If you like a specific player to contend, what is a typical betting strategy? Say you have 100 units to spend on a player - how do you typically divvy up that 100? Outright vs. top 5 vs. top 10 etc.
A lot of personal preference but also depends on the odds. I have a video called something like "Building A Golf Betting Card" that shows how I would divvy up outrights. Other wagers would be similar.
Sometimes models and stats are misleading because they don't account for composure and current form. Is there a model that can be made for the intangibles?
All those things can't really be measured they are more on the day / in play type things, too many variables to contend with .One slice shot can get a player spinning or maybe he ate a dodgy burrito the night before . All you can go on is form , history at the course etc , similar courses played well on and even then it rarely comes off 🤣🤣.
