    Simple and extremely useful. My dad used them for his honda big red trike back in the 80s. He still has them and have used them on quads and now his side by side .

    I just bought a Polaris Sportsman and the first thing I did was to zip tie three milk crates to the front rack, one holds recovery gear, one is for chainsaw gear and the third holds a one gallon Coleman. Love the setup.

    Did this tonight with my Sportsman 570 tonight. Great, great idea and vid. Just wondering what clamps you used. The ones I bought (Craftsman) don't hold as tight as I had hoped.
    Thanks again!!

    • @SamkoTradBow
      @SamkoTradBow  5 років тому

      The clamps I have on top for shovels, bows etc are just metal spring clamps from home depot. Glad you like it. Such a versatile functional rack and so strong. Mine has been going 10 years now and works as good as the day I put it on.

    I need a basket the size of those 3 to carry my chain saw and other long stuff, any great ideas? I love that I could hang straps and bungees to it

    • @SamkoTradBow
      @SamkoTradBow  4 роки тому +2

      I'd put a 2x4 on the outside of the milk crates with some spacers between the board and crate and drop the saw blade down in that slot with the chain saw body resting on the board and crate. For long stuff like shovels I rest rhwm in the clamps across the front or back and for long steel poles I lashed them front to back to the milk crates on the front and on the back so they were on my right side going fore and aft.
