I've just finished this lovely speaking test with Asem from Kazakhstan. Asem has a relaxed and friendly demeanour and she did very well in this test. I would give her Band 7. i think 7 band speakers can effortlessly speak in english, she seems to be struggling even while coming up with general ideas, but anyways my results will be out in a couple of days and i believe i did quite well, your videos were very helpful, i used 5-6 idioms and phrasal verbs naturally and even the examiner seemed to be impressed judging by the way she reacted to it, hopefully i get 8 bands and if i do get it,all thanks to you mr eli howes.
I agreed with you. I think she will not get band 7 in speaking when it comes to the real test.

Hi, in one of your previous videos I remember you said that you have never seen/met people with writing 9, guess what? IELTS instructor from Navoi in Uzbekistan nailed it , achieving astonishing 9 overall ,as well as 9 in writing!
