The main reasons for western countries such as UK, France, Germany, USA to object and reject the Uganda Pipeline project after initially wanted to invest money are, jealousy of African countries will be independently on their own natural energy source, the colonial attitude towards black African nations, look down their capabilities to developing countries, and racism. Luckily China comes in to help this great project for many African countries!

I think turning away from the white settler colonialism is THE best thing Africa could do. If there was a way they could stand together they would be a very, very powerful force in the world. For too long, African countries have been exploited and it not right. I think the BRICS alliance can be a force for good in Africa.

I live here. Anything the Chinese touches goes south, and we still have to pay for it! If you think BRICS can be good for Africa, then you have not done any homework; China is for the China period, they now own EBB international airport and well as several long-term mineral concessions, they give debt to take resources and that it, just like Russia.

Uganda shifting to China and Russia is the best decision that they can make . China and Russia are straightforward partners who are working towards success where it will be a win-win situation. It’s never good in dealing with two-faced, backstabbing western countries unless the western countries can steal their resources. The west will make up false information such as environmental and human rights issues in an effort to contain Uganda. The western countries may think they’re ‘smart’. But Uganda is not dumb !

@@Kaihegon Wow, you are saturated with USA anti China propaganda. Do you know how the countries pay back? You obviously have no idea. Let me type this slowly, in the hopes that we can set you free from you the iron maiden you've been locked into. When a country agrees to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) China builds the a AI Robotic Smart Trading Port (Land, air and/or sea). Then China gets 51% of the increased revenue from the new Port they built. After 20 years, the Country gets to keep 100% of the AI Robotic Smart Trading Port. Unlike USA debt trap where USA keeps printing off USD's and devalues all USD's around the world. There are many African Countries that have paid off their USD debt 3 times over, and yet, after 100 years, they're still got the same debt they had when they first started, 100 years ago. Also, the success of China's BRI is incredible. There are now 157 Countries on the BRI (out of 197 Countries in the world), and more a signing up. So what does USA have? About 30 countries in their Military alliance, and countries are dropping out because they're sick and tired of USA constant provocations for war, just so their 1% of the population can maintain 90% of their Countries wealth? So, what do you get out of it? Do you have a High Speed National Rail network? No? Do you have a Space Station? No? Do you have EV's sold to you at $8,000? No? Then, pray tell, why are you ready to go to war when you get nothing out of it ... apart from being the pawn for the 1% to get their profits.

One way to run down China vast US$ holding. China should be willing to extend credits at preferential interest rate to Africa in exchange for projects such as mining rights etc, Africa would have significant savings in interest payment and Ch8na would get a higher return on its dollar funds. To achieve this Africa must cherish China relations and nurture long term trust free from domestic politics. More importantly Africa must respect sanctity of contractual obligations and upon project completion, should work towards paying off China loans systematically and make itself worthy of continued China business trust.

Yes, Africans have a lot of resources on the continent, but what has happened to them over the past few thousand years??
So the problem is not that Africans lack resources, but that they lack the knowledge to use those resources.
This is why Africa needs China and even non-European countries to help them develop their economic and education.

Thank you for your video. My love to my African continent makes me to have a great respect for countries like China, Saudi Arabia, and any other countries that really care about Africa, helping African countries to develop even more further. Unlike countries which take African leaders like stupid people.I think in this video, the Africans countries people, understand how the above mentioned countries are prepared to help the people of Africa,. as they are doing that for the African countries people, but not only for the African government and leaders, unlike other countries which most of the time those countries comes with a bribe to our government and our leaders, as the government of that particular country wants something which is being considered stupid or unacceptable by the other Fellow African leaders or people in exchange of a hidden money, which is going to make them to benefit from that money, but not the people, as they sometimes are using the countries resources to benefiting whatever they might have made an agreement with. Therefore such money is considered a dirty money because that money, the only beneficiaries are their families but not the community, where many of such incidents are well familiar to the African population, which shows the people how stupid our leaders are. I Therefore salute countries like China, Saudi Arabia, including other countries which puts African continent on the map. Therefore if the government and the African leaders doesn't recognise what China, Saudi Arabia and the other countries which are doing the same, are doing, then the people of Africa should forget about their government and their leaders, as those people are already addicted to corruption.

Or better yet, wonder when Africa will stand up as simply a participant in the global economy, "colonizing" others just as much as it is "colonized" itself.

Many countries no longer want to transact in international trade using the US Dollar, and the Euro as a second currency is automatically abandoned because they are US allies ... because of US arrogance that the US can easily embargo any country. The result is that these two currencies are certain to fall, the core concern of the US and EU is that they will no longer be able to finance military bases US-NATO which has nearly 1000 military bases around the world, which means the domination of the "west" over the world militarily will end. The world must be aware of the frustration of the "west"
US selling out their US$ hegemony for US$300billion. Cheap cheap
wAr-merica is the best advertiser for BRICS the Russians and Chinese could ever hope for...US Treasury bonds are already struggling to sell. Good luck finding buyers once they realize it can be confiscated in a moment's notice.
Chinese sold tons of US treasury already
No nation will trust the US again after the illegal theft of $ 300 billion of Russian assets. This will seriously impact the world financial system and the US dollar.
As big as 300 billion is ; Russia knew that by winning over the non-western world was a much bigger stake financially and politically!!
This will only accelerate the de-dollarization . The spiral downward is unstoppable
