I have the latest Cardo 4x. But with ruroc I prefer the shockwave. It’s clean it’s not hanging on the side of the helmet plus it’s louder. Easy to connect. My fiancé has the Cardo on Agv and we are able to connect to each other. Sounds good but with 1 sec delay.

A bit late to party but I have had the same Bluetooth connectivity issue with my packtalk. Turns out if you have another Bluetooth device paired the phone randomly dropped the connection to the packtalk and recruited.

Theoretically, yes. Since it only catches whatever audio source you’re using, and doesn’t have it’s own, it should be possible. I have tried different ones, but since it’s Bluetooth, you should be able to listen to your preferred audio. Thanks for watching b
I have the first Ronan the limited one but I know now they make newer ones is there a specific shockwave I need I don’t want to order the newer one if it’s not for the first helmets that dropped
I also bought a 1st gen Ronin years ago. What a jallopy. Lasted the visor has a terrible seal and the audio is ok, the bass blows out. I used another helmet for years but recently bought a 4.0 carbon and a lot of the quality has improved. There’s still a feeling of leaving wanted. Little details here and there that don’t equate to a $600 helmet. It’s nice but I’d maybe wait till the 5.0 or 6.0 for them to get it all together before you buy one.

Hey. By itself it’s only for listening to music and taking calls. But if you pair it with the Chain app (by Ruroc) and others do too, you can use it as intercom.
I have both the shockwave 3.0 on my atlas reaper and the packtalk bold on my Scorpion helmet. The shockwave such bigtime. The buttons are way to small and no group connection. I am gonna install a cradle for the packtalk on my reaper and sell the shockwave. So if somebody is imtrested I only used it once 😂
I agree that the Shockwave has its downsides, and I also say that if you do group rides, it’s not for you. 🙂 I also agree that the buttons could be bigger. I still like the fact that it doesn’t clutter the helmet and that’s why I will keep using it. Sound is still good and is pretty much the same as my Cardo. Thanks for watching.
@@OakleefMoto they have made an app called chain, that you can use for grouprides, and you dont need a shockwave to use it, just connect to your phone using bluetooth and its good to go

@@sanderlofthus3220 tested it the day it was available and didn’t preform very well. It has a delay in audio and wind noise is bad. I think Whatsapp audio group call is even better.

The latest edition of the Shockwave fits the Atlas 3.0 and 4.0. Same as the visors.

Hur funkar det med öronproppar tror du? Jag har alltid proppar när jag kör och är lite orolig att de ska ta bort mycket av ljudet

Is it only my Shockwave that has a reaally bad quality?
Can’t tell. Mine works fine and it seems as if others are quite happy with it as well. Might have to contact customer service.
