That saw can absolutely do that my father cut wood for 10+ years with the Stihl ms361. And it would pull a 20” bar. Little underpowered for some of the big hardwoods and frozen white pine in the winter but it was lighter than lugging around his ms460

I have the kit version of this saw and it runs really nice. I have no complaints so far definitely got my money's worth out of it.
