I recently returned from a two week trip to England. I spent a week in London and a week in Bath. My week in London was pure joy! Several days I spent just wandering the city like you did and I went on that exact boat and had a drink on a sunny day in September! It is a fabulous place to sit on the river, and watch all the world go by ❤❤❤
We did a 10 day land visit of the country of England many years ago on own. It was awesome! Like you we had no plans in the cities we visited. We had a fantastic time!
Loved waking up to a new video about your time in London! You two are seriously some of my favorite vloggers! I'm going to London in 2024, and have seen your videos from your previous trip, and thought they were great, but I also like that you are able to revisit and just take in the simple things too.
The Tattershall Castle was one of a set of steam powered ferries that ran over the river Humber from New Holland to Hull. Ridden on it many times before they built , at the time, the largest single span suspension bridge in the world - the Humber Bridge. Nice to see it wasnt scrapped.
Great work as always! We are headed over for our 25th anniversary for 4 days and then doing the transatlantic sailing on the Sun Princess in September! We are so excited!
I live in London Ontario Canada and we have a Thames River as well. All our city streets are names of streets in London England. Like Piccadilly, Wellington, St.James, Dundas to name a few. So happy to see you have some good weather finally.
do u have recreations of any monuments, cause if so, and if putin does lose to ukraine and does really nuke london, ur gonna start getting a lot of tourists who would've gone to london instead
I'm a Londoner, and like many others, I tend to take what we have for granted. It's good to see an outsider's view. I love your videos of London, saw the ones when you were last here. Please come again.
Just came across your channel by chance & as an Englishman, am proud to hear you enjoyed your time in London once again. The country is crammed with history & culture. The beautiful National Parks, the Cotswolds & northern cities such as Liverpool & York are well worth a visit
Best city ………in the World!! Maybe I’m a little bit biased, but it has a vibe all its own. Been to NY twice and loved it,vibrant bustling city, but my hometown takes it,it’s like an open air historical theme park with more green spaces and parks than any other major city. If you can’t find what you want in London,it don’t exist.
That was brilliant. Followed all your London adventures and glad to see you retained your enthusiasm. In fact, it looks like you had a better time this time around - maybe a more chill and relaxed experience for you?
Absolutely loved London! We stayed at Hilton Hyde park for 10 days of pure bliss. Concerts like Guns N’ Roses, pretenders and Springsteen were there when we went end of June going into July. Hyde park was amazing. Bath and the castles were unbelievable! Can’t wait to go back.
I have been following you two throughout all your stops. I really enjoyed all of them, but London was my favorite. I enjoy when you two go off on your own, it’s always a good time. Thank You For The Great Videos You Put Out ❤
What a great way to spend a couple of days in London. I think it's one of the greatest cities in the world.. looks like you guys know how to drink like the English too!
There’s a few Mr Fogg’s venues in London and they’re all Victorian themed around aspects of Around The World in 80 Days - very apt for a couple of seasoned travellers such as yourselves!
Just a couple of minutes walk from where you were listening to those musicians is the Royal Opera House, sometimes some of the musicians, and singers too, will perform in the market. So you may have been lucky to see some of them perform. I watched your videos from your last visit to our country and really enjoyed them, so i'm really pleased to see you back. i hope you had a wonderful time.
I can see why you keep going back to London, it has it all and is a Maga City, to put it in perspective, it's nearly 3 times the size of New York. It has so much to see and do.
Really enjoyed this. You were lucky with the weather. Next time if you have time try to check out less touristy neighbourhoods such as Bloomsbury, Holland Park, Hampstead, St. James’, Chelsea, Belgravia, Marylebone and places like Regent’s Park, Hampton Court Palace, and Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Lots of beautiful architecture and history around every corner.
Great video yet again. Probably one of the best, love it when you just wing it. Worse thing is I live in East London and you do more than I do in the city in 2 days than I do in 2 years 😂👍🏻
We are headed to London the 2nd week of October 2024. I have watched your videos over and over and taken notes. Can't wait to try some of the places you tried and loved. Thank you for the video!
Firstly can I say that I love your sightseeing priorities. I think every tourist-trap needs to be mitigated with a Pub stop. I'm a Brit. I did a lot of European travelling (plus living in Minnesota) as part of my job about 20-30 years ago, with IBM. I ended up with "Cathedral Fatigue". and got bored with amazing buildings. So ...... I changed my sightseeing methodology and started finding a cafe, pub, or bar, with a view of the famous monument. I can happily spend a couple of hours, with a cold bottle of white wine, just watching people milling around the tourist monument. The backstreets are where the true city lives. It's a wonderful way of getting slowly drunk. Also, re. Classical Musicians busking. I spoke to one of them a while back. He said he can't come close to his busking money by playing professionally. He reckoned that a professional gig can give a bit of security but busking on the street can pay way more.
