I guess my wife and I have been very blessed. We had 211 acres with a half mile of creek running through the middle. It was about half woods and half pasture, two houses, six wells and not too far from town. We had it paid for in six years. But age has a way of making you change your perspective. The good thing is that we found another, smaller, 42 acre farm that is even better than the big farm. The Lord has been good to us.
I am glad that you have 211 acres. You are blessed. However, did you think that GOD gave you all that land to be able to bless others. You are accumulated land upon land but what about thinking about others. Think about it.
Excellent testimony. I know them personally And their marriage and their children are powerful witness to what God can do for a family that seeks to please Him by putting His counsels in practice. Country living has no better witness than the Andersson family.
Good morning what a beautiful testimony. We heard God voice to leave the cities so please pray for us that we get a piece of land in the country in Jesus name 🙏
It took more than a decade, maybe 2, to convince my hub we needed to move out of the city.once we had it in our head, we started setting it up. We looked hard and fast once we had our ducks lined up.the real estate market was ( is) red hot. We saw 6 properties with an agent and bid full price on 2 of them. Nope, we were out bid by cash offers. The agent showed us a property that had problems, it had been in and out of escrow 3 times. It turned out we knew what to do with the ( problems). Sure it wasn't my first choice, but the sellers accepted our bid over asking price. We were in absolute shock! Completing the purchase during the pandemic was a wild ride. It's ours, and I pinch myself that I get to live in this beauty.my regret is that we didn't make the move 10 or 20 years ago, so my kids could've been raised here. It's glorious.
Thank you for sharing your story. Moving and living a country life is like planting a tree. The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago, but the second best time is now. Praying about it, is more important than finding the best property. It could have no stream or creek, even though water is extremely important, the Lord will provide, like He says He does for the birds. Remember to claim those promises. The 'wrong property' might be the right property. We have a work to do and it may just be our Nineveh. May the Lord continue to bless this family, your channel and your family.
God is such an on time God. He knows exactly what we need. All we have to to is trust in him and depend on him to supply our needs. What a great testimony.
It is such a blessing that God cares and gave you both something on the journey, and you both trusted God and each other each time. Erik to the location, Sherri to the property to rent in the location... How good is God!!! And then to both of you again to the final property that grew and grew! A lovely encouraging story! Yes, we all need to trust God on His journey for us all - He is always faithful, but He is NOT a vending machine - Character, purpose, stewardship, that is His focus on the journey so we can all be used for His Kingdom. Thanks for sharing this!

Timely, God inspired advice. Let God lead, one step at a time. My husband and I are going through this right now. Reviewing how God has led/protected/prepared us in the past is helping us to let Him lead.
Sis. White encourages those who are able to have large properties to help those who are not able to afford a country property to help them. I hope you guys will be willing to do so.
Lord, Jesus bless me to be able to keep a part-time job as a senior citizen so that my family does not have to give up our dream of country living because of our age and our income being single.
It's wonderful to see such lovely children raised in a good family environment and the parents have the vision and good grace to find land to take stewardship of. The long vision of life, it is aided by faith and I would also say, knowledge as via knowledge, people can understand their place in nature and create balance and harmony.
This just what I needed to hear! We do live out in the country persa right on the edge of a small village. With that being said, I have a real need for land and moving in the country with our own well. I tend to have a "perfect" vision of what that looks like, this truly spoke to what God is saying to me. Thank God I saw your video. I too have felt led to get out of Satan's city and I pray the Lord God of heaven to give me what I need to unload my burdens here in Southern California and move on to green pastures God willing will take me. Thank you.
Excellent testimony! I am a country living advocate and for years I have always told people that no property is perfect. You have to put work in it to make it what u want it to be. In the spirit of prophecy there is a statement that essentially states in every thing there must be a beginning! God plans our future.
I love this couple! And their story 🤗.. We are taking a leave of faith and in the process of selling our Idaho home, prayerfully, seeking a country property.
After praying for a way out the Lord opened the door for us. Moved from a city if nearly 1 million into a town an hour away of only 500, still renting but we could never afford to own anything in this day and age with 5 kids. If that's not an answered prayer I don't know what is. God bless.
Your story sounds like mine. God leads us gradually. We just need to move when He impresses us to move. He will provide. God bless you through this journey.

