You're actually creating a saw out of your sine and filter the harmonics, so it sounds more like a sine wave again. Why not just use a saw with LP in the first place?
I know I might be the only one here asking but uhm… Can you guys possibly show how to create those bouncy basses like in a 4AM by joyryde? Pretty please 🙏
I'm proud (edit : ashamed) to say my bass sucks. There's something missing always either it's masking or my sub choices (which mostly is sine wave) Let me learn smthng
Nice video homies. I really liked the explanation on this one. Was very detailed and gave me a solid understanding of why to make certain creative decisions and options for various other results. Haven’t seen a video like this one. I’m definitely making these changes to my sub from now on.
@@mcgritty8842 ofc i use sidechain lol and if i want to go technical i also automated either the phase of the kick or the sub so there's no stupid gaps between my kick and my sub

You had me *until you put a compressor on your sub……..* You don’t wanna do that! Trust me! Throw an Oscilloscope on there after your EQ and take a look at what happens to your sub before and after compression (not just OTT, even tho it’s the worst). It puts your sub out of phase! Uk what that means? *Weak sub frequencies in your track* and you’ll be futzing around with a bunch of other shit to make this weak bass *seem* heavy. Trust me, if you stick to saturation and EQ, you’ll be just fine. If you have to, pick an EQ that will allow you to track the pitch. A great option would be Vital instead of Serum. You can slap the native EQ right on there, give yourself a little peak filter, turn on the key track (right knob - don’t remember if it’s negative or positive you want), then adjust the frequency to wherever you want. _BAM!_
I fucking hate this. When I'm tryna find the key of an 808 and it picks up nothing. I'll lits try to pushing it up a couple of octaves but it does nothing or something it moves toomuch🙈
A lot of people do stuff like this lol. Kinda gatekeepy to say things like that tbh. If i make a tutorial that i got the idea from someone I always speak on it (XLNT has also mentioned names too obviously) but believe it or not some people come up with their own stuff that others may have come across before. Jumping the gun makes 0 sense dog im sorry.
@@rux_ton personally speaking I think hate keeping is actually better than endless amounts of information since that informations and the skill matters more than how you feel.
It’s literally just superpositioning of waves if you want to get into it deep to add harmonic colors onto the fundamental note. It’s pretty much what the whole FM8 synth does.
Am I the only one who speaks along with them? "What's going on?! My name is Danny Ferrari. My name is Parker Romance...."
Same
Same bruh! ❤️❤️
I always thought he said "Parker Immense" lmao

Laughed my face off on the sine moment
6:29 danny: „like an 18 or 24“
*does a 12 filter*
1:13 noted, my dudes. I'll make sure I have myself a tuna with me next time im cooking some subs

Exactly
0:15 yes I think you're right
shoutouts to double dads tho lets go
This type of video is much easier to follow: Shout outs and ads at the beginning and afterwards its all down to business. Keep it up!
4:27 those bandz a make her dance.
The detail on these tuts are nuts. Thank U
would be cool to see you guys do a breakdown of Myrne's Trust remix
myrne’s old future bass/trap shit used to be so good
Add another oscillator with different harmonics manually drawn in…?

Would also love to see this!
Thanks. u guys always crack me up. Good vibes all around

Make the ‘W’ and there’s will be not enough room for your kick😂

Interesting how many producers have compressed their subs and basses, yet they slam… science is cool, but don’t lean on it too much
My tuner works maybe 10% of the time:/

You guys stole this idea from Nasko. He showed this about a year or two ago. Credit people who push the envelope…
@Phreak 209 this whole praising of VR says a lot about the music production community. Makes sense why there’s so man copy cats kinda sad.

Yo who the fuck is Nasko!? 🤣 For real no cap 🧢
Doesn't even explain why it's important to make sure your sub is in mono.
SMH CLICKBAIT
That’s like the most common fact in dance music… if you don’t add spacial effects, it will always be mono
