  • Unboxing and review, spec's flights inclusind naked gopro of the Emax Babyhawk 2 hd.
    Fantastic little ripper of a 3.5" quad!
    perfect for the intermediate to advanced flyer, really opens up the sub 250g range for different sinarios while not sacrifising performance.
    I show weights with different batteries with and without the naked gopro and mounts.

    What a find of a channel. I randomly saw your Tinyhawk2 FS CRSF upgrade and commented. I checked out your VTX video and subscribed and now watching this video, I see that you also got a Protek 35 as do I. Seems we have been swirling in similar circles.
    I have avoided the Babyhawk 2 as I do not have DJI but I just checked and they have an analog version now. I was considering a Smart 35 but I too am a bit of an Emax fanboy. My first was an Emax Nighthawk 280mm. I'd still be flying it if I could find a good firmware for the Naze32 board. You are far more talented and adventurous with the iron than I but I'm getting there and love your detail. Looking for to your future videos.

    Great lookin quad and footage out of both cameras. I do the same thing while I fly. I see the footage out of the nebula pro and image how great it’s going to look when it comes out of the GoPro.

    I have 3”-7” in various styles but this BH2HD....it’s the sweetest feeling of them all for some reason. Quiet...10 minute flights...smooth like butter...what’s not to like? 🥰

      Actually the battery strap is too long...that’s it only flaw I can find. I had to cut mine in the middle of the nice looking Emax logo.

      @@SilverFox80521 it is such a sweeeet! Buttery flyer isn't it! I am totally on board with you! I fly this and my 5 inch when I'm flying for fun not filming. I used a way smaller strap because of that and it helped me stay under the 250g with the naked gopro. Ill be having a play with this and the caddx peanut soon just waiting on mounts being made.

    Thanks for the review. So whats the max range you got out of it? And how do you have your failsafe setup. Curious because I'm used to gps drones with those rth features..

    • @Stevieboyfpv
      @Stevieboyfpv  Рік тому

      I don't fly far with drone to be honest with the crossfire and caddx hd dji setup you can get fantastic range but for range I go to my flywoo lr explorer 2 hd. And unless you have a GPS module setup on these quads (this one doesnt) you have no options and it will just drop. Some like the flywoo lr explorer 2 have a GPS pre installed but you can always install one yourself and set it for emergency return which will hover above your take off point or hover in situe

    It appears you are running TBS option. What is the range difference with the D8 option?

    • @Stevieboyfpv
      @Stevieboyfpv  2 роки тому

      I belive a d8 has about a 1.5km range with a good antenna but it would be sketchy compared to crossfire which has miles of range and way better penetration. I swapped out my tbs minimortal t for a bigger one as the range on the minimortal isn't as good.
      Thanks for watching 👍

      @Stevieboyfpv  2 роки тому

      @@timothylaibe3009 thats cool! well I love the babyhawk its a lot more powerful than the tiny and will be more expensive to fix as you get into acro and suffer the crashes. I cant say I wouldn't get the babyhawk all ill say is you probably won't fly the tiny much if you do and that repairing and fixing is the other side of fpv making the tiny a lot less stressful to get into that side. The baby is the natural progression and only you know if your ready or if you just want to rip it anyway 🤟 it is a superb quad and fpv is HIGHLY addictive 😂

      @@Stevieboyfpv I decided it's too good of a deal to pass up. It's the perfect size to really rip without getting into ridiculous overdrive. The 5 inch quads are too loud and intimidating to me and spectators alike. The money I saved will go to 4s batteries. Should I go straight to a xt60 plug or just leave it at xt30?
