I think my favorite actor right now, he makes you forget his PUBLIC IMAGE, and he lures you into the story through his acting, and he makes you forget he is Sam Rockwell !!!
Fosse/Verdon was terrific! Two great actors in Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams. I haven’t seen anything as well done, or well acted as F/V. I knew who both Bob and Gwen were, but they were aging Broadway icons in my young years. I can imagine Sam and Michelle probly nailed their persona, talent and complicated relationship. Watch Fosse/Verdon!
yessss! me too!! I got to see him perform on Broadway a few years ago. Wish the play would have been three hours long. Wish I could have gone again. He is so dynamic and charismatic. ❤️
God, he's darling. The most talented actor out there. I wish more interviews ended with the subject saying "That would make my heart soar like a hawk.".
He's so humble I love him in Fosse/verdon. I watched stricly business ( the 90's movie with Halle berry) and wanted to see " were are they now" for the actors in the movie. I was pleasantly surprised, because his roll was so limited in it. That he is and would become the great thespian he is now
Yes, he did, but he cannot dance. All the dancing scenes with him are shot from far away, so it's probably a dance double. Rockwell, as contrasted with that...But I LOVE All that Jazz; it's got a wicked sense of humor.
I LOVE "that guys." They make the movies and TV shows work. You are making your mark, Sam - keep doing what you are doing. I have been a fan for years, and it is always good to see you. You are courageous and skilled and amazing. PS - I would love to know what research you did for "Galaxy Quest."
Sam is compelling and heartbreaking in every role! Laggies, Box of Moonlight, and Lawn Dogs showcase some of his finest character pieces, in my opinion.
Sam Rockwell is the most underrated actor on the planet. He nails every role! Plus he's cute. Sam Rockwell is the only American actor, except for Denzel Washington, who place a character without a hint of sarcasm or arrogance. I see it in every other actor which is why I stopped going to movies.
I really liked Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick in Mr. Right. They both danced well and looked and the dialogue was like they're having fun!; but I felt they also brought back an era of dance, music, and dancers who we have forgotten. Kudos to them. I always like Sam Rockwell when he dances. He's just amazing.
I first saw Sam Rockwell in the movie adaptation of Charlie's Angels, he played a charismatic villain and showed some of his dance moves. And then later on, he would show more dance moves in other movies. They did a great job casting the right actor to play Fosse
How the heck can they do a segment on Rockwell and fail to mention his most recent movie, The Best of Enemies." It just came out two days ago and his performance was outstanding. Sad, CBS, sad.
Loved him in "the way way back" as a bill murray figure except cooler. Heck ive loved him in everything hes done. Who can forget wild bill in " the green mile"?
He is truly a gifted performer 🏆
His Fosse is scary good!
TARKUS!
Shines in everything he does. Sublime actor! I truly hope he’s as nice as people say he is.
He got on my radar in Galaxy Quest. Now, I see Sam Rockwell’s in it, I watch it.
Zaphod did it for me! How many roles are there that call for two heads?
hahaha why do people always wanna do this? I’ve been here since “Box of Moonlight” ❤️
Same! Loved that movie amd the cast! He truly seemed to channel Fosse in the biopic series as well.
“You have a last name, Guy!”
“Do I?! DO I?!?!”
🤣🤣🤣
That’s great ,but. have you seen Matchstick Men?
Phenomenal actor! Especially in 3 billboards. And he's pretty easy on the eyes as well.
Yes he is! Damn sexy!!
Handsome
Oh yeah!
He's adorable
Agreed he’s phenomenal but it’s those eyes ❤
What a sweet and poetic response to Dokoupil's last question.
Clooney really put him on the map with his marvelous film, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind.
He’s one of the best actors of past 20 years!
Awesome actor...hands down the best they got these days. Thanks Sam!
One of the best actors around. Period.
The genius of Sam Rockwell..
A true "Actor's Actor" (& was such a nugget when he was little!)
One of the best actors we'll ever have.
Love the personality in his childhood pictures! You can see his spark.
He’s literally been in everything. So adaptable. Great actor.
I think my favorite actor right now, he makes you forget his PUBLIC IMAGE, and he lures you into the story through his acting, and he makes you forget he is Sam Rockwell !!!

Great actor. The Way Way Back, Conviction and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri will always be my favorite films of his.
You forget how many films he's done. He is so talented.
Don't tell me what I forget. I'd be angry at you but shortly I'll forget you said that.
Underrated..
Finally Getting Credit..
Thank You..
100x Welcome.
💯🥰💞
He is classically underrated--one of the best, most versatile actors ever... lead or not he is mesmerizing.
He's NOT underrated. Underrated is not the same as unpopular.
I knew he was something special in GALAXY QUEST. I then watched the Green Mile and yup. Amazing actor. I love him in confessions of a dangerous mind.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
We have to admit it. We always liked him and still his brilliance snuck up on the world.
I've loved this guy since Box of Moonlight!
Yeah, that's the first movie I remember noticing him in.
yessss! me too!! I got to see him perform on Broadway a few years ago. Wish the play would have been three hours long. Wish I could have gone again. He is so dynamic and charismatic. ❤️
"All I want is some cornbread mother F'er" (The Green Mile)🤣🤣🤣
The Hammer Drone!
Charlie's Angels dance scene...Sam was smooth!
I just love him! He’s amazing in F V!
I loved that series too!!
This dude aged like fine wine 👌🏻
Sam Rockwell is an unbelievable actor....in 3 Billboards he outdid himself....very underrated. Hope to see more of him!
God, he's darling. The most talented actor out there. I wish more interviews ended with the subject saying "That would make my heart soar like a hawk.".
He's adorable. I loved him in the Jesse James movie.
Thank you Sam for what you have shown us so far. Looking forward to more in many ways. Keep On truckin! 👍👍
He's so humble

Roy Schneider did an excellent portrayal of Fosse in All That Jazz.
It's spelled "Rob Schneider"
“It’s showtime, folks!” 😉
Just for the sake of accuracy: It's Roy Scheider - ; )
@@paulytamale That's gotta be a joke

Such a good actor I saw moon after three billboards. Forgot to watch Fosse verdon last night but will remember next week
I love Sam and Fosse so I'm 100% watching this show!
*My favorite interview of him!*
Dam I love this guy. Just saw Best of Enemies and now this.
No mention of Galaxy Quest? I wonder how many people have no idea he was in that marvelous take on Star Trek!
Never heard of him before that was until I saw him in 3 Billboards, very good actor.
I adore Sam Rockwell he's a very handsome man! ❤️❤️
WOW... That was on the precipice of good AND no hate filled politics.
Good on you CBS.

What a talent

Thank you 💘

Of course you get Oscar nominated when it's anti-conservative/anti-police.
Best Lawn dogs
Lawn Dogs, and Mr Right.
Confessions of a dangerous mind, moon, conviction, the way way back, galaxy quest.
Sam Rockwell here looks scary. He's Walter White. I wouldn't want to cross him or find him down a dark alley.
Who else is here because of the Bob fosse Michael Jackson connection
Get stuffed, Sammy isn’t 50! (He looks so young!)
Get stuffed? What does that mean?
Dennis Smock kiwi slang, it’s pretty much another word for “what, no way!”
@@aprilmaaarsters Lol.
How ya fly this thang?
That vaudeville existence is much like how Fosse himself was exposed to as a very young age.
I wish he could dance
