I love her voice and I think her voice goes really well with Dimash's voice. In the other song they sing together it comes out even better. She's really great.
Another beautiful duet a couple of years ago (in China again as Dimash is constantly in demand in every huge musical festical concerts) is a duet with a major composer/singer Chang Shilei who composed "Heaven and Earth" ua-cam.com/video/XSLU6ALNWOI/v-deo.html (part of the Silk Road Festival). They only had one afternoon to rehearse so it's more a point/counterpoint duet with harmony at the end. It's one of my favorites. Also, duets in Russia - Ti Amo Cosi trio with Aida Garifulina and Lara Fabian is wonderful. Ulisse duet with Aida Garifulina fabulous. Both on Dimash's UA-cam channel. Both songs composed by Igor Krutoy. Many more wonderful duets and two Queen medleys with multiple singers (Forever Queen with Super Vocal Boys from Singer 2019 and a 2021 team from Shine Super Brothers).

Thank you for your reaction. She is classically trained and a rising star in China. Dimash loves the Chinese people, and they love him. I believe he will always come to perform when invited. These Chinese productions are always spectacular.
Dimash never outings his duet partners, although he could easily do so. He is always very considerate, putting the song, not himself, at the center.- Oh, and these performances are often pre-recorded on Chinese TV, so I doubt she really had to sing in a dangling boat.
It's a very flashy production but definitely not my favourite of the duets Dimash has done recently, that would be Dimash and Gong Linna - Becoming a Poet.
Xiaoyun has a very wide range also, you should check out her other duet with Dimash, "Red Moon Rules". I suspect this is not live, these big production numbers rarely are. It's more of a music video. But those are their voices.

the lyrics should give you an interpretation of what the song is about and why the stage is the universe. Dimash against that backdrop shows how each of us represent humanity in the vastness of the universe yet despite the problems that confront us (wind and waves) etc.. we are still bigger than our problems and we can do better without arrogance or servility at being the captain of our own destiny (ship with Xiaoyun). that's my brief take on it anyway, just from some of the lines that caught my attention. Having followed Dimash's career for some years now it's easy to see the pattern of peace, unity, and friendship that shines through some of these beautiful creations he sings. it's so uplifting for me. I hardly listen to pop western music anymore bc the lyrics to me are mostly meaningless. but Dimash is different he brings these wonderful images that gives hope in a world that's in pain. his voice paints stories with these songs, a blessing to the ears hearts minds and soul of those like him who care about the state of our planet and the human race. I personally like her Shamanistic style however, I seem to like anything that her vocals are in. I do like when she is trying to grab the soul... which she has been lacking for a bit; just saying. Diana's strongest point is not in manipulation, but in being who she really is. She is still young, but she can change the world to be a better place... and I have faith that she will. Valeria Condrea (Valleria) will do the same!

the lyrics should give you an interpretation of what the song is about and why the stage is the universe. Dimash against that backdrop shows how each of us represent humanity in the vastness of the universe yet despite the problems that confront us (wind and waves) etc.. we are still bigger than our problems and we can do better without arrogance or servility at being the captain of our own destiny (ship with Xiaoyun). that's my brief take on it anyway, just from some of the lines that caught my attention. Having followed Dimash's career for some years now it's easy to see the pattern of peace, unity, and friendship that shines through some of these beautiful creations he sings. it's so uplifting for me. I hardly listen to pop western music anymore bc the lyrics to me are mostly meaningless. but Dimash is different he brings these wonderful images that gives hope in a world that's in pain. his voice paints stories with these songs, a blessing to the ears hearts minds and soul of those like him who care about the state of our planet and the human race.
