- The new National Museum opens in Oslo in 2022. The new museum will be a place for new ideas, inspiration and significant cultural experiences. Large new exhibition spaces will allow the National Museum to display more of its collection than ever before.
In the new permanent exhibition, older and modern art, architecture, design, crafts and contemporary art will be presented under one roof, highlighting new connections.
The architectural competition for the new museum building was won by the firm Kleihues + Schuwerk for its forum artis proposal.

I have only ever seen “The Scream,” and not any of his other works. What an important service you do for us, Elsa! When I can make it to Norway, hopefully next year, I will be sure to see what they have on view, in person.