You probably haven't given it a thought but you looked at the Uber river taxi. 2000 years ago you would have probably been looking at Roman Galleys, Triremes and trading vessels there. They have found evidence of extensive Roman warehousing along the river.
The lean on the Elizabeth Tower was clear in some of your shots, it was underpinned during the recent renovations so now won't fall over. That part of the City of Westminster was once marshland pre Roman times. It was also the first time the clock was removed and fully restored. The chimes during the time it was away were a speaker broadcast recording triggered by the UK Atomic Clock but was silent for most of the time except for special occasions such as Remembrance Day.
I’m wondering. Because you showed the coaster. Do you happen to save the coasters from around the world. That’s some thing that I have collected along with matches. I have this big huge glass bucket of matches from all around the world.
It's great that you've mastered the pronunciation of 'Thames'! But to complete your assimilation, you need to know that in the UK, we put the word "River" before the name of the river, not after. So it's the "River Thames", not the "Thames River". I'm not really sure why we do that, but there you go! 😄 And I'm sure you've worked out that the Uber boats don't work in the same way as Uber cars! Locals generally know them as Thames Clippers, but they just happen to currently be sponsored by Uber. You may also already know that the Golden Hind ship you saw is a replica built in the 1970s. My parents and I did a tour of it when it was being built, down in Appledore in Devon, around 1974 or 1975.
I had heard that the London Bridge that is now in Arizona, Still has its original street lamps that where made from captured weapons from past Battles. Some History right there.
We loved London. I hope to go back spend time on land in London, Scotland and Northern England. We found the Londoners very friendly so I tell folks don't believe what you hear about the people in London. We stayed in Westminster and one night ate in the cutest little Italian place. Everyone walked in and some knew each other it was good food and friendly people.
You must have liked it a lot the last time you were here because I've been watching your first-time videos which were posted just a year ago. Now you're back after 9 months.! I think we'll have to find a little house for you, probably somewhere close to one of the food markets you like. Then dee how much weight you put on.!!!!
At what hotel did you stay while in London. We're going in May. Loved your video. You guys were on our Alaska cruise June '23 on the Koningsdam and I ran into you near the buffet.
Well turns out (according to ancestry.com) and us sending in our DNA, that we come from England and Northwestern Europe. Got some Scottish in there and Irish well!
You 2 make London look really good but you should visit North West England, I am an hour from the Lake District 15 minutes from Liverpool, but you 2 are really cool people........
Hi....Jason, can you tell me where you got that hat you were wearing that had the patchwork print on it? My bf wants one to wear on our trip to England, Scotland and Ireland next July.❤❤
They’re called flat caps, if that helps you find one online. Almost every men’s clothing shop here in UK sells them. Maybe he can buy one as a souvenir when he’s here? That particular type would be a bit out of season for July though - far too hot! You can get thinner summer versions.
A “British Aisles cruise”? Never knew they existed! I am from London so I suppose they wouldn’t be targeting me but still 😂 (I used to work on the Tattershall Castle boat/pub when I was studying 27 years ago ;) There are downstairs inside spaces that are warmer 😂 P.S. you guys did London right 👍 have a bit of a plan but go where it takes you and have a few pints/half pints along the way 🍺 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
The American that bought London Bridge thought he was getting Tower Bridge as he said, "I wanna buy that London Bridge!". So the Brits said okay and made a load of money for a dreary bridge hahaha Bless.
Good story, but McCulloch knew exactly what he was buying. He bought the exterior facings from the Victorian London Bridge and fitted them to a new bridge at Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Amazing how the old and historic structures were spared by the 56 day bombing raids by Germany. I suppose Germany realized how important they were and didn’t want them destroyed for when their visualization of final occupation prevailed.
They destroyed a lot of the city of London. St Paul's was bombed as was Parliament and Buckingham Palace. There was no intent to spare anything. In fact Germany launched the Biedecker raids on British cities which specifically targeted the highest rated historic buildings in Biedecker guide books, in retaliation for allied bombing raids.
Yes you are pronouncing 'Thames' correctly now, but it's usually referred to as 'the Thames' or 'the River Thames', rather than 'the Thames River'. Just thought you'd like to know for your next trip...🙂

