That's great! Thanks. I saw a video where they did a tumbler in the Cricut Mug Press but when they turned the mug over to do the top portion they were mindful to not drop in all the way to the bottom. This gave them a great design with no ghosting.
That's a good use for those finger mitts. They sure aren't any good for regular oven use. I'm glad i didn't throw mine away yet. Thanks for the video. Your tumblers turned out really nice.
Yes you do Nicole! Sublimation is fantastic! If you don't want to jump into buying a printer, you can purchase pre-printed sublimation prints either local or online to give it a try. Thanks so much for stopping by! ---Becky
I agree, taping would have probably yielded better results on the edges. I'll admit, of all the sublimation tips and tricks, I loathe taping the edges of these tumblers LOL, so I was hoping this would solve that for me. Alas it did not, so back to the tape I go. Hope you guys enjoyed the video nonetheless! ---Becky
Hey Judy! I absolutely agree! I actually have a tumbler press I'm trying to get the hang of, but for now I prefer my convection oven. Thanks for stopping by! ---Becky
I think this is a good way to get more used out of the oven problem is I don't think these results are consistent. I had issues with ghosting when I tried with a pattern.
What a bummer Nikki! But yes, I agree, a great way to use the mug press for more than just mugs! I always love a good hack! Thanks so much for stopping by! ---Becky
Hey Sandra! I don't believe there is an easy way to adjust the temperature, since it's intended for use with sublimation and infusible ink projects. I'll see if I can find anything for you though! ---Becky
Hmmm, that's interesting Patti. Does the mug press work properly for regular mug sizes? Let me know when you get a chance. It could be as you say, or it could be a malfunction with your press. Best of luck! ---Becky
@@creativefabrica it works fine with a mug. I probably need to work with it more. The design was uneven. I think it was staying hot but I’m not sure. I hate to ruin another tumbler experimenting. Well it’s not exactly ruined, I’m going to cover it with vinyl, glitter and epoxy.

Awesome!!! Now I just need to give sublimation a try!!

I love this! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Glad you like it! Hope you give it a try 😄
I tape the top and bottom and the color goes to the top better. Thanks!
I was looking in the comments to see if someone said this, I think it would have turned out perfect if she would have taped the top tight :)

I love the land you live in. I live there too. 🤣
Hey Jodie! It's a fun place to be, that's for sure! Hope you enjoyed the video! Thanks for stopping by! ---Becky
If I used the wraps to make the tumbler fit would my timing be longer than using the cardboard?
Great question! Are you referring to the shrink wraps?
I like this a lot. I think I would rather have a mug press that presses in one time. Lol

Love it!! It turned out great!! Is there a way to change the mug press temperature?

@@creativefabrica Thank you!
Can I add a name into the design?
Of course! You can customize your designs however you like 😉
I used your times and my tumbler turned out great!! Thanks
Great to hear! 🤩
My mug press lights go off after about 15 seconds, making me think I’m not using enough cardboard.
