The most impressive part is that this performance still sounded awesome in a room that has very bad acoustics.
It's so sad seeing that everyone has gotten so old even though this was 10 years ago and Gary's sadly dead now
watching this still makes me want to cry
Bckground Singers Carol Chase and Dale Krantz Rossington, ( Gary's Wife ) are GREAT. They are onstage EVERY night with Lynyrd Skynyrd in Concert.

Gary Rossington is the LAST Rebel, some people would say Rickey Medlocke cause he sang a couple songs by himself on Skynyrds First and Last album and also drummed and either played Dobro or Mandolin on it
+mehakulei Rickey was actually their original Drummer back in the "Hell House" days.

@@RONVK Bob Burns was their original drummer. Rickey was only with them filling in from 1971-1972 while Blackfoot was on hiatus.
Gary Rossington just looks so excited . Not ! Couldn't stand watching this after 2:30 minutes with the lack of interest from a founding member .

The man was sick. He has had multiple heart attacks. He is in constant pain from his injuries from the plane crash. His body was just tired.

Noticed Mr Rossington doesn't feel good with an acoustic guitar.. But on the other hand Rickey and Mark rocked awesomely! Best band regardless of the time..

It's missing Ed King BIG TIME.
Gotta keep this music alive for new generations to learn and appreciate. This is how all bands should be and Id bet the house they could blow any modern band off the stage. These guys and gals payed their rock and roll dues for years in the bars and small town venues to hone their craft and develop their musical chops. Even they will admit they are not the original classic seventies lineup and anywhere near that level of greatness but hats off to them for keep doing it as they approach their sixties and seventies.
I'm only 39, so I'm a generation behind, but currently covering all of their stuff on acoustic. All the way over here in Australia, this band are still fan favourites and crowd pleasers.

Sorry no disrespect, but it's nothing more than a tribute band making money. Lynyrd Skynyrd left us in October of 77. Truth is Ronnie is still supporting the family. If you can't hear the difference then your not listening. Skynyrd was true musicians doing real music. That's not heard today, digital musical tones are not artist. Heard how videos killed the radio? Now we're killing real talented people that can't compete with a digital world. Fake News, Fake Music, can't believe what you hear. Listen to this live acoustic set everything is flat, back up singers are flat, sorry no music here.
