      When making ads targeting products/ASINS is it better to target ones you think are relevant that have a lower suggested bid? Does this help lower ad spend?

      On a serious note, you are the best teacher in the kdp niche and the transparency in your every video is beyond explanable. Thank you ❤.
      What should be the goal of new publishers to make $10000 per month? I have been doing kdp for 6 months now and all I'm doing is $100 per month consistently and it is not increasing though I keep publishing books. I think I'm lacking in reviews as my books have just 3-5 reviews each. Also, I don't run much ads just $20-30 per month.
      What should I do next? Is it easier to publish 100 books and get 1 sales per day from each book Or to publish 1 book and get 100 sales per day?
      I have a $100 monthly budget and everything related to the book like writing, book cover, formatting, a+ content, and others is done by me. My niche has amazing sales even the books that are less quality than mine are selling really well and mine is not. What should the best advice you would give me in that budget? My royalty per sale is $6-8.

      Barry I found a new feature in Amazon KDP ads and I'd like your opinion on it: In "Add budget rule" there is a new "Hours of Day" section that allows you to customize what hours of the day ads run.
      I'm sure this matters more for lower overall budget ads where adspend may be spent quickly in the beginning of the day and not in the end.
      I'm really curious what your thoughts are on this, if you've used it and if you think it has a place?

    Hi Barry,
    In several videos you've mentioned not to expect profit during the first two months after starting running ads. Also you've taught us to only target 10 - 15 highly relevant keywords in our campaigns. I remember you saying in one video, during the first month expect 1 sale from 10 clicks. I am a bit confused here. Because at that moment you have created a quality book with good number of reviews and attractive A+ content. Also the book is highly relevant to the keywords that you've targeted through your ads. So what could be the reason for customers to not purchase your book in the first two months? Really appreciate your opinion.
    Thank you :)

    • @barrygeorgioukdp
      @barrygeorgioukdp  4 місяці тому +1

      There can be many reasons your customer doesn't buy your book. You might not be as good as you think you are, you might have not set up your campaigns correctly or you might not have enough social proof as well as many other reasons :)

    Very nice videos all to the point thank you very much. My question is about phase 3 , we get over 100 sales, run auto campaigns, and reach over 200 sales , how we should proceed with ads for phase 3 ?

    • @barrygeorgioukdp
      @barrygeorgioukdp  4 місяці тому +1

      Phase 2 requires some extra steps other than running auto ads to have the most effective advertising structure but phase 3 is about optimising :)

    Hi Barry first of all thanks for making videos helping a lot in my initial KDP journey want to buy your course but as Andrew state says I AM BROKE😅.. Trying to become rich... KDP might help... I have a question and that is in the first honeymoon period when we have to focus on the 100-300 sales is that only for Paperback version, or Ebook version. Or everything combined meaning Paperback, hardcover, Ebook. What if I just focus on selling Ebook version only starting my price at 0.99 dollars I think that's what most publishers do. Hope you will answer. Been a subscriber from a long time and watched all your videos so far looking for new videos as well.

      I like to focus my ad spend on one specific format of the book. Personally I pick paperback but it all depends on your niche and target audience :)

  • @VirusTechKEKW
    @VirusTechKEKW 4 місяці тому

    This has to be the best video since it answers questions and generally we all learn a lot. But according to the video, it's smart to just pause a keyword that has low CVR. What if this keyword is super relevant though? For example, I have a coloring book and I have a product campaign and I run the "coloring book" category in there. Which has 97 clicks and 4 orders and that's like 4.something% CVR. But this is literally the category of the book. I know coloring books are very saturated but should I pause it or let it go? It's confusing because it's a category and it's pretty much the actual literal category of the book.

    • @barrygeorgioukdp
      @barrygeorgioukdp  4 місяці тому

      That's a great question. If your book has a low conversion rate, even if it 100% relevant to the keyword or category, it simply means it is not resonating with your target audience. You might be selling a coloring book but a low conversion rate means shoppers are picking your competitors books over yours. If you are targeting the entire coloring book category your book is competing against all the other coloring books in that category. Out of 97 clicks, 4 of them converted to sales which we can assume 93 of them chose another coloring book. I will go more in depth with this in another video :)

    • @VirusTechKEKW
      @VirusTechKEKW 4 місяці тому

      @@barrygeorgioukdp Yeah that makes sense now. So obviously, I should better avoid competing with ALL coloring books and just compete down on my niche. So I should better pause it. And obviously 97 clicks, that's a lot of money, kinda wasted.
      Also another question, if a keyword gets NO impressions at all, like completely 0..when the campaign is running for 2-3 weeks, does it make any difference if you pause the keyword or not? It still doesn't waste any money but still sits there with 0 impressions

    Barry pls i need your help!
    I changed one of my good selling book category so that i can make it same category with a Bestselling book in that niche.
    Now, my sales have reduced very well.
    Pls, do you suggest i put the book back to the category it was before or i should allow the algorithm to sort it out until it starts selling highly again? 🙏

    Is it absolutely neccesary to run ads , who is just starting kdp book publishings? I am a student , I don't have money and it is not okay to ask parents as per my family's financial condition.? Is there no way to sell books with out running ads? I am good at designing formating , with the creative part. Waiting for your valuable opinion.

      You can probably make a couple of sales organically at the start but amazon ads, if done correctly, is like petrol to a car. If there is no petrol in the car, it can still move if you push it hard enough, but it's just so much easier to fill up the car with petrol :)
