in all fairness, the players which are looking to leave have all achieved quite a lot at City already. They probably want something fresh and/or want to start in more games since they are all on the older side
They don't have passion to win oil league
@@navist5177 Yh cause they won it so so many times.
You think its better elsewhere?
In every other league, the richest club has been dominating for the most part
@@colonelcider8292i mean it only makes sense, the rich clubs just buy talent unlike before when things were different, there are rare instances where someone actually does something amazing purely by passion. Napoli did it recently and that's why everyone loved it, look at the other leagues, most money teams will always win and money is something players cannot deny. It gets them the fame and stability in their career
@@colonelcider8292the prem and serie A is the only league that has challenges.
la liga:
madrids and barca
ligue 1:
psg
bundesliga:
bayern & dortmund
while the prem has:
chelsea

liverpool
arsenal
and this season even newcastle has got 3rd. anyone in the prem can win it.
and serie A has:
milans
juventus
napoli
lazio
roma
qnd even florentina.
the main point is that these are the most balanced top 5 leagues in the world.
@nishantsaxena5077 well I agree to some extent but I wouldn't say Napoli did it through passion.
It's not like the club decided to refuse transfers or purchases and it's not like all the players had an option to move but chose to stay in order to win with thag club. Its not like Napoli's players were all Napoli fans from childhood.
People loved it because it was an underdog story, not because of passion.
Anyway my main point was that "passion to win oil league" is a stupid argument to make. Like these players are linked with PSG, Bayern and Barcelona.
Barcelona is a sort of a exception because of Real Madrid but in LaLiga its still the second biggest club.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have been sucking up all the money from LaLiga.
I think Pep does a good thing by doind this. It will be an opening chapter for many promising careers
Fodens career mite finally take off
Pep will leave in 2 years, i can sense the beginning of City's downfall
@@MrNash-hv5tntrue, Pep is a goat

@@Im-a-monkeI think if he wins the league two more times in the next two years he will leave for a new challenge.
The real reason is what Roy Keane once said after ManU won the treble. Break up the team and rebuild, refresh.
AnU was once god of Egypt too, never mind that wannabe King those scouse call Salah
@@scottpaulson206what about wanna be Salah?

Meanwhile at Real Madrid you got Modric and Kroos still wanting to play after winning 5 UCL’s 💀
UCL at Madrid is not success, it's the standard.
@@CRGB-ec3vu facts 🤷🏽♂️ Success is winning it 3 times in a row 😂
@@CRGB-ec3vubig difference between treble and ucl. Treble means winning every competition and u may win ucl but u didnt win the league as many times.Winning ucl is like a milestone but winning treble is more of a satisfaction of completion.
Some teams won ucls in a row, some won the treble but no team ever has defended the ucl title after completing a treble.
@@AstroSully or winning it 5 times in a row!!
@@ashutoshshukla5362 no team ever has defended the ucl title after completing a treble!!
This is very true but Madrid did win the league and UCL in 2017 and 2022 missing out on the smallest trophy of them all where 3rd and 4th division spanish teams compete!!
Also Madrid were unlucky in 2017, they were disqualified from the copa del rey in one of those 3 peat season!!
This happened at Napoli too. All new players, many young future stars. They won the title after 33 years, a good squad who can go far in the UCL. The chairman has made 300 million and can make a far stronger side to compete for UCL (as he stated himself). Instead the manager left, the football director left, and 3-4 of the starting 11 want to leave. Sure Napoli isn't a huge team, but winning makes people think they have achieved the impossible and its time to move on to a new challenge.
Very different, in Napoli they don’t pay enough in City they don’t play enough
It's a no-brainer. It keeps the existing players on their toes. It forces the coach to freshen up his set-up. It's like injecting yourself with fresh blood. Juventus were masters at it.
Cos you wanna leave on a high and don’t want to outstay your welcome, everybody stays long enough to become a villian. The minute things start to go wrong at city who is to blame? The players will be blamed and those taking up positions in the team for many years will be the first to be negatively looked at. To save reputation and legacy like gundogan who is now a legend forever at city
@@cjewe1z Juventus were masters at fraud.
