If you use sanctus instead you can indeed get to wave king before 5 summons. Send engraver, grab sanctus, sanctus summons a token, link the token for the link 1, use its effect to summon a second engraver from the deck, engraver effect in gy to put the link 1 back in the extra deck then summon itself, and xyz summon Caesar 3 summons. Then you're free to continue the chimera stuff without fear of nib

Why not the omninegate fusion of the fiendsmith?
I personally didn't think it was worth it to make. It's Fairly expensive to make. And I feel made weaker boards. However, as said in the video, this is all still a work in progress and subject to change.
Why Caeser > 3x negate Appo?

Try without the patchwork engine
I did. I wasn't a fan only relying on chimera fusion. And apprentice magician works so well with edge imp chain. Only downside to the patchwork engine is it plays heavily into droll in a deck that hurts alot to droll
