time he goes past.
13:15 mistake on the Bifta's topspeed, wrong class 🥸
Well maybe it is the 7th fastest muscle car 😂
Damn it! There's always one! EDIT: It's 10th in Off-Road for top speed.
When is the utility calss?
When will the website be updated i thought its after a week?
Here’s to over $17/hr on off roads 😂👍
I wonder, if anyone could think like R*, is there any reason why they dont make all cars raceable? I can only think of good reasons to do it. More cars means more fun and more people would play the game and some of these will be shark cards which means more money for R* or am I wrong?
Pink was definitely the one
It's been 10,000 years 👴
When the race is on dirt, which of these cars loses the least speed?
22 cars are unaffected by offroad gtacars.net/?filter_class=off_road&sort=traction_loss&perPage=24
Broughy the thumbnail car is a different colour than in the testing. My immersion is ruined. Also when utility calss???
About time🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 now we need motorcycles, planes, and helicopters
I really thought the terminus was a meta competitor
Lacks a spoiler upgrade sadly
Hey guys, does anyone know how to buy the hellion?
Where's the motorcycles list?
In all our dreams
Why I see black car on that thumbnail
what about motorcycles?
Yessssss
But which are the most fun to actually drive off road?
Trophy Truck is all you need if you want enjoyment.
@@broughy1322 Nice I have one of those 👍
bikes next?
No. I gave the order for the upcoming videos in this video.
Ofc the Raptor a performance truck sucks at performing 😐
Offroad Traction Loss
That's a nice Terminus in the thumbnail!
Most of them are just black. How boring! 🤭
I know right? Who'd have it be black...
Only someone who doesn't listen to his chat. 😅
I hope GTA6 lets the tire choice affect Off Road Traction Loss instead of the vehicle alone
I do think you should get a off road course, there's some cars that drive well in road but are a nightmare offroad, like the Bifta. He jumps like a mountain goat and spin pretty easily, that can cut a lot of his time because you gonna have a lot more work to keep it steady..
where is the Kreiger
Edit: Imagine using off road wheels on a super car but testing off road vehicles on tarmac.
GTDriver I will ban you
That you test theme with offroad wheels makes sense, but why don't you test theme on an offroad track...
😉😜