Grealish wants to stay and still has the hunger & desire for another treble... he wants another party … coz he can’t remember anything from the last one! 🍻
He wants to stay because no other club is foolish enough to pay the wages he's getting.

Pep Ultra Mentality🔥🔥
Gurdiola loves new challenges and also supports other players to do so. He could have spent his entire life as the boss of barcelona and win league title every year and some ucls, but he wanted new challenges.
What ? No managers want to stay in La Liga anymore. EPL is the toughest and most watched in the world. Why do you think all the best managers are here ?
Obv ur brainwashed to the MAX
@@gruevlock24 I think that was the point he was trying to make.
@@gruevlock24you’re very sharp
This is your friendly reminder to leave any team that is not playing you. Although the coaches might lie to you and tell you that you are going to get playing time at some point, just leave and go somewhere else. You only have a specific amount of time in your life that you can actually play competitively, so don’t waste it.
Top players want to play every game. Even KDB only plays 75% of game time in the prem. Everyone is a bit player, and that gets boring when you've won everything. Now the trebles done, these players want to go elsewhere.
They don't want to be around when the FFP investigation hits and they all have to desperately look for new clubs before their wages all disappear
finally one with real reason
I hope so
Desperate much?
They already made a joke out of FFP
Keep waiting.
as a city fan I can understand why they want to go it'll be sad but they control their own life.
Same thing happened to Pep after he won everything with Barca, he said he was tired and wanted to get a new challange
A lie, because he couldn't said that the president of the club was forcing him to quick.
If Rodri,Gundogan and Bernardo where playing for Barcelona we would have seen emulation of that Busquet,Xavi and Iniesta trio 🤞🏽
Not even close and I'm a Real Madrid fan.
@@GU_WOP_O lol I understand your thought but one thing should understand the leagues are different and thus the training focus and style …
It’s not rocket science. This happens all the time
Cancelo didn’t leave until just recently. Bernado and Walker stayed and Gundogan just returned. Yep it’s all gone pear shaped….lol
The REAL reason is …….
YOU don’t KNOW
Real Madrid players never lost their passion even after their 3 peat. City Better rebuild their team now before the wheels fall off.
Its tough being a city player.... being on top ....relentlessly on the top....and finally when city win.....the passion ends pressure is released
I’m a Liverpool fan. City continue to sell players to direct RIVALS, like Sterling and Zinchenko, like no other team, and they still lead the league. It’s incredibly impressive.
Exactly what happened to liverpool last season. Some of the established players were playing levels below their normal and they ended up losing alot of games. You need fresh hungry players to maintain standards
Nonsense. Midfield was useless. Too. Many injury prone players and not enough investment in the team. Pep hasn't faced these challenges.
Pep is the goat manager. He can replace anybody and still win leagues constantly.
As long as he has the largest budget then yes lol. He literally had unlimited budget with Man C.
what has Guardiola won with City that managers before haven't already besides the UCL? It was only a matter of time until a club with unlimited budget would eventually win it. And they did so when the opposition was at their weakest , where the two strongest opponents (Bayern and Madrid) both struggled in their respective leagues.
Of course when he spent over a billion and only could win the champions league after 6years.
The goat?????
Pep is the goat . He made Barca unstoppable and man city too . Speaks volumes
Got to remember, some of these players are also in their 30s, pep needs to bring in young hungry players.
here after Gundogan came back.
You've conquered everything in Europe bro new challenges are always the go two when u have archived everything in a place
Nope, the real reasons are a. Despite the success, they’re still not an “iconic club” and players want that experience and b. The FFP “cheat” tag taints the player’s achievements and they want untainted success
This is exactly why Robert lewandowski wanted to leave Bayern in the first place
That Pep talk fired a great comeback winning them the Treble. Changing the squad is what keeps them competetive. Cashing in on Mahrez is great business, Walker just signed a new contract. Gundogans age is a risk, Cancelo didn't have the stomach to compete for his position. Couldnt handle Nathan Ake kicking him out.
It's about hunger....wanting more...pep is smart, when you won the lot, the hunger is gone a little..the challenge is to keep the team standard...
More reason why pep is goat manager. When kompany was still there you could see the fire in city. Peps half time pep talks were insane. City is just amazing
This video taken out of context for views. If you do some research you will find out why current players are leaving. Disappointed in this channel.
