Painting the floor may cause more problems by not allowing air to dry out a wet floor. Swift put a vinyl coat on motorhome floors years back. The problem was that water splashed up from the road was soaked into the sides of the ply which was the retained due to the vinyl. My Bailey that I bought new in 2013 had wet corners underneath and water stains along the sides. I found the fault and recorded it on my phone as it happened. Bailey were not interested. My damp was due to the fact that if you looked underneath at the side edge there was a plastic lip that sat over the edge of the timber floor .It was about 1/2 inch wide. It ran from the wheel arch to front corner and then wheel arch to rear corner on both sides. If I sprinkled water on the top of the wheel arch from the side of the van water would run down and find it's way to the open ended lip. It would run along the lip to the front or back corner depending on the level of the van. In the corners there were clear plastic sheaths that would hold water against the floor and go green. More water sprayed on the side of the van would overload the lip underneath and as it was so close th the timber the water would touch the floor and start leach into the timber. This would happen every time it was washed or it rained. Sitting the van perfectly level on the drive seemed to slow it down. Bailey were not interested. I sold the van to a Dotcom company at 6 years old as the corners were just starting to soften. Damp tests done during servicing only covered the floor inside. Only one corner inside could be tested due to a shower tray rear and two lockers front wtith GRP floors. My damp tests underneath in the corners went off the scale. Even in summer.

I have a 2015 Unicorn. Is there a replacement composite floor on the market?

Awful that they continue to use wooden floors. Just unacceptable.

Maybe it's time for a "my diesel claim" type of class action, I only bought a Bailey because I was assured it was the best design to prevent water ingress, but it's built on a plywood floor!
They call it "composite". that's a misrepresentation. Its a plywood and foam sandwich, clearly it's designed to life-limit the 'van.

Bailey have been making leaky caravan bodies for years they are over priced junk I speak from experience bad design and appalling build quality. The wheel arches were black painted ply wood and the balanced flu for the fire would get soaked with water from the wheels when it rained therefore the burner would not light.

I agree they should have had recalls on them but by the time you find out its to late .the camping caravan club should be getting members together for a class action against these people
