Hi, 🤗, Fiber with Olivia, This yarn you are talking about. Reminds me of a Casino. You know, The Bright Lights, the Sparkle. That kinda stuff. I pic this yarn in a pretty Oval Shape neckline for you& with short sleeves. Like a Night on the town. 🆒. I went there when I was a child with my Family to see someone sing & to Eat food. My joy. It was a vacation, time. I'm New to your channel. Cause I LOVE YARN & KNITTING, (By hand & Flatbed Knitting Machine) CROCHETING, Embroidery, Needlepoint, Hand Sew + Using Sewing machine. I love crafts. And Cats & Kittens. But, all of mine passed away. I had 10, then 8, & now None. There in Heaven with God & Jesus, making them Happy, now. Blessings to you. And your Family. 🙏. Sincerely, Elsa R. 64 yrs. young/old woman. From out in California. PSS. I'm not sure how old you are? But, are you around my age younger or older? I don't know. (Your T-shirt has a Gay flag. 🆒🆒🆒👍. I'm not Gay or Lesbian. I'm straight. But, I think those people are Beautiful in my eyes. That's how God made them or they wouldn't of been that way. This month June is Pride Kickoff Month. 🤔😉🙄🙂🆒🆒🆒👋. I will definitely watch your videos. Cause, you like Yarn & Crafts.👋.
I inventoried all my yarn on Ravelry. You can then find it by colour, weight, date of purchase etc. You can even take a picture and add it to the entry. It took a few hours in the beginning but it is a stash saver…
I did that for years and it is amazing because you can find patterns ideas for your yarn too! But when life got crazy and we moved I kinda stopped. I was considering adding the ones not in there already but, yes, that will take a few more hours. 😆
Olivia, that Moda Dea, the Saffron fused with that Colorfushion would make a great poncho, or a shawl, don't be afraid to mix those colors. The Homespun can be great for a cardigan.
Olivia you have had sitting here in just AWE of all your yarn. I love the ones you have enough to make something. Those woolies think and quick are just so pretty. That novelty ribbon yarn makes the pattern on the label a scarf you can wear year round. I adore those 2 burnt orange from your friend. I enjoy watching but some of those i.dont know why you just bought 1 skein unless you.made projects and had 1 left.
Hi Charlene! Aww thank you! It was fun to review what I had. ☺️ You know what? When I was editing the video I started to remember some of the makes with some of the yarn. Yes, a lot of them were leftover skeins from projects I’ve made in the past. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Xoxo 🥰
What a cute cabinet of yarn! I have mine in tubs in the garage. Also, in a small home. I do have a project bag assortment on the side of the couch that no one can see, but, me. ;) That was fun going through all the yarn and hearing your daughter's voice in the background. love, hugs, prayers.
Hi Barbara! Thank you! 🙏🏽💕 I used to have mine in tubs in the garage too. I would constantly be asking my poor husband to bring me this tub or that tub. I think he was more excited than I was when I finally brought the yarn inside! 🤣🤣 One day I may convince my daughter to say hello but she was too shy this time. ☺️☺️
Lovely video! I love lion brand wool ease thick and quick and I use it to make hats! So maybe you can make a beanie because it definitely keeps your head warm and it’s wonderful! I’m always glad when you post :)
Thank you so much - so very kind of you! 🙏🏽💕☺️ That’s a great idea to make some hats with that LB Thick & Quick! Let me know if you have any fave hat patterns! xoxo
I'm fixing to move from Texas to Indiana and I have over a 150 totes of yarn and have no clue where I'm going to put it..moving into smaller house..I have been giving some of it away to a friend here on UA-cam...I never thought a yarn addiction was a real thing but it is 😢
Hi Bonnie! Good luck with your move! I recommend big clear plastic containers. This way you can see what yarn is inside once you’re settled in in Indiana. After I moved from Florida back home to California and was settled in, I did review all my yarn and donated a lot of it too. I only kept the yarn I could not let go of. Oh and I like to think that I’m a yarn collector but who am I kidding it IS a yarn addiction! 😂🤣
I finally got all my yarn in the same location and some days I look at it and say OMG too much yarn, and some times I look at it and estimate the number of projects and think it’s not so bad, but I am definitely stashbusting this year. Doing a scrap CAL with #cocoscrochetCAL2023 along with your MAL
It feels so good to have all our yarn in one place doesn’t it? (You’re right a tad of stress too 😂). But it totally motivates me to stash bust for sure! Will go peek at the other cal! Can’t wait to see your MAL item! Xoxo
I need to do the same. I have so much yarn in bags, boxes, and even loose in my storage closet. I need to pull it all out redo the fallen shelves and reorganize everything. Are you logging your yarn in an app or spreadsheet? I need something to keep track of what I actually have, lol.
Do it! It feels so good to be reminded of everything in our stash! I’m so motivated to continue with my destash projects. I had stopped entering my yarn in ravelry and was considering entering everything in but I may look into apps! I’ve heard of them but haven’t really looked into them. Let me know if you e heard of any good ones!