That's why teams like Real Madrid have such impressive longevity, they are always passionate and hungry to win.
This is why he is Guardiona! If you want to go, go! If you are not happy, go! But under him, he is still winning!
As long as Haaland and De Bruyne stay, that's fine by me. Get some new blood in there that actually want to be there and let's run it back next season!
DB is all they need. Any decent striker is scoring goals with DB running around.
All of the players who are leaving have completed football at City, they have nothing left to gain by staying there, leaving and facing new challenges with new titles is the best option
Don't get me wrong there great players but they are knocking on abit, If Pep stays its time to get the piggy bank out and start to refresh the squad
City will evolve. They're a big club now. Players will come and go but the club will continue to do bits with Pep at the helm.
They know that lawsuits comin. Get out while ye can
dream on
Still waiting for that?
Pep can rebuild any team. So it doesnt matter who leaves.
If only Álvarez would get some more field time...
all the more reason why real madrid's threepeat is the greatest achievement
His team is also aging out. This was the time to have a historic victory with so many strong play makers at their peak along side strong young scorers
Players have won it all at city and the management is scared that they will lose motivation and do bad next season.. so its good to bring in fresh players who are motivated and continou the good run. Pep can turn any team into a machine
They want to leave cos they’ve completed football. They’ve hit footballing immortality. It’s actually nice to see them play for smaller clubs to get that buzz again.
Aguero, Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho, Jesus, Sane, Sterling all came and went, Man City never got affected... So they'll be fine this time too
Well, some of the older players sense that they're about to be surpassed at this level of competition, and they're not wrong. City does have a legitimate need to seek out young talent and get them real playing time.
Agreed. Those seasoned players will be missed to a degree, but a rebuild is in progress. These players love to play football, not watch from a bench. They could be stars in another club that will start them every week for a few more years, or they can put their nose to the grindstone for Pep, only to watch someone 9 years younger take half or more of the starts.
players wanted put and bro really said "ok"
Pep is the best Coach ever!
Said by a Real Madrid fan. He doesn't Force anyone, so Man City could be the same even after years.
Liverpool should’ve snapped up Cancelo and Bernardo! Trent and Bernardo in midfield with McAllister and Szoboszlai 🔥🔥🔥

Trust me 😂
Rodri s grand return the next moral booster motivation
Playing at the highest level requires a lot of hard work and stress. while you will maybe successful, it doesn't mean you will be happy.
Mayonnaise on fries is underrated no cap
Good coaches find ways to reinvent their teams, and sadly it comes at the cost of getting rid of the players who have won everything. Ferguson did it for decades, and Pep himself did it at Barcelona. Nothing new here.
I really appreciate how they never force anyone to stay and if they want to leave they are free to do so
Yaya Toure explained best who and what Guardiola is, and if he is like that to everyone, which he probably is, then it is no wonder that many want to leave when they understand and feel it on their skin !!!
Players need new challenges. Winning titles in different countries is cool. I understand, but what about careers of players like: Maldini, Puyol, Totti, Xavi. For me their loyalty for clubs is something special.
i like Pep's mentality, strict and straight forward.
This is common with every team that has won it all and this is what makes Real Madrid 3 consecutive champions league magical
That is happening with all players who are playing in the beast team and they are wining couple of trophies every single year. Barcelona had the same problems, and the club didn't managed to fix those problems on time.
Alot of players at city have won everything they can in the english league, they want new challenges, haaland only needs a league cup and he completes the English league, then he'll be off to spain, probably.
Nobody wants to leave
julian alvarez left man City and joint Atletico Madrid recently and now ederson also wants to live the club
Who is watching this after city win title ❤❤❤
It's just like recent's time success of Liverpool ...
Players are same and they have lost hunger ... otherwise the quality they have is immeasurable
City's legacy, unlike any other team is winning under the shadow of legal shaming.
It's happened to Chelsea as well after winning the UCL they are too relaxed. Now most of the UCL winning players is leaving the club.
