Thai Airways economy class , Copenhagen to Bangkok and from Bangkok to Sydney.

Welcome to our trip report on flying with Thai Airways economy from Copenhagen airport CPH to Bangkok BKK and after a two hour stop continue from Bangkok to Sydney SYD .
Almost 20 hours on an airplane and we were a bit worried that this would be to much for the old folks. See our conclusion in the end of the movie.

We are also Danish. Taking another trip to Thailand in 5 weeks. Bangkok Airport 18 times, Phuket 11 times and Krabi 2 times :)

Good footage. It's always interesting to see how the in-flight meals differ from the home country of departure. Different catering services, no doubt. Even your western style breakfast is different to the UK's (at 8:26) where we get a sausage with our breakfast.

Great trip report guys 😊👍. And you should definitely visit Thailand some day. I love the island of Koh Samui and have been there 4 times now. A great island in the south of Thailand worth visiting 🙂.

Welcome to Sydney. I hope you enjoy your stay here. I wouldn’t recommend driving in the CBD ( city centre). Lots of one way streets that lead to toll highways with limited exits for kms. Use public transport via your debit or credit card. Cheers.

Thank you for an interesting report. Thai Airways seems to offer a good service but CPH airport was absolutely horrible.
A few years ago an English lady of 90+ years took her first-ever flight; and that was from LHR to SYD !

Welcome to sydney! You don’t need to collect baggage on stopovers unless you’re arriving in the US or Australia, then the bags need to be inspected by customs officials before you get on your next flight.
The bag check at the gate in Bangkok is an Australian thing, any liquids, including duty free, are seized at that point if they’re greater than 100 ml. So buy the duty free in sydney!

Yes I think it would be if you arrive in time. No need to to pick up your luggage like in the US and to take it through custom. It worked smoothly for us
