@@Vermicompost definitely true for the oxygenated water! I occasionally give my fish a treat and found one, that survived the beast, living in a plant I have in the tank. Thank you Sandra!! We only lost power for a few minutes about 12 hours before the strongest winds hit, but more than 100K around Tampa and more than 200K around St. Pete lost power. Our son & his wife rode out the hurricane with us. Unfortunately the humus became a large petri dish by being pushed to the back of the refrigerator not from power outage. It didn't show very well on the video but it had some pretty colorful slime mold & fungus growing on it!! Thanks so much for stopping by to watch Sandra!!🪱🪱🪱

I originally double bagged it for durability both from the possibility of the worms breaking it down but also from animals trying to get in. It has done it's job preventing animals from getting in with only one intruder that eventually gave up: ua-cam.com/video/Tklx048IVFk/v-deo.html it also helps to insulate it from extreme temperatures both hot and cold. It has done a fantastic job so I just keep it double bagged...here is my last excavation of it: ua-cam.com/video/vPE5DZnmSWY/v-deo.html I hope this helps!! Thanks so much for watching Mary! And Thanks for asking a great question I'm sure other folks are curious about!!🪱🪱🪱

Hi Patrick, I'm so glad your family is safe. Thank you for helping the aquarium and all the animals. Your outdoor worm bin kept a lot of critters (wanted and wanted) safe from the effects of all that low barometric pressure and rain. Was the hummus a casualty of your power going out?
~ Sandra
Thank you Sandra!! We only lost power for a few minutes about 12 hours before the strongest winds hit, but more than 100K around Tampa and more than 200K around St. Pete lost power. Our son & his wife rode out the hurricane with us. Unfortunately the humus became a large petri dish by being pushed to the back of the refrigerator not from power outage. It didn't show very well on the video but it had some pretty colorful slime mold & fungus growing on it!! Thanks so much for stopping by to watch Sandra!!🪱🪱🪱
watermelons decompose super quick
Yes!! They are one of my favorite foods to feed my worms!! I have still trouble over feeding it though😀 Thanks so much for watching!!🪱🪱🪱
Is this new hurricane/tornados touching you guys? Praying for all
It went right through us last night! We had 90-100 MPH wind gusts but our house stood strong and we are not in an evacuation or flood zone so no issues there either. We lost power around 8:00 PM and it is still out but we have a generator & propane to cook with. Thanks so much for all the prayer Tammy!! They worked!!🪱🪱🪱
Curious- What’s the reason for double bagging? Thanks!
And Thanks for asking a great question I'm sure other folks are curious about!!🪱🪱🪱
Thinking of y’all💚🪱 hope you both and your loved ones are doing well through everything!🪱
Thank you so much!! Our house stood strong through the 90-100 MPH wind gust but we lost power last night and it is still off. No worries though, we have a generator & propane to cook with. Our only damage we're our banana trees that got blown down.🪱🪱🪱
