Todd is interesting because he is mckay combined with shepherd brains of a scientist but a true warrior and he is old by wraith standards which is impressive he is confirmed to be as old or older then quite a few Queens aswell and holds nearly as much sway as a queen which is impressive since most hives will only follow a queen but he rallied 6
I just imagine Todd saying his adventures to others wraiths: .. And them I asked them to shake our hands! 😂😂😂😂😂you should see their face!! They were😲!!!
I actually really liked Todd. He was a fun character and his interaction with Shepard made me see the wraith in a slightly different light. Still mainly enemies, but I understood the survival aspect of them. Kinda like how you wouldn't fault a tiger for eating something but you'd still try to defend yourself against an attacking tiger.
@@truefanforum3273 oh yea, that part is valid. It was more when Todd explained to Shephard what it feels like to a wraith to not eat. You sorta realize that, sick enjoyment or not, they have to do it. So even if all the wraith changed their dispositions and became nice, they'd still need to feed.
@@PipFraggle Couldn't they feed on animals or try to only take a little from humans? Maybe create a system where humans they partially feed on are taken care of? You can see that in vampire stories where vampires try to be good.
@True Fan Forum They discuss it in other episodes that other kinds of food cant sustain them. They solely rely on humans. I suppose they could set up such a system. But that could still be seen as akin to slavery. I always thought they should have changed the wraith to humans using g the retro serum. Then had kind of a thing of, "yep, you were wraith, now your human. You can eat other stuff now that aren't humans. If you don't like it we'll shoot you because we don't want to be eaten
@@truefanforum3273Keller's research can have them still be wraith but without the need to feed with more thought and work it can succeed unless they are finally free and can eat and live well like any other organism.
The Tok'ra (hope I got the spelling correct) solved that problem by creating a truly symbiotic relationship with the host. Not just kidnapping people and saying "Yeah, I'm just going to move into your skull now. Sucks to be you." As for the Wraith, I wonder if they could feed off other creatures? Or at least not torment their prey before feeding.
I would like to hear Chris speak Norwegian. He actually does as far as I know. (Norwegian over here). He is close family of the explorer Thor Heyerdahl.
I think part of the voice was done in editing. The only other thing I can think off is speak from the bottom of your throat and try to add a rasp. I'm trying it and I can feel a little vibration in the hollow of my throat. I'm not a professional voice actor so I might be way off.
ok so about that shake hands, am i the only one who would actually do that? he either could have shake their hands and be cool with it, make us believe he will really keep his word, or take few years, probably only months off me, and die. Sounds like clear choice for me.
Wraith wasnt that bad they just needed to eat almost like we eat chicken. are we that different? what if chicken tell us do not eat them, do we stop? why should we wait until they tell us to stop? I personally love chicken and I will keep eating it, but if some day an intelligent race starts eating humans I will not call them devil or maybe yes and we are devil.
Also makes you wonder the wraith were clearly advanced technologically mass cloning of humans would not be impossible for them fixed steady food supply(morally terrible for the clones )but leaves rest of galaxy alone.
My favourite is: "I hope they taste as delicious as the farmers who grew them" 😁
Yes, I agree.
lol i commented the same then scrolled down to see u shared the same sense of humor... that was smoothly projected as his best.
Todd is my favorite of the Wraith. Lol
His sense of humor is overshadowed only by his wits and will.
You mean, you like him more than.... ermm... Nameless Wraith Enemy #32

Todd the Wraith stole virtually every scene he was in and practically made the show.
I just imagine Todd saying his adventures to others wraiths: .. And them I asked them to shake our hands! 😂😂😂😂😂you should see their face!! They were😲!!!
Todd the fuckin best😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Todd; the most human of all Wraith.
i hope the fruit tastes as good as the farmers that grew them....gets me every time hahahahha
I'm sorry but that handshaking joke was funny ^^
The sigh of satisfaction at the end of his laugh.
Todd's face was like: "Oh come on, it was a little funny"
Of all the characters played by Christopher Heyerdahl in the Stargate franchise, this one is the best.
I feel like mid to late SG1 Sam would have appreciated Todd's handshake joke more.
I always thought that she should have shaken his hand, both to show that she didn't fear him, and as a show of good faith.

Just put on some gloves first. Or maybe a medieval gauntlet.
Authority does weird stuff to a mofo
Todd was one of the stand out characters in atlantis, I love wraith humor, watching these clips has been a highlight of my day.
Todd is great character.
Sense of honor...
And sense of humor...
Todd is just awesome.
Please State The Nature Of Your Wraith Emergency
The handshake joke.....omg.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Good one.

But tigers don't get sick enjoyment out of tormenting their prey before they eat.

It does introduce interesting dilemmas with the goa’uld requiring hosts and the wraith requiring food. Stargate did pretty well on that account.

@True Fan Forum you spelled it correctly
@@douglasallar9176 Whew. I wasn't sure. Thanks.
Heyerdahl is awesome
4:00 lmao the perfect line would have been: sorry, old habit
Todd likes Atlantis more than being with the other wraith😊
Todd is ICONIC!!!
Teal'c and Todd would be best friends 😂
i hope they prove as delicious as the farmers who grew them.... LOL epic!
I really wanted a scene where somebody actualy shakes his hand.....
SGA was the DS9 of the series of series, unfortunately it got killed to early and they followed it up with a worse version of Voyager.
I missed them all
you’re saying you didn’t get a single joke in this video

1- question
How in the hellllllll do I get a voice like that?
Howwwwwwww
I wanna make a cosplay!!! 😊

His laugh was creepy
4 minutes 12 seconds straight, such an inaccurate title, god damn clickbait xD

Except for the fact that when Wraith "eat" you, you're still alive.
I don't know by the time my food tells me to stop I would reconsider and look for other choices.
Also makes you wonder the wraith were clearly advanced technologically mass cloning of humans would not be impossible for them fixed steady food supply(morally terrible for the clones )but leaves rest of galaxy alone.
There's an episode of SG-1 that deals with the ethics of using humans compared to animals.
umm the real Brian Ellinger has mother.
and these gangsters do some twisted sht.,.. and that isn't even the real Todd that I knew from oh
Christopher Heyerdahl. I haven't seen him in a role I didn't like. :D
SGA had such promise..... they killed it with bad writing