For example , he killed Kalvin Phillips’s confidence, not using him even when winning comfortably, Calling him fat and undisciplined in front of the whole world and then whenever Kalvin recovers from his mistreatment ( he will recover) do you think Kalvin will forget this unnecessary mistreatment? No, he will leave as soon as he feel Guardiola starts needing him the most. It is call Pay back !! Sweet revenge! Walker is enjoing that now.
Exactly! He did the same thing to Eto, Ronaldinho, Yaya Toure, etc. We still remember.
City has a lot of young players in queue... Combine it with those who stay will be sufficient...
"won't force anybody to stay" yeah, tell that to Bernardo Silva
Or maybe they expect huge punishment for the 115 charges against the club
Huge respect to madrid threepeat plyers...
But City are even at risk of being stripped of the three Premier League titles they won between 2012 and 2018.
The champions have challenged the 115 charges and the case was in the hands of the head of its “independent judicial panel”, Murray Rosen KC.
That’s how mangers build new teams youth players as well pep , ancelotty ,Fergie, klopp , paysley ,chroif , to name that few players will move on when they’ve won as much as they can with that one club and learnt from who ever managed them so they want a new challenge like everyone who wants a new job or goal in life
No matter what we will go strong!
Bernardo signed a new contract, Walker seems unlikely to leave. Yes, its true that City will let anyone who wants to leave, but realistically I doubt the players are trying to force themselves out except for Cancelo.
Cancelo also played in the preseason so I'm not sure if he has had a talk and is trying to play or something is going on behind the scenes
If anyone else wants a CL title they'd better get serious the next 2 years, I cant see City making a mess of this rebuild, they've already got a lot of the key parts there and their academy is really starting to produce results, not to mention how much money they've just taken of their wage bill, 2026 will be a terrifying year
After treble, their market is at all time high. People would pay top bucks for treble winner. Leaving now may get them their deal of life.
Others players who left the club didn't get game time
Only 2 important players were Bernado and Walker and they didn't leave
Gundo left 😢 but that's the place where Julian is playing now so it's quite balanced now😅
Nah, it's because their stock is high and they want more endorsements/money
As long as they have Haaland, Pep can easily build another championship team perhap even better.
Most of the players that want to leave are older players Gundogan himself has said the pace of the prem is to much for him now they also know Pep will be looking for fresh blood in the team and its them being the older who'll be heading f or the exit
Man City has been constantly changing their roster for years now. That's why the don't suffer from huge drops in performance like bayern, liverpool or recently real. They are rebuilding constantly.
The reason they want to leave is because no one is a full starter at City. They keep buying new talent every year and keep replacing players. They are not a real team. They are a bought success tea
The might exist many reasons for players to want to leave but I do believe that Pep’s demands and his arrogance makes them feel a bit uneasy
Very wrong assumption. If they don't rebuild you "ll discover that they'll quickly move from top to mediocre.
Pep is not a one player manager, it won't bring him down
Gundogan and Joao Cancelo came back to City, walker and bernardo silva are still there and city are back to square
Gundogan is back to Manchester City 😂
All the players you mentioned were at the tail end of their careers and contracts. Except Cancelo who was a trouble maker,so Pep had to get rid.
Reason.. none of them is playing for the club because they genuinely love the club. First reason is money, second, opportunity to win trophies is like huge.. Once they win everything there is no more motiviation for some of the players..
Going to barcelona or madrid is the best option they can choose. While Bayern, Liverpool, arsenal remain a good choice as well
Bernado wants to leave ages ago, he doesn't like the uk. Gundo wasn't happy about the length on the extension contract. City wants to sell cancelo, laporte, walker and mahrez are not happy with the game time. Even though I don't think walker and mahrez will leave.
It's the nature of the beast. Some of the players have been at City for years. Fresh players will boost the team. All the players mentioned have served the club well. Pep won't keep a player that wants to leave. I wish them all the best.
LET THEM COME TO SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY, THEY WILL BE INJURED FIRST WEEK, AND SACKED THE SECOND WEEK.
New Challenge is back to back Treble Winners. No club ever done this in modern era.
The difference between buying success and earning it ...under Ferguson United won year after year. City buy their titles and now everyone is bored.
and this is why sir Alex was soo successful despite having those leeches for owners. his own standards were soo high that he didnt let the players rest. thats why the dude won soo much without having no support.
