The crank shaft opening to grease the clutch bearing is usually clogged with thread lock. Just drill it out and pump grease in there because the bearing’s dry from the factory.

Maybe a dumb question is that little rectangular piece of plastic under the tensioner supposed to stay on?
Yeah if you mean the white plastic piece, it a wear strip so if chain derailes it won't hurt the case
