- The making of 'Imprints' - Scandinavia's largest ceramic sculpture park at Fornebuporten (Opening in 2016).
The sculpture park consists of works solely by Norwegian artist Magne Furuholmen and is the largest collection of ceramic works in Scandinavia today. Totaling more than 50 tons of clay, the park consists of individual objects placed together as a thematic whole with the material as a contrast to the ultramodern glass- and aluminum-coated facades of the surrounding Fornebuporten buildings.
The largest objects are 6 metres tall and weigh around 9 tons each. The sculptures are placed both in freestanding positions as well as in granite-pools, with the use of water and steam as atmospheric elements to reflect the changing seasons of the year.

This is really great to see. Watching Magne create these sculptures is a very interesting little window into his creative side. He was gorgeous in his 20's and I'd say even more gorgeous now. What a talented man. Morten and Paul are too. Such creative souls. Also his fame from a-ha isn't the only thing that has helped his success, it's made a difference of course, but he was drawing, and being drawn to art when he first started a-ha with Paul and Morten. I've seen a brilliant sketch of a church he did in a-ha's infancy days. And Morten created a beautiful woodcarving of a women's body no bigger than your hand. I find Mags the sexy one, rather than Morten. Mags is very underrated ❤️😍
I agree - always wondered why Morten got all the attention … Morten was certainly very attractive, but Magne was drop dead gorgeous! 🥰🥰🥰 (However, I know Magne and Pål were both quite happy *not* to get all the attention Morten did over physical appearance, which I completely understand!) And his keyboard riffs were just as stunning as he was - they literally made me weep when I first heard EOTSWOTM - and should have received far more respect, *particularly* from Pål. Without them, a-ha’s songs would have been a very different thing, and perhaps never have become hits at all. Meanwhile, I also think Morten deserved far more credit from Pål because his voice is so unique and spectacular that the second you hear the first note, you know it’s him singing - which brought just as much recognition to a-ha when any of their songs played as Magne’s keyboard riffs did and identified a-ha’s songs forever.
@@hello-vs4dcI had this discussion with a fellow fan once who swore Morten was the best looking man in the world. She said it is “Mathematically proven” because his facial features are perfectly even on both sides. 🤔😁
Okay, I told her that’s fine. She and all the many others can pay attention to Morten. I would happily pay attention to and even comfort Magne about it instead 😂😂
@@hello-vs4dcactually waaktaar is a mediocre musician. It can easily be proven by his solo stuff. Dreadful. Just dreadful. Pal is nothing without Mags. And that's a fact.
