The STI is a great car, but it's just too quiet! I needed some rumble, so my buddy Drew from Penguin Garage got me the Remark BOSO Edition overnight from Japan. ;)
Time to unleash that Subaru Rumble!

Hope you love the car! I eventually switched to a GReddy RS-Race single exit catback and loved it. But the BOSO axle-back was really fun and definitely my favorite axle-back out there.

I have the same axle back, debating to get the midpipe to go along with it just don’t know if I go resonated or non resonated
I was originally planning to get the non-resonated remark midpipe, but I realized that would be insanely loud when I eventually swapped downpipes. So I am switching it up and throwing an all new exhaust on soon. Good luck with your decision!
Hey! What stock midpipe fo you have? Theres 3 different ones out there. Theres the wrx one that doesnt have a resonator, then a straight through resonator, then the newer STIs have that huge resonator. I want a little more sound and have been thinking about changing the factory BIG resonator with a smaller one.
Just stock STI midpipe with no middle resonator.

Did you use the included gaskets and have they held up over time? I read someone complaining that the provided gaskets are garbage and disintegrate
I did use the supplied gaskets and never had an issue in about 10k miles they were on the car. Hope that helps!
Hey man I know you said the drone doesn’t bother you but how bad is it? Can you still hear it with music on and windows up?
Hey thanks for watching! There definitely is drone, and I can hear it a bit with the radio on. On the highway I don’t really mind it though. It isn’t that typical annoying 4 cylinder drone from normal I4s. More of a rumbling sort of thrum (oddly similar to a Harley or muscle car on the highway). I drove it 12 hours straight to Boulder Colorado recently and I didn’t have a headache. But I’ve also got a bit higher tolerance for loud exhaust than some. I will make a video talking about this topic with some interior sound clips soon actually!