If you ever tire of London, you’re tired of life. I never tire of London. ❤️

You guys are living the lives I SO wish we could! But at least we can live vicariously through you both…

It’s our favorite city so we will definitely be back!
It is British nature to see the cup as half empty. I think the mostly overcast weather plays a big role in making people grumpy.
I love London. Can't wait to get back!
So pleased you're enjoying my own country ❤ your vlogs 🙏🇬🇧

Going back there next year. Got to take dad to his beloved West Ham United for the first time. (And my Liverpool FC)
May as well stop the trip after West Ham as it won’t get any better than that 😂⚒️

That was brilliant. Followed all your London adventures and glad to see you retained your enthusiasm. In fact, it looks like you had a better time this time around - maybe a more chill and relaxed experience for you?
You gave me some good ideas. We're doing a day and a half in London before our cruise in July 2024

Great vlog. We have a London and Paris trip planned. We will try a mix of freestyling like you have done and a couple planned things.
Great video. Trivia. The pub ”Mr Fogg’s Tavern” takes its name from the Jules Verne’s character in ”Around the World in Eighty Days”.
What a great way to spend a couple of days in London. I think it's one of the greatest cities in the world.. looks like you guys know how to drink like the English too!
Guided tours are a great way to experience this historic big city 🤩.
YES! One of my favourite cities too.. Glad you had a great time! :)

Love the way you freestyle. You are right!!! That's when the magic happens. Another great video.
good to have you back, I hope you have a great time
We have been in London around thanksgiving. After thanksgiving the Christmas market starts and Christmas decorations everywhere
It’s Britain and we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving .. 👍🇬🇧
We knew that no thanksgiving happens in Britain. We had a nice turkey dinner at a pub in Nottingham.
I can see why you keep going back to London, it has it all and is a Maga City, to put it in perspective, it's nearly 3 times the size of New York. It has so much to see and do.
The Tattershall castle used to be a passenger ferry on the Humber.
Really enjoyed this. You were lucky with the weather. What a joyful couple. I could watch them all day. Great tour of a great city 😊
You have done more in London in 48 hours than i have done in living 5 hours away. Love your videos. MAJOR FAN OF YOU 2 GUYS LOTS OF FUN VIDEOS ❤
Awesome video as always - We'll be in London in May for a few days before our Ireland cruise. Can't wait!
your right..touring in freestyle and not planned. I did the same and I loved it, everywhere I went I saw something or learned something...love london

I was on the Tattershall castle boat for new years eve a few years ago it felt you wre part of the display .the best view without the crowds
Welcome back, good to see you again🇬🇧
Might i suggest a longer trip next time

I’m gonna be visiting London again next year and it’s Heathrow Airport
Went to London last November when you guys where there last August? and loved loved loved It❤🏰🎡🍺
I hope you did the cashmere shop on Trafalgar Square. Cheap prices, lovely scarves and shawls. The crown jewels were amazing.
I can't wait for my trip to London in March! Lol except for a couple of things, I'm just wandering.
I’m wondering. Because you showed the coaster. Do you happen to save the coasters from around the world. That’s some thing that I have collected along with matches. I have this big huge glass bucket of matches from all around the world.

Guys, i was from oxford, and we actually went to that ship the golden hinde on a school trip back in 1973,
We really enjoyed this video!
i had my Birthday on the boat and i also work right outside the pub you watched the game at
Love these videos keep up the great work
I had heard that the London Bridge that is now in Arizona, Still has its original street lamps that where made from captured weapons from past Battles. Some History right there.
There are loads of railings around Westminster made from captured weapons
The performers at Covent Garden have to apply to perform and have an audition.
Nice hat Jason. Been meaning to comment on it bud.
The Golden Hind was Sir Walter Raleigh's ship.
No, it was Sir Francis Drake's ship. The ship on display is a modern reconstruction.
I sat at that very table this past summer but I had one of their Gin & tonics with a slice of cucumber.
We loved London. I hope to go back spend time on land in London, Scotland and Northern England. We dont say The Thames river.. just The Thames.. there are hundreds of gems if only you leave the tourist areas
You must have liked it a lot the last time you were here because I've been watching your first-time videos which were posted just a year ago.

One thing I knew for sure is that they werent going to do a tour of Pembury Estate in Hackney lol!

The greatest city in the world.
Hi....Jason, can you tell me where you got that hat you were wearing that had the patchwork print on it? My bf wants one to wear on our trip to England, Scotland and Ireland next July.❤❤
I got it at a market In Dublin Ireland!
They’re called flat caps, if that helps you find one online. Almost every men’s clothing shop here in UK sells them. Maybe he can buy one as a souvenir when he’s here? That particular type would be a bit out of season for July though - far too hot! You can get thinner summer versions.
You can get a day pass for the Red bus that is a hop on hop off bus that will take you around. Fantastic to get to all you want to see.
HoHo buses
Don't pay for the tourist bus. Just get on normal buses. I think it's the no 11 takes you to all the tourist spots.
Lovely video xx

I have to ask.... What brand is the blue rain jacket you are wearing? I LOVE IT!!!! Love watching y'all!
Not sure. I bought it in Scotland. I love it too!
It was a hot summer in England.........
What Fun!!!
One of Sean’s grandmas still had a chain flush toilet up to a few years ago 😂
It's called the river Thames. Like your video😀
You’ve ticked off another traditional English activity....a pub crawl!!
The best team won the Rugby world cup South Afric🎉🎉🎉🎉 and yes im from South africa❤
What hotel did you stay at in London? Great videos BTW!
I ❤ your flat cap!
Great video ❤❤❤❤
You guys would fit right in if you lived in the UK. Have a pint with everything!
You forgot something! You forgot to take me😢
😅😅😅
We have a (sort of) version of pot pie here in England, called a cornish pasty. Meat, potatoes, veggies in pastry 😊 its really good 👍🏻
Cornish pasty is beef skirt, potato, onion and swede.

Should do Jack the Ripper tour
I saw Nessi in London river
Was he lost?
