I'm so sorry, I KNOW how you feel and what you are going through. And I only have one felony for possession of a narcotic. The job hires me and then takes it back when HR checks it. They treat me like I'm a child molester. I'm ready to check out
My issue is never the interview. Its company policy. Ive been told MANY times “id like to hire you but your background doesnt permit you to work here.”
This is my problem as well, If I get the call back I usually nail the interview. I have never brought up my convictions, I figure that if they didn't ask maybe it's not a big deal but lately I think that is part of the reason why I am being turned down I believe it's mostly company policy however I have been thinking maybe if they don't ask about it but I give them a heads up before hand maybe they won't be as surprised when they see it on there but I don't know if it will make a difference none the less thankfully my expungement is coming up soon but these past couples years after getting off probation has been tough I figured once I completed probation then it would be behind me but boy was I wrong its been 5 years since conviction and almost 3 years since completing probation successfully and I have not been able to get a job paying more 1-2k a month with isn't terrible but in the High cost of living area that I reside in its far from enough.

They filed charges? Or you were just arrested
Were the jobs related to your offense? For example, accounting when you had a embezzlement conviction?
