The Panther 2 is, to me, the perfect tank to actually learn with. If you can make this thing dance and survive, you'll just destroy everything in your path with the E50s that follow after.
It is a great hardmode tank for sure. Shitty camo, sluggish but workable mobility, no armour and a giant hitbox, but a reliable gun lends itself to being very punishing and rewarding according to perfect and imperfect play.

Quite a ballsy move to drive a panther II to hill, especially when bottom tier in south spawn. I even think it's a stupid gamble (I think in most cases you will just die), but at least you shown how to use it after you won the position.
It's because he hates the campy gameplay that follows if he doesn't get on the hill in mines, he would rather risk throwing it instantly then sit around waiting. It's a pattern of his you will find almost every time he posts a video on mines.
These reactions shows that a lot of players are stat ladders that want that others do the hard work. If a team commits to get hill they will win it. The problem is that there are always a few fast tankers that went to the islands and screwed their own team.
One of the tanks completely forgotten by time. Just like the Panther 8.8. No updates for them for years and now they seem so obsolete it's like you're playing a tier VI tank at tier VIII.
back to what qb was saying about thanking to his teammates...i do this very often especially when they take shots so i don't get tracked really helps me a lot to have someone to take shots for me
@Adi Operta I have not played the Panther 2 since 2014 or something. It was still normal for tech tree tanks to be competitive and enjoyable back then. They were just starting to add overpowered premiums like the Skorpion G.
Not the worst matchmaking by far, I got 3 Chieftains to fight in my Panther II on Himmelsdorf and they dug in with 2 on the banana road and 1 on the hill and I was the last tank left still just bouncing shots off them and dodging the best I could but it was completely hopeless. things like the Chief and 279e should never get -2 matchmaking.
their really annoying tanks to fight. The only way pre HE nerf to dig them out was to just spam He at them which would do like 200-300 damage if ur in a tank with a high caliber gun. now you will be lucky to do 80 damage. Its annoying
People just dont understand the important to be alive in any circustance, you can see it daily when the arty just kill themself with all their hp left. Is just frustrating when ppl do this.
panther 2 is honestly not a bad tank IMO, not many people care about it but after the buffs the gun is actually really really good. and its decently fast, just no armor lol.
3:20 that spot is a horrible position if they have a tank proxy spotting you, and there's always some guy with a grudge sitting afk in right beneath you. The bushes are irrelevant because of the proxy, and you can never peak out.
This video just shows what I be saying, Never leave a dead tank alive" to be absolutely true. Once the tank can deal damage? It's a threat so make sure and finish off your enemies
@@TheDennys21 Issue is burst damage tanks with armor existing like the T56 and 703 that just make the 50 100 very pointless since it takes forever to unload the 50 100's clip and those two tanks can bounce as well as being premiums. The 50B still sees some play though.

I remember back in like 2017 when I watched one of my country's ex WoT players videos his platoon mate said that even 1 hp to finish a tank is worth a shot coz a tank still can shoot back and perform even in 1 hp so don't disrespect it. Recently i grinded the leopard line and i was really surprised by the indien panzer. I just played it quite passively and sniped and managed 2500wn8 and 60% wins, which i think is great considering i despise tier 8mm. Its much like the panzer 2, big target to hit, not great camo no armor but a very nice consistent gun. With todays tier 8 mm with bz's borats and progettos its so satisfying to have good games in tech tree tanks.
I played a couple years ago before it was part of tier 8 meds buff. The best gun before had 2.7 aim time and bad dispersion values which was handicapping the tank from being competitive, but that was back then when tier 8 were packing between 200/300 dmg per shot excluding TD's.

@QB I love the ‘plays for free’ concept but even I who is mostly a p4f player use a bit of gold/premium ammo and occasional consumable. You only need silver to buy them, you have to be smart and use wisely. I always carry a couple of rounds of premium ammo, especially if I am bottom tier, it is about when to use them, and sparingly. Would love your thoughts, keep up the good work!
Hi QB, love all your terrible content you put out. I’m enjoying the AMX 13 105 lately and i’m averaging around 56% wins in the last 100 games. Can you maybe do a masterclass vid on that tank in the future? Find it one of the best tier 10 light tank bcz its so flexible in every situation
Nine times out of ten you’d be tracked twice and obliterated trying to make it up the hill. So much for risk-reward ratio. But the game is all about taking out guns, a gun of a 8 hp tank do as much damage as a gun of a full health one.
I have to disagree about the Panther II, it's a goddamn credit sink. I lose money every time I take it out; I've given up on advancing past it to the E50. I am a terrible player and this tank exacerbates my lack of skill. You did really well in it, 'grats.
True, my best game is in T34-85 where i was reduced to 385HP in the start of the game and after this cold shour i polled a 4777 dmg and 8 kills in 1 vs 9
QB not gonna lie, I really hate it when you call this tank and the panther 88 memes are just bad tanks yet praise their guns and exclaim how much fun you have with them. Sorry they dont fit your hyper agressive playstyle but if you take the time and play them as sniping support mediums, then they become some of the best tanks. Insane guns for the tier
Ah yes the losing side of mines, I heard the position at C9 is actually pretty good if you start from the south, because of how lopsided the bill advantage is for the north side
I might get some flak for this, but the Panther II is a very nice tank with the 88 mm buffs that Wargaming gave it. It's not the fastest and it doesn't have the best armor, but the gun is just beautiful.
I still think that the Mines map is too small even for the tier II arty... They made Province for tier VII max... But still leaving the Mines for all tiers GG
I liked the panther II, had fun in it, in my grind to the E50M, that was before they buffed the panther II, but I did pretty good, lots of times by playing mid line in, or at the front when needed, hill down, using your gun depression when you can, it’s armor does really well actually. I liked it way more than the panther. Even though I got my E50M, I kept the panther II and E-50, and still occasionally play those two. They are fun. I trained my crew to the premium panther 8.8 so I can use them in all those tanks, with no detriment, haha.
How did he get bonds on a tier 2 tech tree tank? Mission that did not show up on the report? As I thought only tier 10 and tier 9 premiums earn bonds? Also without that action/personal mission payout it was a loss on non premium.
If I remember correctly the Panther 2 has the common issue of having a massive grind to be playable and on average it will get out performed by other tanks.

Is this the worst situation? No, not. A Panther II in Tier X match born on south on Mines is not much of use outside the hill area. The worst situation is when you are in a stalemate and going to a draw. You question yourself why the fxxk I waste 15 minutes of my life playing this game.

It's joke that this tank and Iron Arnie are at same tier. Exept DPM and accuracy it's worse in every single way. It even has worse gun soft stats

There are for sure some hidden gems in the tech trees. I've been having fun in my AMX 50 100, even 2 marked it completely by accident!

What I dont understand is that none of the enemy tanks focus him down. Yes they will take a few hits but they'd be able to progress further.

I think what your referring to is standard options in the game, just need to turn them on. Have a look in settings