I am 67, divorced 18 years and my daughter 32, never married. We enjoy being together and thus living together. I was the one that wanted to live in the country. She was ok with it as long as not too far from work. I was actively looking. Her looking? nope. Went through some real estate agents that were not so good. Found one that did take us out "in the country" but still within 45 minutes drive from my daughter's work. I work in home health care. I can pretty much get jobs anywhere. Since I was the one looking for property, it happened that certain things kept popping up.... property taxes on many were "sky high" which made the mortgage go up at least $100 per month or much more! Or, the property was sold before we ever had a chance to go see it! This happened a LOT! Fast forward almost 2 years. One came on the market, 2 acres, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. 1500 sq. ft. Was it a manufactured home? They would NOT give us loans on those or so much hastle to get a loan. NOT a mobile or manufactured! Next day, the earliest we could go see it was 1:30. Found out there were 5 others after us. We went... really horrible rainy, icky, very cold day but we went. Loved it. Within 15 minutes we sent in offer just over asking price. Had made plans to go see others in the area so were on the way to next house. Got to that house and call came in. They had accepted our offer! They saw no one else after us. This house is a modular. If you find a modular, do NOT allow them to tell you that they are the same as a mobile home. They are NOT. Modulars are NEVER on wheels. They are NOT mobile. They are manufactured in a factory, inside a building and then the walls are placed on trucks and transported to the building site. They are put on permanent foundations. Also, instead of 4 inch walls ( 2x4 studs) our walls are 6 inches thick. God bless you all as you search for your "perfect" country home. Have we encountered problems with this house? yes... of course but nothing we can't fix or deal with. NO home is perfect? But..... we love it here.
Lord, the market is out of control because of the National Health Crisis, Lord please bless our family to be prepared from where we are to for our country home because we are running out of time.
Well, whether one lives in city or country , rich or poor ( financially) real happiness is when we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins ( sinful human nature ) , thus inheriting His righteousness ( through faith ) that enables Holly Spirit to dwell in us. To me, worldly possessions are optional to be really happy. I live in a city ( I am 42 now ) , but planning to move into country side ( in couple of years), but, I am happy now and I will be happy then, too. as long as I keep the source of my happiness to be Holy Spirit.
I would appreciate your comments on 'being in the world but not of the world.' I'm attracted to the idea of living in the country but then in such an isolated setting how does one become, 'salt and light.'
this sounds really good.. but are they in debt now??? The problem i am finding is my house price has gone up in the city but country properties have gone up more than city... i dont want to do debt anymore
As a person of color it's so hard to find my country home, even though we can more than afford to. You are met with so much resistance and scare tactics. Cant just live anywhere like others.Just wish it was this easy for us. Sigh!!
@@HealthAndHomestead Thank you. I will look into those areas. The earth was meant for all of us to enjoy. Just wish everyone got that. I am really enjoying your videos. Been binge watching them. Thank you.
Yes prejudice exists but remember God is in control. Please do not limit him. He will answer and direct and knows the needs of everyone. He will find you the right place.
Great story. But you are a family with a man! That's so important. My mom and I are alone! No onr wants or can move out of the city with us. Not having a strong manly hand, means we can't afford to buy a property that's following apart or needs a lot of fixing.... We also need actually what you described a "picture perfect" because we have no idea on anything about country living. We've lived our whole lives in the city so it's really scary living alone in the country.... We've sold our property in the city but for a whole year we haven't been able to find anything suitable and in our budget range.... What are we suppose to do?.... 😢
It may not be easy but in certain circumstances you can go in with people you are close with and buy land together. Sometimes there are properties with multiple houses. I would work out the legalities and divide it up legally so there will never be any issues with that.
@@HealthAndHomestead living in a small country with not so much sda population, finding someone and waiting to find someone who is suitable to live with on the same property is close to zero. We've tried. It didnt work.... :(

I will pray for you Joe.
Sigh!!
I am sorry to hear that. I know some of the areas of the country are not as racist. Rural Oregon and Washington I believe.
@@HealthAndHomestead Thank you. I will look into those areas. The earth was meant for all of us to enjoy. Just wish everyone got that. I am really enjoying your videos. Been binge watching them. Thank you.
I wish we could be your neighbors. It's really sad that prejudice still exists.
Yes prejudice exists but remember God is in control. Please do not limit him. He will answer and direct and knows the needs of everyone. He will find you the right place.
Joys with the boys homestead on u tube.
Use Gods budget I am a living testimony
@@martithefrog Where do you live ? Please fast and pray.God will do miracles.
@@honeybadger8942 we live in Bulgaria. Fasting and praying didn't work either... I'm just so tired.... :((((
May I ask what they do for a living... how to make income when living in the country?
The vid said he had a "practice" so maybe something in the medical field?
He is a dentist.
Although no hasty moves
Lord, Jesus as my brother and his wife put thier home the market bless them to allow God to lead them to a country living near their jobs where they can live off the land and be a witness for the Lord and their family and friends can visit as an outpost ministry.
Oh it’s hard, older and have my own Noah’s ark to move. I need water and fences at minimum to move.
107 acres! You must be millionaires!
Höhenwald means "high forest"
Good to know.
Do you know why they decided to find their country living home in Tennessee and not in Washington?
What costs $400,000 in Washington costs less than $100,000 in Tennessee.
why didn't they just buy in the outskirts of where they were originally ? there is land there
please I really want to find a farm house in tenesee in the hills please I need it for 50 acres or more please help health and homestead
You may contact Elvin Bridges or Steve Wolhberg.
I head Steve knows some real estate agents.
My take away from this is team work, pray , trust and allow God to lead.
That is a good takeaway.
Not sure why you believe in fairytales but glad all that worked out for you
A lot of talk about God, but not much discussion of the land features.
